Amazing camping right next to the Mary River, lush green grass with fire pits avaliable everywhere. Plenty of walking tracks and billabongs to see.

Definitely 5 star remote retreat/ resort. Private, shady or even hire a boat to fish or croc watch. Good for a cabins or Van site.

Nice place to go camping not to far out of Darwin.

Watch out for crocks great barramundi.

Stayed here last minute whilst driving into Kakadu. We met the lovely Megan, who despite it being 8pm and we were the only people on the site was really accomodating. The place itself was great, we were camping so went and set up by the river, we were sheltered with a lovely breeze and had the best sleep of our NT trip here, perhaps down to the lovely bush shower that we had next to our site and that cooled us down before bed. Such a simple idea but great to shower outdoors in such a beautiful spot. Kitchen facilites & BBQ were great, well kept site, the best we came across in the NT. Would love to stay again.

A must. Electronic free vacation. No reception or internet. Loved it.

Good breakfast. Wonderful location.

Staff were very helpful, room was clean, just the shower head needed to be replaced, it was leaking, had lunch and tea at the restaurant, it was excellent food, great place to stay.

Great peaceful place. Campkitchen is a bit old but the location is awesome. You can even hire a small boat and look for crocs in the river.

Quite and really nice and relaxing, worried about the water use though. Gotta keep that grass green I guess.

The accomodation cabins are self contained with bathroom and bar fridge. Mosquitos can be an issue as well as brezzeless nights. Overall the retreat is a good place to take the kids for a weekend.

Saltwater Crocodiles in the river at the back of the resort. A man was once eaten here a couple of years ago.

A little run down but friendly service and the facilities were good. A trip on the river is recommended.

Made a quick visit to see what the place was like. It has a really nice setting with lots of wildlife and friendly staff. We'll be planning a stay here this dry season.

A uniquely peaceful place to stay, relax and unwind. I enjoyed the early morning walks, crisp and full of promise for yet another beautiful day. The river itself was raw and foreboding in it's beauty.

Awesome property, and activities to do here, very nice people…

Went here on a uni trip in Feb 2012. The park had just changed hands and we couldn't believe how smoothly they had everything running! The cabins were immaculate, the pools perfect and the food to die for (even when it was to feed a group of 80! ). Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable, went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable for the whole trip. Highly recommend.
