I had a very relaxing time lazing around the beautiful swimming pool.

Worst stay would not recommend. Bathroom bedroom and kitchen all full of ants upon arrival, woken up at 6am by ants crawling over the bed. Couldn’t open our rear sliding doors and the fridge won’t close properly, 650$ a night very disappointing payed less for much better….

Large, clean rooms and nice pool and surrounding area.

Great pool area, large comfortable room with fridge, hairdryer, comfy bed, heaps of pillows, lovely clean linen, friendly staff, good budget breakfast (costs extra in our case) central location, secure, lovely gardens would highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Spotless foyer and rooms. Very comfortable bed and the pool is fabulous.
Great position close to the Darwin waterfront, Esplanade and excellent restaurants all within walking distance. Woolies right across the road is also very handy. We will definitely be back. 😎

It's Darwin it's old but it has Darwin Magic it's right in the middle of Darwin but it's more secure than most banks I leave a gated community it's going to be the way of the future. The prices cheap! I spent twice as much a night in Mary River but it's not about the money it's about the experience. There's a lot going on in Darwin with Covid and Travel Lodge is right in it. The staff are under pressure and that's good. The two lads at reception were smart and professional enough to work out I like nice things and they were very helpful eventually The room could have been better prepared I'll admit I'm an OCD Perfectionist but bins being emptied is paramount and soap left in the shower a big no no. I wasn't going to mention it but I left the trolley I pushed my belongings on with the bin and the sign telling me how clean my room was outside the door and it stayed there till after 6am this morning. (Small thing) but if I get Covid I will sue Pool cool and deep! And quiet I had 2 cocktails and some Bubbles (Italian) ♥️ and my dinner in my wet shorts sitting in a deck chair. I even had to tell the Barman to stop calling me Sir Just finished breaky at Tree Tops Green Tea and eggs on muffins I've got 5 more days ♥️

Lovely and friendly and quiet motel, and it's beautiful, I love it.

Stayed there in 2017, very happy all round, rooms clean and well furnished, serviced each day. Breakfasts were amazing, plenty to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful, two especially come to mind, Lena on front desk, a mine of info and Kenneth the maintenance man, he rode his scooter and got us fresh prawns. Pools were well maintained, we couldn’t keep out of them. Location was perfect right in CBD, woolies and shops across road, mall close by, good variety of interesting shops. Waterfront area was great and within walking distance. I am currently saving to visit Darwin again and I will be staying at Travelodge Mirambeena Resort.

I would recommend everything, all staff are amazing in all areas of service.

Absolutely disgusted at the service we received upon arrival yesturday. The way my wife was spoken to was less than acceptable. Our family has stayed here at least 5 times a year for 7 years and we will never step foot in this establishment again. Good luck surviving the slow season if this is the way your going to treat your territory locals.

Awesome place, staff are very polite and friendly. Pool is picturesque and inviting with drinks available at the poolside bar.

Wish I had more time to relax and enjoy the pool, the service was warm and friendly. The food and drink was enjoyable. The room had all you wanted for a short stay.

This is primarily an accommodation resort, with meals available. I went, with friends, for lunch (May 2018). The restaurant doesn't open until later in the year, so, only light bar-meals were available, adjacent to the pool. The menu was limited. Serves were a good size, and tasty, and reasonably-priced.

Three start resort its what you pay for. Pool is amazing. Just lacks finess and attention to detail.

Spacious and very well equipped room: air-conditioning, safe, table and iron… The bed is especially large and comfortable. The bathroom is just as spacious even though the shower does a bit ' cheap ' compared to the rest. Restaurant part, breakfast is especially varied and good quality overall. Pool side, 2 pools that will welcome people looking for a little freshness! The private parking at the hotel is a plus not negligible, especially with the rental bikes available (which remain expensive). Finally the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful.
Location level, this hotel is very well located vis-a-vis the city center and the supermarket right in front! Mindil Beach is 2 km away, which remains close. The hotel is served by many tour operator, which is top!
This hotel deserves a 5 just for the value for money.

I realy enjoyed stay in this hotel in heart of Darwin It has good restaurant and great tropical garden with 3 swimming pools.

Staff were friendly and location was great. Rooms needed an upgrade but were comfortable.

The Treetops restaurant had a very good breakfast and helpful friendly staff could not have been nicer. Our room was not cleaned really well and the beds were hard, the sheets were not changed until we complained after 4 days. Having requested disabled access we were given a room with access via sloped walkways which were quite steep when pushing someone and a long walk from reception. The staff were nice and helpful on reception but did not move us closer or really understand our need to reduce walking distances with a disabled mobility restricted person. The pool was good. The location and parking good.

The pool is nice, closes at 11pm. The hallways on the ground floor smell of mold, though the music there is always very relaxing. When I entered the room the first time it smelled of chlorine, the bathroom was probably cleaned pretty well just before. The fridge made a high pitch noise, they were fast in replacing it for me, the new one made all kind of noises, we decided to call him Fergo. The hotel breakfast is not as fresh as one would like/expect (the eggs tasted like they were at least three days old, special request of poached eggs will prevent this). Breakfast closes at 9.30. Cleaning happens untill 2pm, but if they skip your door you'll have to inform reception that you want it cleaned. One of the guests in the outside separate section was having trouble opening the door for half an hour, I came to help but was unable, there was no power in the lock. Eventually personell came in to fix it, it took quite a while. Even though some other guests were able to open the front door (sliders) in the evening with their cards, ours never worked, but there was a button to reach reception. When checking out all initial kindness of the staff had disappeared, there was the question of money for breakfast, no thanks, see you again or goodbye whatsoever. The room was in an ok condition, the drain covers in the bathroom were all broken and loose, but all was clean. The walls are thin but it was quiet, though it was not high season.

Centrally located, clean rooms, and beautiful pool. They allow early check in! Nearly all flights into darwin arrive at 4/6am, and unless you want to pay for two nights at a hotel its very hard to find somewhere to stay. I have stayed at double tree, paid $130/night plus early check in fee of $60. And this was a discounted early check in fee for being a Hilton honors member. At the travelodge they just gave us their last room. We book it on agoda because it was cheaper, $92, plus a $40 check in fee. So it was $50 less than double tree, very happy with that :) I will come here again the next time I fly into darwin at an ungodly hour and need to rest for the day before my drive 12 hours south to my home.

Staff lovely bit sink in bathroon had been damaged and tap also damaged. There was 1 glass in fridge for 2 people, a long hair in cup and the shower floor dangerously slipery when wet. Otherwise had a good stay over.

I just don’t understand why the management and owners of Travelodge Mirambeena aren’t protesting like mad about Barneson Boulevard running within meters of their back rooms. I just cannot see how anyone will want to stay there! 4 lanes of traffic terminating at Cavenagh Street, the noise, the exhaust fumes, destroying the green space in Frog Hollow all the back rooms currently overlook! Fancy overlooking a 60 m wide road, and the noise and the mess during construction! I would be screaming from the roof top, and yet we hear NOTHING from them! It makes no sense to me at all. They should be insisting the road STOPS at McMinn Street in a roundabout if the NTG continues to insist it be built at all.

No bar… no restaurant… other people's hair in the bathroom, uncomfortable bed. I've stayed in better backpackers… never stay here again.

This was a really nice and coat effective place. Beds comfy, pool area nice and warm in the sunshine. Brekky simple but adequate.

Terrible. Will stop recommending. Even if you are usually happy less in budget accommodation in Darwin city, think twice. Rooms have been left to horribly run down condition. The poolside bar has always been nice for drinks and bar food. However it was difficult to get anyone to provide service for drinks and wine was served in a plastic soft drink cup. I'm not terribly fussy but others will be. No wonder Darwin gets a bad rap from visitors. Menu was lame and one I saw come out did not look nice. We went elsewhere for dinner. In meantime my son even cut his foot on the pool tiles — about inch long cut. I get Darwin wet season is hard for hotels but cmon guys. Won't be receiving local support or recommdations from us anymore. Step up.

Didnt find the service of the Restraunt very good. I was in the newer section of the hotel and the mattress was hard and every time I moved it squeezed. When I went for breakfast there was a cocroch on the top plate was disappointed.

Not a very clean hotel. Too many indigenous people just hanging out IN the hotel. Room cleanliness well below par. Elevators NOT airconditioned. Restaurant breakfast offerings limited and the same every day. Coffee NOT hot. Just look at all the electrical plugs and cords plugged into a powerboard-get even a little build up of fluff and dust and you have a perfect recipe for a fire — very dangerous. Don't even think of staying there!

Very nice welcoming staff, lots to do for the family with great pool. Gymnasium, Bbq, Wifi, Woolworths and main bus stop across the road. Thanks for the 7night holiday TLRD.

Worst room Wi-Fi experience ever. Connection keeps dropping and when I'm are connected the speed is so slow that I can't even check emails or load Reddit.

Nice large rooms and very clean. Pool open from 6am to 11pm which is far to long if you have a room overlooking the pool and you want an early night kids in pool screaming until 11.00pm not fair on older guests.

Very friendly and helpful. We were really jetlagged and they did their bedt to get us checked in as early as possible. Room was great — really big and clean. Pool was clean and attractive.

Half channels missing from TV. Shower head at shoulder height. Otherwise nice comfortable hotel.

Nice pool area. Large hotel complex with different types of accommodation. Bathroom for the price not so great, it lacks extra blankets and it lacks the minibar. There is a refrigerator, a kettle and tea and instant coffee. With milk in the fridge!

I would recommend this place. The service was very good. Staff named Astha (who served us) is an adorable blond, very personable and very efficient. Our food and drinks were very good, price was affordable. Thanks made our day.

Nice pool area with a pool bar, standard restaurant, and 24 hour concierge for check-in. Get a standard room — DON'T get townhouses 1-5. They back onto the main street so noise from trucks, buses, people all come into the bedroom area. Had a couple rough nights sleep.

Dated hotel, but very clean and the room we had was large. Pool nice, as was area around it. We were there for 9 nights and the spa wasn't working the whole time. No sign to indicate it was out of order. We only found out because we asked how to turn it on. Poolside bar & food good. Breakfast ordinary. We only ate breakfast there once, on our first morning. Excellent location. Within easy walking distance to the centre of the city and a little longer to the gorgeous Darwin Waterfront. Supermarket very close. Staff mostly friendly.

Well, it was ok. The rooms could have done with a toaster and a microwave. The rooms clean and tidy and the cleaning staff was amazing and beautiful. Thanks ladies… Great location had its only good point. My whinge is that 1 pool didn't looked treated at all. Never seen a pool maintanance man in site the whole time. We even emptied the skimmer boxes ourselves. Bought it to the attention of management and they didn't do anything for about 3 days. When they did eventually do something, they must have put a shitload of chemicals in there and our 2 children were crying with stinging to the faces. On the very last day they made that same pool out of order… This happens 5 days later. Poor work guys…
We received 2 free drinks vouchers… Really! Didn't cut it guys and nor did we hear from management on this matter. The maintanance around the pool area needed attention also…

Nice pool, OK hotel, dishonest limit servers. Well located in Darwin (which otherwise does not have much interest).

No better than 4 stars. Hotel was very close to CBD and bus stops across the road. Great pool facilities. Rooms were a bit dated and bathrooms in particular shower could do with a decent clean. The housekeeping was average, often missing a towel or face cloth to be replaced. But would return to this accommodation.

The travel lodge is in an excellent location for those who wish to be close to the main city of Darwin. It is walking distance to everything from shops, restaurants, tourist attractions and tourist agencies. The hotel itself can fairly clean and the rooms were spacious. Serice such as room service was slow and the staff were standard.

This is a nice hotel with a lot of potential, the staff is nice helpful and very welcoming. The bedroom is not exactly as the pictures but it's still a nice one to stay. We also had a free storage area for our luggages while we were on excursions for 3 days (really convenient! )

Good location in the CBD only a short walk to the waterfront and shops. The room was clean but very basic, a little bit old and in need of refreshing. You really feel like it's a budget hotel which yes I know it is but it's nice when you get more than what you pay for. Nice shower though!

Rooms were well equipped, pool was lovely, brekky was great. Easy access to Darwin CBD and essential shops and services.

Just ate at the Treetop, was very disappointed. My main meal with the Caesar salad egg was pre cooked… Which was Rock hard when eating into it… So I gave up on that. The Prawns were also pre cooked. They were just disgusting… You just can't have prawns pre cooked as they taste like rubber. The lettuce and dressing was probably the best part. I also had my 3 year old son with me, I found my waiter quite rude to him tell him to sit properly in the chair when we had just first arrived, mind you the tables are quite high. I am quite cable of disciplining my own child. He then gave my child a "glass" cup for my child's juice that was way too big for him to hold and filled up to the top, of course the drink tips all over him just before the waiter telling him not too spill it as he obviously knew it was too big and too full for such a little person. The whole time he was just hovering and keeping an eye on us, so you could say I felt quite uncomfortable. I couldn't wait to leave your restaurant. Also when paying he just kept lurking over to see what my child was doing… As all he was doing was just touching the child high chair, I could see him in the corner of my eye trying to get him to stop. He is just being a kid for goodness sake.
On a good note I have been quite happy with my room and my stay at the travel lodge.

Travelodge is a nice place, located in the city and not difficult to find, it's rooms are very comfortable and well furnished, the services are superb. I definitely will be going there again and again. Bravo to Travelodge.

Pretty average, in need of an upgrade. Buffet breakfast is one to forget. Highlight is the three star coffee machine.

Rooms are ok but not great. Shower screen missing so had a curtain. Room smelled a bit musty. And just feel like an old hotel. Pool area is good and relaxing max 3 stars.

Facility is very old need a lot maintain, two rooms we stayed both bathroom fan not working. The second one with drain blockage. But definitely a bargain, with very good location.

On first impressions I was happy with this hotel. The pool is lovely and the rooms are clean and okay. I have to say though that is about where it stops. I got the quote on line but did ring to confirm the information about the hotel that was most important was correct. That being that I could get Wi-Fi in my room (yes but I would have to pay. ) I am traveling for work and need Wi-Fi in my room and happy to pay. I have yet to beable to access to Wi-Fi and the staff have been unhelpful in trying to resovle this problem. I have been given a support number but as yet have been helped by the support at the external support centre as they haven't called back as promised. I will be returning to Darwin for work but not to this hotel.

Terrible room and over priced.

So disappointing compared to our stays at previous Travelodge's. Old, dirty with hard uncomfortable beds. Two mismatched singles made up as a king what a joke and it is not even as though it comes at a bargain price. Fridge had never been cleaned or serviced as fridge so iced up door could not close and fridge ran continuously, loudly all night. Cracked and dirty shower and floor tiles. Dirty stained pillowcases. Don't bother to stay here if you want to enjoy your break.

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days and they only washed the cups and glasses twice in all that time. The floors weren't vacuumed much more frequently either. We were on the 2nd floor of theSimpson Wing and there was no lift so we had to lug our cases up a flight of stairs! We had dinner at the restaurant the first night and waited an hour for our meal, and that was only after asking what had happened to it! The breakfast was OK but we didn't chance the evening meal again. The rooms were not a high standard of cleanliness. I would recommend trying other hotels before Travelodge Mirambeena Resort.

MovieLink has overtaken normal TV functions! Remote Control is SLUGGISH and has no numeric buttons. This means that one has to click next button more than six times to connect to Sky News. One evening Sky News was ADULT only after 7:30 and needed staff to reset to normal. There were on operating instructions for alarm clock, safe etc. I will never book Travelodge again. Also no lift to second floor in front wing.

We had to stay at Travelodge because a passing through twice and have been disappointed twice absolutely. Our 2 triple room smelled vermodert and were sprayed after our claim by a hotel staff member, so that they no longer so bad stink, which brought no improvement in the night, however. The air conditioning each of the two rooms in this area extremely important in both rooms did not work. What one must concede the Hotelm however, is that they have really good fitness rooms with great facilities, as well as a pleasant pool. That's it then but even, because breakfast disappoint us again. The most food was not fresh and hot food was issued only after the payment, even though the prices were overall extremely expensive. My advice: Here I would not even go in your place.
