Scammer - beware

The owner of this place is a disgusting scammer who is looking to take advantage on tourists. I booked this place for 2 nights via booking. Com in June 2022. She was rude to me since the first time I called her and threatened to cancel my booing if I do not pay in advance even though booking. Com did not take money for my reservation, so she should have solved it with the booking platform, but instead she puts her problems on tourists. Yet she did not cancel.
When I arrived, she was mean again and demanded payment in cash or via Web link. I did bring cash but I asked her to provide receipt, she said she will do in the morning, then I said I will pay in the morning, she threatened to kick me out then and said that she does not care that my booking is confirmed. I called police and unfortunatelly they do not protect tourists in Darwin and told me that if the owner asks me to leave, I have to, so I did, I guess for better, before these owners stolen my things. After 15 years of traveling alone I never met such experience and it is shocking that it is happening in Australia.
I reported to booking. Com of course, they made sure that this scammer wil not get any funds and they cannot accept bookings anymore, reported to scam watch as well, hope that can take it seriously.
