I get to stay at a lot of hotels around the country, and the two most important things are a comfy bed and a decent shower. This place had the best of both. Great mattress, awesome pillows, plenty of bedding. The shower was so strong it was borderline painful when the water hit. I couldn’t decide whether to stay in bed or stay in the shower all day. Parking was super easy, drive in straight to the door. Close to everything Burnie has to offer, including a 24 hour servo just down the road. A mate of mine stayed at a much more expensive place down the road at the same time, and even though it had the best of everything, his bed was hard and shower miserable.
The room had only an oil heater, but it wasn’t cold so not needed. Reasonably priced mini bar, free Wi-Fi and a flat screen mounted to the wall. Will definitely stay again, even if it’s just for the shower.

I stay at Wellera Inn at least twice a year its a great spot and the views to the water is amazing I could sit in my room all day and look out at the water. The owners are amazing they can't do enough for you so if your in Burnie stay at this place you won't be disappointed.

Friendly staff! Importantly clean and reasonably sized rooms which are affordable and located close to the beach (beach views from the hotel) and the main town centre.

We arrived late not booked in any where it was very late but we absolutely loved it lovely view and we were very well looked after.

Great view and was clean and tidy with friendly staff but dated rooms needing repairs also no air-conditioning or microwave.

Had a wonderful time at a function in the upstairs function room. Magic food and excellent service. Will go again.

Very friendly staff and clean well appointed rooms. Parking for motorcycle at the door to the room.

Quite a bit of street noise and the Wi-Fi kept cutting off.

We really enjoyed being just out of the town, very clean and roomy, all the lovely facilities you like in a hotel. Comfortable bed delightful outlook as it is up high very enjoyable. Lovely people as hosts who were filling in for the owners.

I liked this place. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you could want, genial host, easy Wi-Fi. We didn't try the restaurant but were recommended to try the club next door, but were haughtily refused service there. An easy walk from the headland where volunteers will show you the penguins hopping up the beach at dusk.

Comfortable, well-equipped room (e. G. Microwave, small coffee plunger). Has a view of the town and the sea. Parking a little awkward for motorcycles as there is a slope down to the room. Towels a bit scratchy.

Nice view and central location. Cheap room prices and free Wi-Fi. Often times they've included free breakfast. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Amazing! very helpful and caring. Clean and friendly … I recommend anyone traveling or local to stay here.

What a brilliant stay I had here, the owners could not have helped anymore at all, they were wonderful. So helpful, kind and cared. I will be back and can not stay just how great this place is. Thankyou so much.
