Well what a lovely place to visit and stay. We loved it so much we have re booked 2 cabins for June and taking some family with us. We had a lovely 3 night stay for our wedding anniversary to recharge, relax and reconnect. Our privacy was valued, our accomodation was clean and comfortable. Ammenities were clean and the cabin was stocked with every little thing that we needed. The view amazing and the wildlife very entertaining. The Donkeys were so friendly and loved to see us. We took them some apples and buns. The sounds of nature is always so relaxing. Laying out on the balcony in the hammock was my favourite place to be……for hours. We went on One Tree Hill hike which was safe and exciting. Love how care is taken to make sure pathways are visible but just enough overgrown to give the sense of being in the rainforest. Thank you so much Glenn and Angela for a wonderful place to visit. See you in June. 🤗

Just rang to try and book acommodation for later in January, and before I even gave them a date they said they were booked out. When I asked them to check the date I wanted, since it was showing availability online I was told they were starting renovations the next day! So much for trying to support local business : (

Everything about this place is gorgeous: the location, the cabins, the hosts, the property and the wildlife. A magical weekend away, we will definitely be back!

Relaxing and absolutely fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay the owner was very helpful and thoughtful.
Every little detail was catered for one suggestion would be to update the in-house stereo so they can be paired with mobile phones.

What a beautiful place to come stay, unwind and chill. The little touches make this stay that much more enjoyable. We had to ask for nothing, just enjoy our stay.
We fed donkeys, walked and popped over to Montville for a bite to eat.

Quiet retreat, serenity at it's best with creature comforts on tap. King size bed, fireplace, cosy lounge, close to Maleny. Even resident donkeys to delight us.

My husband and I stayed at these gorgeous cottages for his 60th birthday. It was such a peaceful, relaxing weekend. Just what we needed! The views were glorious and it was beautiful to be woken up by the abundant bird life around the cabin. We even had our own Magpie call in and sing for us. Thank you Angela and Glen for your lovely hospitality.

Perfect couples hideaway. Hosts are amazing with personal touches including chocolates, icecream & candles on arrival. Highly recommend!

A hidden secret treasure of a location. Amazing few days of peaceful unwinding in a lovely cottage where we wanted for nothing. Beautiful location for anyone wanting a cozy break away.

Such a great place to go and relax. No phone or internet service while there which helped myself reset very well.

Beautiful and peaceful spot, even in the rain. The hosts go out of their way to make your stay easy, relaxing and enjoyable. The cabin was really spacious, warm and welcoming.

Me and my partner stayed here for my birthday and it was perfect. The owners really go that extra mile to make your stay more comfortable and it shows. Fire place was amazing and was already built for us so all we had to do was chuck a match in. Kitchen had everything, including a coffee machine. Views were stunning. Felt like we were there all by ourselves. Will decently be back.

Highly recommend. Spent a lovely birthday weekend nestled away in nature enjoying the seclusion. The hosts are lovely and communication is great. Glenn even came down to get our TV to work just as his footie was about to start. Breakfast hamper was perfect for us both for the weekend and the little extras made the accommodation more special. Definitely want to return.

Spent the weekend with our dear friends in the 2 bedroom ‘Tallowood’ No 4 cottage.
Glenn & Angela have excellent communication skills and kept us informed regarding our booking the whole way through from booking to departure, but privacy was guaranteed and delivered.
We stayed 3 nights, but so wish that we could have stayed longer.
Impressed by the stocking of the cottage — bottled water, milk and chocolates in the fridge, candles, weed pre-cut and stacked ready to go, dvd’s and lots more.
I’m sure that we will return!

10/10 This place was amazing! The cottage was so cute and perfect for a romantic weekend away with the husband. The owners were so lovely — when the courtesy bus didnt show up he drove us into town. We will definitely be coming back.

Whispering Valley is the perfect romantic getaway nestled in the beautiful Maleny Mountains and bush.
Your hosts Glenn and Angela are the best.
They will go out of their way to accommodate all your needs as well as offering the privacy, peace and quiet to make sure you leave feeling recharged and rejuvenated. With a fireplace to keep warm and cozy as well as your own private spa baths to relax in.
They also offer divine massages that come straight to your cabin ;… at a time that suits you as well beautiful picnic hampers of all varietys for your special occasion.
So do your self a favour and book in for your Ultimate Retreat Getaway. Big love to Whispering Valley one of my favorite places in Maleny.

Pictures are an accurate representation of this hidden gem. Beautiful wooden cabin tucked away with a lot of privacy and no one around. The little touches like the Maleny milk and yogurt in the fridge and of course the Fire place ready to light makes the stay even more special. The only downside was this beautiful small window near the roof that had no curtin so we were woken very early by mother nature. Overall would highly recommend & would love to go back one day.

Absolutely beautiful place. My wife and I have been here 3-4 times now, every time has been wonderful. We just stayed here this weekend for our wedding anniversary, and it was beautiful. The owners are lovely, very friendly and accommodating, will definately be coming back again soon. Can’t speak highly enough of this place and the tranquility and serenity that is here.

Beautiful hidden gem. Stayed few days for Knitfest. Love it. Outside city noisy and just relax and enjoy the benefits of the town.

Best cottages we’ve stayed at. Had everything we could want! The only thing no view from spa bath otherwise the absolute best. King bed to boot!

Omg this place hands down! Where do I start! This place/cabin or cottage is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment we drove up to our cabin and unpacked the car, check in was easy the key was in our cabin already to go didn’t have to say hi or speak to anyone (unless u want to) we then stared the fire place, cracked open a bottle of wine and sat and watched some movies… this place is beyond gorgeous. We have stayed in many cabins ova the coast and I think it’s easy for me to say this one now wins… the cabin has everything, more then the other places we have been. It has all you need in the cupboard for cooking with, it has tea and sugar supplies, it even has a real coffee machine omg! It has a mini heater, a fan (yes it gets hot in the cabin believe me and we are here in June! ) and it has bath robes to walk around in. The spa bath is amazing with all little essentials added, HOWEVER (I think because it’s rainwater the water is abit yellow but who caress I added a bath bomb and some body wash lol) they supply bath soap and body wash, shampoo conditioner and body lotion. We stayed here for 2 nights in the sally wattle cabin. It’s sooo quite here we didn’t know we had neighbours. We went exploring maleny and we drove around the hinterland and brought lots of fudge and did wine tasting in Montville. This cosy cottage has it all. It’s all beautiful ohh and the bed is amazing sooo big and comfy I didn’t even know I had my husband next to me. We are defiantly coming back next year.

A beautiful relaxing getaway. The cabin was clean and in immaculate shape, well stocked, complementary wine and chocolates upon arrival, and an amazing fireplace which made the overall experience awesome. Owners are great people and very accomodating. There are little tracks along the property and also some very beautiful donkeys and birds. Best place my partner and I have ever stayed at, we'll definitely be back! Thumbs up Glenn and Angela!

Amazing! Truely truely amazing! My partner and I wanted somewhere relaxing, romantic & peaceful. We got all that & more! We arrived to a beautiful cabin hidden and with the most beautiful view of a beautiful dam, kangaroos & hills.
The fridge was stocked with local bacon, sausages, milk, cheese, butter, fruit &bread & the place was decked out for a relaxing getaway. We sat by the fire and played uno and enjoyed each others time and was so beautiful! The spa is big and the place was super tidy! The donkeys were so friendly and it's awesome you get to feed them! The owners were so lovely and friendly! I fell INLOVE with Maleny! Can't wait to come back :)

Fantastic experience. My daughter and I were recovering from recent unplanned surgery and Whispering Valley was the perfect place for uninterrupted rest. Cabin was exquisit. We had everything we needed. Emily loved the donkeys. The bushwalks were beautiful. We played monopoly and scrabble for hours. Cute little possum to watch at night. Our son climbed a huge tree. No electronics. Just the TV for a couple of quiet movies. Kids got back to nature. Perfect retreat. We will definately be coming back. Thank you so much.

Great place to retreat to. Quiet, peaceful. Loved the log fire.
