I loved my 3 night stay, everything was so fresh, clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and the location is ideal for Adelaide’s festival events. Waking up to this glorious view is the perfect way to the start the day.

The rooms are great. Very neat and clean. Would be better if it had a smart TV but it doesn't. Which is a downside. There is also no parking with the hotel. They use a different parking couple of hundred metres from the hotel at a discounted rate. Overall 4 star rating.

Then I had a issue with car parking were I paid full cost then found out I need to pay it at the hotel, I still have not received any response or refund from Ibis.
About cleaning room I haven't sent serval Emails and photos, still no response
During the times we are having I think it is very poor to not have any response.
I loved the view, Front desk staff were nice.
PS Even the Elevators were not cleaned on a daily basis.

Mine and my mother’s 5 night and 4 day stay was wonderful the staff were extremely friendly as well as the house keeping were friendly also and our view was amazing as we always enjoyed eating our breakfast looking out the window.

If you asked me to describe the rm it would be Cumfy as that’s the feeling that I got when I entered the rm it was very clean and tidy & the Bed was so Cumfy I was asleep in no time

Staff are very friendly, rooms are neat and tidy, modern and comfortable. Very compact, not really anywhere to store clothes, but only staying a couple of days so that's not a big issue. The windows could do with a clean, but I guess there's not much you can do about that on a high rise building in any regular fashion.

I went here for lunch with a friend. We both had the fish and wine deal for $20, good value. The chips were crispy but the fish was very soggy, batter was not crispy at all. Bit disappointed with the fish for sure, no taste, Wine and chips were good though.

I have stayed at the Ibis on three occasions. Good modern clean rooms at a great price. However they really shone on my last visit when there was an issue with my room at 3:00am. They quickly sought to rectify the issue, and when it was discovered they couldn't they quickly found me a new room, and provided complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. A brilliant job done. A+ staff.

Centrally located one block from Rundle Mall. Excellent reception area and staff. Excellent bar area and staff. Excellent well appointed room. I used the level one bar dining. There was a generous range of items to choose from. My Cajun chicken was delicious. I would stay here again when it's in Adelaide.

Pretty cheap hotel but definitely have a great service. Staffs were friendly and accommodating. Bed is really comfy and we must say if you're planning to save up some money but still want to sleep comfortably, we suggest you should book your room here. :) Food was okay but rooms are quite small. Overall, it's still a great place to stay when you're on a vacation. Location wise, this is the place we recommend.

The hotel was well kept, modern and located in a fantastic location. The in house restaurant is surprisingly good and if you have an accorplus membership, it's great value. The rooms aren't large, which is expected at the price range. My only negative is that their queen sized bed seem to be smaller than normal. I raised this with their front desk during my stay and management after. They assured me they are queen sized bed but probably the first my feet extended over the edge of the bed by a tiny bit and I'm under 180cm in height. Overall great value for money and I'm likely to return.

Very good hotel for a budget cost! Soft and comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower. Nice assortment of drinks, additional pillows and a very quick lift to get to the higher floors. Friendly staff on the front desk too. Only things to note would be that our bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from the previous guests and there was quite a lot of noise from other rooms and the corridor. The blackout blind however, was amazing!

If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Staff were friendly, rooms were small but that is all I needed for a work trip but lacked drawers. I love to fully unpack and not live out a suitcase but there was no were no drawers, this is the only thing that needs fixing. You cannot beat it for location, you have taxis at the front door, plenty of bus options right along Grenfell Street and easy access to the mall. Will certainly consider it again next time I travel for work.

Recently stayed for 3 or 4 nights ;) Gr3at Vibe, Felt Very Comfortable Trading on different Timezones. Nice Air Con minimal yet effective decor! Awesome up to date Samsung Smart Tech TV in rooms to hook up devices, and for sleeping in the heat during the day cool black block out blinds. Minimal but Plush! Close to Nightlife Whe Adelaide has Any. Fat Controller was Sweet though. Thanks Guys, definitely recommending to interstate and OS friends. David.

Wish we could give this place 0 or — 5 stars rating. We booking a room for three days and paid before. But when we got there, recipient female staff said we weren't and refuse to help. At that moment, we just got off plane and my partner was very sick and outside heavy raining and late night. SO I DON’T WANT TO ARGUE ANYMORE! Immediately booked another room and PAID, in the second day, we found out we DO have book a room yesterday! But again they don't want to refund us money, keep us waiting on the Libby for a long time and said they need time to investigate, but it's pretty obvious the fact we book and paid. Now I still don't get the money! These whole things which were dramatic awful. We have been travel to many places, this is the first time we experienced. What if we don't have enough money at that time or this hotel or other don't have room, we probably need to sleep on the street! We will not be returning, will ensure pass on to all our friends and family and generally anyone that this hotel is a disgrace place and discourage anyone from ordering.

Worst hotel will never be back
The noise from trains, planes and automobiles is intolerable and just relentless all night long. Garbage trucks, trams and trains, planes fly over head shaking the building. I came here for business and haven't had a wink of sleep.
Squeeling Plumbing heard through walls was the last straw.
BTW No mini bar and a tiny exposed rail for a wardrobe?
I was told I was in their most premium room — stark white walls and the tiniest hotel room I have ever been in — a mental asylum would be more inviting.

The hotel is nice, clean, and modern. The room is comfortable but spartan. The staff are good, but limited. It's not a five star luxury hotel but a good choice for an extended stay at a business friendly price.

Great hotel! Excellent location in downtown, close to a lot of restaurants, parks, universities and transportation to beaches. Rooms are very comfortable, service is great, restaurant at the second floor has great food options with a reasonable cost-benefit! Also, they have kiosk with computer and printer for free! I strongly recommend this hotel.

The people here have been nothing but amazing to me. To offering me a better room, to extending my check out time, too letting me know anything about the hotel so I wasnt left in the dark; but most of all improving my stay not because it was their job but because I had decent human beings looking after me. Thank you Ibis! Would definteliy choose you amongst other hotels again, thanks to the wonderful ladies at your reception. :)

Perfect location, lovely staff, great service, super clean and cozy accomodation, vending machines. Restaurant/Bar on 1st floor was a great option for dinner after a long day out. Both pumpkin gnocchi and mushroom risotto were delicious. Highly recommend.

After traveling weekly to Adelaide weekly for some time I've managed to stay in most Accor hotels. IBIS was definitely the surprise performer with its great servce, for a value price. The hotel is modern and well operated with its unique dining service (think uber eats for your hotel room) and 'convenience' vending machine (which replaces a stocked minibar). The rooms are not the largest, and many comforts such as bathtub and wardrobe space are sacrificed for more rooms at a lower cost. I will highly recommend this hotel and keep it as one of my pocket favorites for staying in Adelaide City!

Don't let the name "Ibis" fool you — this is a very good hotel. Staff on check-in and check out were friendly and efficient. Of course, being an Ibis, rooms are small, but they are very new, fresh and nicely appointed. The bathroom is a decent size and more "Mercure" than "Ibis". A lovely breakfast is available in the restaurant, and there's also a bar. Vending machines outside the lifts were convenient and reasonably priced. The location can't be beaten. I would definitely stay here again — it's probably the best Ibis I've stayed in worldwide, and being an Accor Platinum member, I've stayed in more than a few. This one breaks the mold. Highly recommended.

The Reception Staff were very friendly and helpful. As it was a extremely hot day it was bliss to get to my room and find the air conditioning was already on. My room was spotless.
Had dinner in the restaurant and I couldn't fault my meal. Again my compliments to the Staff.
Will definitely stay again if I am in Adelaide again.

The room are splendid and very well maintained. I would say it's pretty good to stay here over night. There was a blown fuse that caused all electrical outlet to fail and it took a while for power to come back. That was one of the downfall and staff couldn't tell when it would be restored. Go if you want a great place to stay. Escape room is only 2 minutes away if you enjoy puzzles.

I enjoyed my stay in my room although a little small it was nice. I would prefer a different range of beers. Also it was unusual to not have room service, I would normally expect room service. I like the view from my room. The blinds were good they blocked out sunlight light well. the food was was nice.

Fast and friendly check-in. I love the rooms in this hotel as they are full of light. A bench runs right along the window making a great work space with plenty of room to spread out. Good bed and pillows. Shower is nice and hot and easy to adjust. Parking is in a public car park a few doors up with good sized spaces — very easy to use. Walk down a short lane to Rundle Mall. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in easy walking distance.

Stayed there for about 10 days a few months ago. Absolutely loved it. Room was a nice size. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were very impeccable. Room was very clean. Had a wonderful view of the city and surrounding hillsides. Dining room and food was very nice. The food was delicious. Loved the function on the television on how you can keep track of purchases billed to you room. If and when I'm back in Adelaide I will surely stay there. Well done.

My first stay was for 2 nights followed a week later with a 1 night stay. The room was well appointed, and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There were some marks on the wall I assume came from previous guests' luggage. I enjoyed a basic breakfast of coffee and pastries. A Continental and Full Breakfast is also available. The location was brilliant. Check-in was easy and the front office staff were very helpful with providing directions to the bus stop and bus times to travel to the airport. I arrived with a hire car and found the side portico entry very convenient for check in prior to returning the car. I would recommend this hotel as good value for location and service.

My room was basic, with a view of roofs and airconditioners, but I didn't expect or need a better view for this stay. The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean and the bathroom and shower were excellent. My dinner steak was cooked perfectly medium rare although I will say the chef has an eccentric mix of tastes in some parts of a meal. Breakfast was average but plentiful. The service all around was very friendly and efficient. The hotel is beautifully sited in town.

Overall our experience was very good. We were warmly greeted on check in and the staff member (I cannot remember her name but she was from Nepal) was very efficient and helpful. The food in the dining room was very good both at breakfast and for dinner. We found the service in the mornings on weekdays left a bit to be desired. The staff were very slow clearing tables and this caused difficulty finding a table to use. One morning there were 7 tables around us that had been vacated but they remained uncleared for our entire meal (45 minutes). The weekend crew were much better. Other than this the entire stay was very pleasant and we will return in the future.

The Hotel is situated in an awesome location. The staff are super friendly and personable, always remembering my name upon my return and always greeted with a smiling face. Nothing is a problem. Ibis Adelaide are really trying to make their mark and they're on the right path! The rooms are clean, beds are super comfortable and the servicing of the rooms is consistent. My experience is mostly positive however a couple of the staff members require further training. The dinner menu has just been recently been changed which shows just how proactive the Ibis are being… but their amazing eye fillet which was one of THE best options on the menu… has been removed. Please bring it back! All in all a great place to stay whether for work or leisure. Highly recommend.

For us it was a great location. Walking distance to everything we needed. Room was tiny however we were only staying one night so not a huge inconvenience. No shower caps! I think this is the first hotel I have stayed in that doesnt supply a shower cap. The vending machine on the floor was great especially since it contained alcoholic beverages. Loved it! The best asset though — the staff. From check in staff to the bar staff to the breakfast staff everyone was FANTASTIC! I would return for them alone.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ibis Adelaide! All staff were very lovely. We loved the buffet breakfast each morning and had a lovely dinner one night which was a nice way for us to wind down after a long day on a tour. Coffee and hot chocolate after dinner were excellent! Our room was lovely and modern with a comfortable bed and a great view over the city. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Adelaide.

The whole experience of our one night stay at the Ibis on Grenfell Street, was equal to the satisfaction we have experienced over the last year. The only blemish occurred when making the booking, several weeks earlier. After our first stay, we requested and were granted, parking for our vehicle in the little park at the hotel. Unfortunately, the reception officer has to consult someone, usually taking five minutes or more. We think a note could be attached to our details on the computer saving this delay. We appreciate the parking because of my mobility disability.

The service was excellent and the room was tidy, clean and at an outstanding standard. I was really happy staying with Ibis hotel in Adelaide. I also want to thank Qantas for relaying me to such a high standard accommodation service. The service was really very good and your staff members are polite, cooperative and supportive. Thank you for making my stay with my daughter easy and relaxed. I will be your customer hereafter. I will also tell others to use your best facilities.

The staff at reception were very helpful and cheerful. We had a corner room, which although small, is so cleverly designed, we didn't feel the slightest bit cramped, and we had great views in two directions. The bed was very comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was first rate. Very nice buffet breakfast too. We only had one small problem — one of the window blinds refused to come down (and we forgot to mention it to the staff on the way out). This is a terrific place for a short stay in the city — close to everything and well priced.

Everything was a fantastic experience from the start to end. Check in was smooth and efficient. The restaurant food quality is top notch — including breakfast which although was a standard breakfast you can find in Australia — everything was well cooked and fresh. The beds were super comfortable and check out was extremely friendly. I wish there were hotels like Ibis Adelaide here in Sydney too. I will definitely return.

Quick overnighter to attend a dinner in the city. Check in was quick, helpful and professional. Requested a room with a view and was very happy with top floor and beautiful views over the city and hills. Room wasn't large but was adequate for what we needed. Bed comfy, bathroom very clean and functional.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Ibis Adelaide is located in the city centre, close to the main pedestrian streets and rich in pub and restaurant shops. The rooms have modern design and are clean. The staff are friendly and ready to meet every request. Wi-Fi present.

The hotel location was quite good — close to Rundle Mall and a short walk away from restaurants and bars. Check in and service at reception was also quite good and staff were friendly. The room was clean and good for an overnight stay. Any longer and it might be uncomfortable for 2 people as it is quite small. Ibis Brisbane included free Wi-Fi but in Adelaide we had to pay for it, which wasn't great. Overall a decent experience and considering it is one of the lower priced hotels it does provide a clean and comfortable stay, particularly for short term trips.

It was well located for everywhere I needed to go on the city. Carpark was $20 for the whole 2 days as I never took it out of the carpark… but it would have c ost another twenty everytime I left for a drive. Better off walking. Nice hotel. Great breakfast.

We got this room on a mystery deal and so it was a huge discount. Even though we paid a discount rate we got all our requests, high floor and Queen bed. Nice clean and modern room. The only down side is how expensive parking is but I guess that is the same nearly everywhere in the Adelaide CBD.

Adelaide was wonderful — a great city to visit on a lovely weekend. The hotel was clean and comfortable, except that I was too hot (the room would not cool below 19 degrees even though it was cooler outside, but I couldn't open the window. I was also disappointed that the Internet was not free without a special membership deal.

Once upon a time, this used to be part of an arcade where I spent plenty of time. 22 years later I return to almost a new building springing up into the sky, the ibis Adelaide. It's a fairly new hotel located right at the heart of the city next to the Adelaide Arcade on Grenfell Street so location wise it's almost perfect. Through the Adelaide Arcade is Rundle Mall which is Adelaide's main pedestrian shopping street. Here you will find food, cafes, groceries stores and others. It's also just a short walk to the University of Adelaide and the North Terrace where most of Adelaide's main attractions and museums are situated. Right outside the hotel is a bus stop. Can't get any more central than this. The hotel's design is pretty modern. There's a hangout area at the lobby. There's also computers lined up in case you need to use one and there are rental bikes right within the hotel that you can rent with your credit card. Ibis is more like a urban chic budget hotel but on my stay, the price was incredibly high mainly due to the cricket match that weekend. The room I had was typical of a ibis. Clean and functional. It isn't big, but have all the basic amenities and a work desk. The view however was great as it looks towards the Adelaide Hill. Wifi in the room was fast and it had all the necessary ports to not cause any inconvenience. But it's no resort, like I said: functional.

The hotel was modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is excellent for shopping as it's close to Rundle Mall and Rundle Street. Only downside is no swimming pool.

Surprisingly good value. We stayed here for a night and loved the hotel. The rooms were modern, clean and had a nice ambience. The only thing we didn't like is the toilet seats which are a bit small and did not cover the whole rim of the toilet. Breakfast was not entirely amazing but it was good. There's a pretty nice selection of hot and cold food. The staff were all very professional and courteous. If you're looking for somewhere central in Adelaide then I would recommend this hotel. The ibis is very close to Rundle mall, north terrace and public transport.

Had a great stay on the weekend. Was put in a room on the 15th floor and had an amazing view of the city and the Adelaide Hills. Room was clean, the bed was really comfortable and the air con was a blessing as it was quite a warm day. All interactions with the staff were really positive and I would recommend staying here to everyone I know, particularly the room I stayed in with that beautiful view!

I thought the rooms and general service at the hotel were good. I was diasapointed with a particular experience in relation to changing my booking. Turned out the flexible rate they offer wasnt as flexible as the wording suggested.

Staying at the Ibis for work. Great location, close to the office, Rundle St mall and nearby restaurants. Room is always very clean, Check in is nice and easy with friendly staff.

Loved everything about the room, the room price, amenities and the staff at the front desk checking in and checking out as well as the breakfast buffet were all exceptional. The hotel is perfectly located with Rundle mall and North Terrace with all the museums, hospital and university within a stone's throw away. The company is highly responsive to feedback. I was really taken by surprise with their rapid response to some feedback to improve an aspect of their bathroom from both the hotel General Manager and the COO for Ibis. Well done.

Good location just behind shopping area. Great value. Room feels new and clean. A pretty basic hotel.

Nice hotel, very central location, clean and quite, even facing the main street. No issue at all for them 2 nights we stayed there. Definitely meeting our expectations.

Service was excellent. I wish they provided free Wi-Fi though.

Friendly staff. Lovely food. Convenient to PalaceNova for a movie in Rundle St and The Mall and great place for a date night with my husband.

I was staying at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a business trip and was quite impressed by the look of this hotel. However, upon check-in it seemed that it was peak time with not enough staff present to assist with bookings. After a 20min wait to be served I requested a room that was on a higher floor and in quiet location. I was given a room on the 10th floor facing the main road right above a bus station and I could still hear the noise of each bus stopping and driving on quite frequently. To which I had to then come down to the lobby again and re-wait in line to be given a new room. This time on the 5th floor facing the back but with a view of some ugly fans. This was much quieter, I didn't want to cause further issues so I just accepted this room. The rooms themselves while small were functional, new bathroom furnishings, beds, and large TV in the room which unfortunately didn't have any cable TV channels. I had Wi-Fi included in my room so used that quite alot and found it to be really fast and suited my personal needs. I attempted to eat at the restaurant/bar on one of the nights for dinner but the restaurant was closed due to private function till 8.30pm (of which no one bothered to notify guests) until you visited that floor. The pros, is that the hotel was located in a central location and right near Rundle Mall which was good to go for a walk around in the evenings and was good value for money.

Rooms are clean, service is friendly, breakfast buffet is awesome, the bar is nice and is right in the city. What more can you want.

The entire team at the Ibis were lovely. Particularly Shannon, who kindly gave me a drinks voucher because I was visiting Adelaide to try and win back my ex-partner. If I ever need to go back to Adelaide I'll stay at the Ibis.

New hotel feel, with friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are big, with plenty of furnishings to make for a comfortable stay. Well maintained and clean. The only downside I there is nothing stopping water from flowing all over the bathroom as it is not closed in with a bath or glass.

Very decent place, and basic needs are met. If you are renting a car, overnight parking is available nearby. Enjoyed my stay.

Great meals, bar is pretty neat too. Second visit. It's still new, so they are working on minor issues. I'll likely stay here again as I know I'll be happy with the service.
