Very disappointed with our stay. Our bathroom was filthy, shower and bath covered in soap scum and mould. The toilet looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned for months. We (husband, myself and our 6 month old daughter) were looking forward to a ‘spa’ but decided against that due to the poor cleaning and conditions. Cutlery was filthy, The fire alarm went off through the whole hotel and our room alarm didn’t sound at all, slightly vibrated that’s it. Our hallway alarm sounded for a minute or so then fizzed out and didn’t work. Overpriced and highly disappointed.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! PLACE IS FALLING APART! My husband and I recently booked a two night stay in a 1 Bedroom Spa Apartment. The room absolutely stank of garlic and the windows couldnt be left open to air it out as most had no screens. The one window that did have a screen had it 2-way taped sticky taped onto the frame and it kept unsticking. We had a stained bathtub with jets that looked very unhygenic not to mention one end of the bath the tiles were cracked and the s…ide was falling away! The couch was sinking in and the speaker in the lounge was covered in muck. In the end my husband decided to see if we could pay more and have something, anything else… nope, we werent able to upgrade, at the $200 a night we had paid we both decided we would rather forfiet our 2 nights away together and drove the 3 and a half hour trip home again after being there about 30 minutes. please dont waste your money! I wish I had seen these reviews before we booked!

Was great had a pool and great views, within walking distance of main street but the place needed updating.

Beautiful room, beautiful view, lovely greeting and help from the lady at front desk. Love the presentation on the toilit rolls. Lovely boat haven beach 500m across the road. Will be back.

Clean and tidy motel, had the top floor, great views of the coral sea. Ten minutes walk in to town.

Negatives first. It wasn't very well cleaned, the water boiler looks like it's been used since the nineties, the remote control didn't have batteries, the kitchen didn't have sufficient tools, there was no international power adaptor available for loan and the Wi-Fi is really expensive. Positives are that it's close to the Greyhound bus stop, the apartments in general look good, have a great view and are big. Carolyn in the reception was very friendly, both on the phone and in person.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay. Directly across the street from the Marina. Which has restaurants an shops. An only 5 minutes from the Centre of town. A very family atmosphere with great staff. A huge bathtub in the bathroom. An downstairs you have the pool an heated spa which would be enough for 8 people. It was just nice to get away from the Gold Coast for a week to just totally relax an enjoy the views an locals are very friendly. Also heaps of back packers.

Room didn't look exactly like the pictures. The place was okay. Great balcony view. And reception wasn't much help. Wouldn't stay here again.

Quite a comfortable room with a spa overlooking the ocean.

While the room was nicely cleaned, it was like stepping back into the 80s. Some windows had no screens and the tables rickety and the outside table ready to fall to bits. All very old and dated. The pool area was ok but didn't look inviting, very bland. Would not stay again at the price they charged.

Room was far from what was advertised on the internet. Bed was unuseable. Rock hard and room was lit up like a xmas tree so my son and I shared the pullout sofa. Booked 2 nights and stayed only 1. Decided driving to townsville was best for us even though out of pocket for 1 nights accommodation. Only upside was the lovely freindly receptionist.

I am finding my stay very nice, close to town centre (a nice morning walk before & after breakfast). 4th floor view is nice.

The room is not so big however I'm happy with the view, I don't care if staff are rude or friendly (only had to communicate once). It's a 10 minute walk into the centre of town and my room was clean. Bed comfortable, couch cosy, shower worked and toilet flushed.

Not the best place to stay staff are in un friendly room ate average in cleaness.

Our stay was very comfortable, great service at the reception desk.

Rooms small an needs redecorating. They have a drainage problem our room smelt like sewage. Value for money terrible.

It's not so close to the main street of Airlie and not far away from it. Good sunrise views from north facing units. Large spacious rooms with kitchen. It feels very homely.

Accomadation was cheap on a budget nothing to rave home about small rooms but had everything u need jacuzzi was cool but water goes everywhere worst thing ever was the bed worst bed ever ever ever I have slept in and I tell u im the type that no cares ill sleep on a couch but no bed needs to be thrown out springs in it didnt even have springs was the worse 2 days sleep if my life wouldnt recommend unless its only option.

Very budget at a high price. Very disappointed. Would not recommend it.

Awesome place to stay with kids!

Great room with a fantastic view of Chute Harbour.

Accommodation: lots and lots of stairs and a broken elevator during our visit. Rooms are roomy enough, extremely quiet. Restaurant is open for dinner only and only a few guests in several days. Rooms are quite dated, but kitchenette is well equipped. A fair walk to town or about seven dollars if taking a cab after picking up groceries at woolies. The front desk ladies are very nice and welcoming. Didn't see any other staff. Pool pics are deceiving, but on a hot day, the pool is a good place to cool off. No swimming at local beaches, but Airlie Beach has a huge public pool that is very nice. Town has lots of shops and restaurants.

Great view. Room was clean and comfortable. Bit of a walk the main street of arlie beach.

This place was over priced. The room stunk like sewerage so did the bed and towels. The shower and spa were usless. Can't even stand up in the shower. Water leaks all over the floor in the shower leaving the whole bathroom wet witch has no ventilation in there and no exhaust fan. We couldn't sleep as it was so noisy in the room because of the setup every time the person in the room beside you opens there door it wakes you up. The thai restaurant had the worst food you could imagine it was horrible. Would prefer to stay at the backpackers than this place any day.

This is a nice apartment if you not looking for a expensive 5 stars hotel. Everything you can manage by youself like wash dishes and dry clothes. They prepare quite good place and all the things for those saver money and enjoy DIY travellers.

The staff/caretakers were incredibly rude and offensive. I requested fresh towels and this was rudely refused. When I used the facilities to wash and dry the towels, they broke. I was unable to find staff to communicate this problem to as the emergency contact details were incorrect the phone line disconnected. When I finally found someone and expressed my displeasure, they became incredibly abusive and rude, calling name and unpleasantries. They told us to leave and expected that we would do so without a refund. Naturally we refused, without a refund. This was the most unpleasant stay I have ever experienced.

Staff were very friendly and helpful organizing tours and activities. Overall not a bad experience. Good value for money off wotif.
