Friendly staff with good vibes. Lovely clean updated room. Great facilities for the kids that were clean and well looked after. Good prices at the pool bar for alcohol, coffees and ice cream. Buffett breakfast was great and had a good variety. Can’t wait to bring the kids back again!

Everything is standard until your car gets vandalised in their secure carpark! They ghost you, they ghost the police, they ghost everyone. Very suspicious. Lots of cameras but they won't show the footage. Very suspicious. What are they covering up? What are they hiding? Very rude from the moment something is wrong. They just want you out the door. You ask "can you call the police as this is trespassing and vandalism? ". They look at you as if you weren't speaking english. Absolutely shocking. Avoid. High crime area.

This is how a $36 steak and vegetables is delivered to a hotel room that costs $449 per night. Absolutely pathetic. It’s like I’m in prison… so much for the glitzy Oaks experience. Looking forward to the chat with a manager that will go nowhere…

Overpriced, had to call reception to get housekeeping to come and change the sheets had stains on them, parking terrible, so confusing coming in and out of resort, arrows on wrong side, really unsafe, fridge smelt mouldy, bathroom had not been cleaned and had pubic hair all over the floor, when we first arrived two staff members were carrying a piece of the roofing as it had fallen down, wires exposed and the mess it had created was left on the floor it was still there when we checked out. Cords and wires exposed. Not a 4, 5 star resort, would never go back so disappointing Save your money the room smelt like bad BO. No hot water for the showers, absolute dump. No fly screen on windows, had to open the windows to get rid of the rotten stench in the room, but had mozzies coming in from no screen on windows. Was expecting alot more with it being the oaks chain will never return, massively overpriced, stay elsewhere, don’t waste your money on this 1/2 a star resort it’s a huge dive.

Cheese pizza is not on the menu, however, they made the best cheese pizza ever when asked ask. It was awesome.

Had a great experience in 2020 but this time has been crap. We asked for a certain room as we have small kids and can’t be too high and the give us the highest room. The room we asked for was empty the day after we arrived but apparently it’s too much work for the cleaners! Hoping to check out early.

The food and service at the Reflections restaurant is exemplary. Hidden gem at the Oasis. Hope more locals come and visit, give more value to the food that the chef prepares. The service is much better than the last time I visited.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. Always fun for the kids, beds are comfy. Looking forward to returning to here again done the track.

Awesome place to take the kids and enjoy a cold bevy while doing some laptop work in holiday style. ✌ Will definitely be planning more trips like this in the future. 💚

1. Air con not working properly, no fans in the room so forced to open windows. No fly screens so ofcourse we were eaten alive my mozzies.
2. No kitchen or kitchenete so no drinking water. Forced to drink water from the bathroom taps. Not even a microwave to cook popcorn for the kids to eat while watching their movies (especially sucked since watching the TV was the only thing to do inside beisdes sleep)
3. No fans in bathroom made the toileting situations STINK. (Did I mention the only drinking water was the taps in that same bathroom? 🤮)
4. No hot water for the showers all weekend really sucked!
5. The end of the second hallway stunk really bad like wet old carpet.
6. The spa is only good during the day when the sun is hitting it hard. As there is no temperature control, so it is not warm enough at night.
7. Playground was closed due to maintance.
8. Very expensive to stay there and forced into paying for lunches, dinners and drinks makes for a very expensive weekend.

Mixed review.
I would recommend purely for kids only. A few days, not any longer. Otherwise I wouldn't.
Unfortunately the restaurant on site was absolutely disgusting. The food was honestly terrible. We had credit we were forced to use during this stay otherwise we loose so we had to continue spending money there. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. Food was stodgy, bland and burger drenched in fat. Restaurant staff were really lovely though I couldn't fault them at all.
Waterpark was fab for kids, they loved it! There needs to be further renos of some of the waterpark as it was hazardous. It seems majority has been renovated but parts in the corner need further attention. Toilet facilities around the waterpark were awful, this definitely needs some attention. Mini golf was great too!
We were not advised the kids park was closed, it would have been nice to be told upon arrival. Receptionists weren't overall helpful knowing we had young kids.
We had the 2 bedroom villa, highly recommend. However there's no covered areas to sit outside unless you want to sit in the driveway. Air con needs a service, it started leaking water multiple times on the carpet. Judging on the carpet it has been doing that for a while.
Overall, it was a good stay. Close to the shops and great for kids. I wouldn't stay if you don't have kids.
Theres definitely room for improvement given it is quite pricey to stay there.

Great facilities for families and couples, highly recommend for 1 or more nights. Children enjoyed the waterpark, putt putt, big bounce, trampoline, pool and heated spa. Bar at the waterpark and at the pool. Restaurant was great and the ground floor suite was clean and tidy.

Was quite expensive for an overnight room, and had to pay extra for kids to go to waterpark. And the hours of park opening were very restrictive. Little disappointed with that.

Great resort for kids, but be warned “not great” during school holidays due to the sheer number of kids. If you want a peaceful, serene getaway, go somewhere else. Overall, great location, walking distance to beaches, shops and restaurants including Zarraffas for a decent coffee. Our executive king room was clean and adequate for our needs. I thought the room a little expensive for what it was, but it is a long weekend. Book direct for the best rates. The restaurant and food are ok (not great) staff are great but the menu is very limited.

Restaurant menu states ALL kids meals comes with either hot chips or veggies, we went for dinner and ordered 3 kids meals and all came without. When we asked the man in charge he said “some, not all meals come with it” — well you need to change your menus then because that’s not what it says! Another time we came for breakfast and the waitresses were rude and grumpy when I told them we’d need a table for 16, it was just before 9am and breakfast wasn’t due to finish til 9:30 — understandable there was a lot of us but we still came in time but felt uncomfortable and as if we were a burden — there was not one other person in restaurant at the time as well so you would think they’d be happy to make some money. Free Wi-Fi did not work when we entered room number it said “room number does not exist”. We also booked months in advance and only the week before were informed our Nans room had been given to “government officials” so she couldn’t join us on our trip — only to arrive and see half of the resort was being occupied by people in quarantine for COVID. If we had known we wouldn’t have even come.
And we weren’t interested in going to the waterpark because it was cold and windy but wanted to go to the balloon and putt putt area, it was really stupid that you couldn’t use the gate to enter directly to that area, you have to go through the actual waterpark — so we had to walk past there with our babies in their prams and we all got wet which was really silly.

Accommodation and food were amazing. The staff were very helpful. Beautifully appointed gardens and surrounds. We will certainly return.

This is advertised as a resort but doesn’t tell you what they DONT have. No room service, no room cleaning during your stay. No one to help with luggage on arrival. No staff here at night to deal with problems.
The bathroom is filthy.
Beds are hard, lumpy and uneven. I actually didn’t sleep at all. The shower heads push the water out so fast it hurts the skin. The staff lie and are not helpful at all. I was told over the phone that they had facilities that they don’t. If she had been honest I would not have come here. And once here the staff lied to my autistic son that directly caused the meltdown that is still happening a day later.
We are actually here right now and are thinking of cutting the holiday short because this place sucks. But the staff wouldn’t know because they are no where to be found.

We had a room booked and paid for in 3 months advanced to receive a phone call on our way to say they didn’t have a room available for us. No explanation was given and the girl that called was rude and even tried to place the blame back on us. We were very upset as this was weekend booked away with other families for a birthday surprise to my partner. We asked for her to call us back as they were “willing to work with us” to come to some kind of compensation, however we didn’t hear back from them.
Very disappointing after months of looking forward to getting away to not even get a return phone call.

We checked in today my son was straight to the waterpark. Staff are friendly nothings an issue great place to stay with family.

The place is very clean and busy and kid friendly. They have a water park, adventure park beach volley ball, tennis, mini golf and on site parking. Also had a restaurant and bar on site. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help.

A very relaxing place with all you need. If not shops and beach are close by. Top spot.

Great family hotel/resort. We stayed mid June, luckily the weather was pretty good. Spacious Rooms, comfy beds. Plenty do there with waterpark, playgrounds a jumping pillow and mini golf, the restaurant was good aswell and with kids eat free was a bonus. Close to beach, shopping centre across the road. Good cafes and restaurants weren’t to far away either.

Great family resort with so much for the kids to do. So clean, modern and fresh. Will visit again.

Rooms were very clean but bar staff (one guy in particular) was very rude and abrupt.
Every thing in the resort closed at 9.00pm on a Saturday night. The information leaflet states the resort facilities open till late. On our check out I mention this to the receptionist and her response was “it’s a small town” Very disappointing.

Close to shops and beach. Overall a great weekend had. Planning to go back again next year.

We spent a couple of nights here and had a wonderful time. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and pleasant and the beds were comfortable. The food at the restaurant was excellent and staff were very friendly. Mr 7 very much enjoyed the pool, water play area, inflatable pillow and putt putt golf. We extended our stay by a night as we just didn’t want to leave.

We had an amazing stay! Super kid friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Oaks Oasis is hands down a hotel that you must experience! It's family friendly, with heaps for the kids to experience. Theres the water park that will have the little kids laughing and splashing the day away. There's also trampolines and a little kids park. For the bigger kids there's a jumping area, putt putt, beach volley ball and tennis. The buffet breakfast has all you need, great food, great atmosphere. Across the road is a shopping centre and Dan Murphy's. It's close to all shops, great location. We will be definitely be coming back. Thank you so much!

We stayed in three bedroom Villa which opens to the Resort pool at the back. Dedicated parking. Professional staff. The restaurant is top notch with takeaway facility. Salt water pool and spa. Kids water park makes the Resort family friendly.

Check in was a breeze! All the staff have been very helpful, special shout out to Melissa in the restaurant, everytime I saw her during my stay she was run off her feet and still had a positive friendly attitude, she was extremely attentive and went above and beyond for us more than once. Give that woman a day off and a pay raise! Restaurant meals were all on point and had that fresh feel to them. Kudos to the Chef/kitchen team. Cleanliness in our room is top notch. Kids facilities are fantastic. The whole layout of this place is very nice and laid back. We consider the price of a stay to be quite reasonable for all the facilities we get to use as a family. Will definitely stay again when we come to the sunshine coast.

Quite a big resort with nice gardens/grounds to enjoy. Nice and clean. The rooms are clean with basic facilities. 1/2 hour of free Wi-Fi is pretty poor. Excellent children's facilities including large heated splash park, playground, giant trampoline, mini golf and tennis court. Good buffet breakfast however dinner meals are hit and miss. Great location. Very close to local attractions. Minutes walk to the beach. The resort did find me an available room when I arrived earlier than check in.

Amazing experience just for two nights. Price was reasonable too. Would stay here again. The spa and pool is great too. Also a water park for the kids. Trampolines. Bar restaurant. Amazing best hotel I've ever stayed at. Room was immaculately clean.

My initial experience with an employee (seemed to be a manger) put me off on the first day. I was looking for a Car park close to the rooms to offload my bags when an employee came running over telling me where I parked was in the way of his personal car park. Not offering Options on how to get my bags to my room… just go park in the nearest car park a few football fields away possibly… his focus seemed to be to get me out of the way so that he could get his car in there. Wifi was terrible and not accessible from all rooms (check the 600 block). If anyone is roaming from overseas be sure you have a good data roaming plan. Does the customer come first here? That’s open for discussion.

Beautiful grounds, clean modern rooms, helpful friendly staff and I wanted to take the bed home with me! Very reasonable priced from the resort it's self. I fully intend to stay there next time.

Mixed reviews from this family. Stayed 2 nights with our grandsons. The water park was the best by far in the entire hotel. But with young children not being allowed to take your own snacks into this area is just plain crazy or rather money making! Only opening from 9-5 as it’s winter hours in Queensland is also dumb. Kids wake early but can’t acces Park or even the playground area til 9. Rather hard when they up from 6am. Staff at reception needed a lesson in customer service. And the restaurant needs a big lesson in how to treat customers. The nicest staff member was the lady on duty in the water park. We decided to try this resort out as we have driven past numerous times on our travels to golden beach but won’t be back. Will continue to go to our usual resort in future.

Great venue for families. Huge water park for kids. Putt-putt golf, climbing structures and trampolines. For adults there is a large swimming pool and good sized spa. A bar near the pool and adjoining restaurant. Reasonable priced rooms are very tidy.

Kids zone is fantastic but needing maintenance (cracked plastic on slides etc) and rooms and grounds were quite clean and well maintained but the room had a really funky smell stains on the carpet. We also tried the food from the restaurant it was ordinary at best. Not sure this place would get a second chance. Kids will love it. The parents will see all the flaws.

Nice resort, clean bedrooms upon arrival and a lovely restaurant within the resort. Kids playground is great. Four stars due to no room (cleaning) service and the parking lots are too narrow, our car got few dents while we were there.

Many resort style places have a niche that they cater to, Oaks caters to families with family friendly lodgings and activities to keep the kids busy. The water park and playground facilities are perfectly fine however appear to have been neglected with no maintenance or upkeep directed at them barring emergency repairs. You would think that a resort that markets itself on this niche market would ensure that its niche is maintained, rather than providing such a poor display to guests. The rooms were perfectly fine although further money saving efforts appear to have been expended with daily towel and cleaning services cut back, although no change in messaging within the rooms resulting in a call to reception for fresh towels after following the directions within the room. The kids will love the place and have a great time, however per the above might be a different story for the adults.

The resort was excellent. Good facilities for the family. The water park was excellent, staff friendly, food good quality. The only downside is the resort is starting (only very minor) to look a bit worn out. However this didn't effect our stay.

My daughter and I had wonderful weekend getaway. The kids waterpark is fabulous. For the kids AND adults. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I could fault on is that the vent in the bathroom needs to be cleaned regularly. Ours was full of dust and dirt. Minor really compared to a stressed out Mum who has come away feeling rejuvenated. Thanks Oaks Oasis.

Room was clean and tidy. A little too big for a 1 night spare of the moment thing. We are at the restaurant which was nice, it took a long time for food to come out, they weren't that busy at 8pm. The "entree" came out at the same time as the main. Defeats the meaning of "entree". The Neal's were nice however would have been better if the cook hadn't tripped with the salt. The gravy on the pork dish was like they had melted a jar of Vegemite and poured it over the meal. But other than that it was nice to get away.

We stayed here with our family beginning of 2017. What a great time we had. I'm not sure who had more fun in the water the adults or kids. Fantastic water park. And so handy to everything around it. Would love to bring the family back here again. Everyone had such a great time. Maybe next time the boys will bring there scooters for the track.

Quite disappointed really. Heard a lot of good things about this place.
We stayed for 3 nights in a two bedroom apartment, police were there twice in as many days attending to neighboring disputes. The food in the restaurant was a small selection of over priced meals, not that you would want to eat there as the decks are covered in duck and bird poo. There are 0 staff to be seen around, 0 cleaners to be seen, and 1 bar tender. Over priced drinks and a small selection of cocktails. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The only thing oaks oasis has going for it is the kids water park which can only be accessed between 9-6, which also doesn’t make sense in summer when it’s hot and sunny from 6am/7pm. Not good at all.
Also we took some kabana and cheese pool side only to be told it’s not allowed.
Try telling a 4 yr old and 6 yr old they can’t have snacks while swimming. Poor.
We go away 4 times a years normally to paradise resort Gold Coast thought we’d give oaks a go. Never again.

Absolutely fantastic resort with awesome kids facilities. Lovely hotel room and friendly staff. We all enjoyed our dinner, delicious lamb cutlets and steak. Buffet breakfast was great too. Have stayed here twice now and will definitely be back.

Stayed the night with twins. Hotel room very clean and a good size. Water park and main pool where very good. Kids loved the water park. They play a movie at night for the kids. Would definitely go back again. Happy for the adults was from 1630-1730. $4.50 beer and wine.

Awesome rooms, double Queen beds, large bathroom and plenty of space. Although a kettle, coffee and tea were provided, there wasn't really a sink (used the bathroom shower) to fill up the kettle and wash dishes afterwards. Large pool area and decent restaurant, however no gym on site. Great location next to the beach though!

The accommodation was very well cleaned prior to our arrival, with all of the beds made and the bathrooms were spotless. The small sheet of instructions regarding the operation of the heating/cooling system was simple and easy to understand without much effort. The supplied breakfast was fantastic and had a wide selection including bacon, mushrooms and pancakes.

Really lovey atmosphere all around. The breakfast and dinner at Restaurant was great. Children's play area and water park brilliant. Will be coming back again. Staff there went out of their way to help where ever they could.

The room was nice and clean. I was a little disappointed that there was only one LITTLE round soap in the room. Most hotels I've stayed in have at least one bar of soap for the shower and one for the sink. I stayed the night there with another adult and there was only one bath mat as well. My biggest complaint is that the air con wasn't working properly. It seemed to be locked at a certain temperature. I tried to make it cooler in the room but it never got very cool. I woke up in the morning very sweaty. I don't believe I would stay here again, especially not in the hotter times of the year. I would expect to be able to cool the room till it was comfortable for myself, considering how much money I spent for the room. Very disappointed.

The resort is stunning and the restaurant onsite services stunning meals. I didn't travel with children and enjoyed the resort. However, if I had young children, they would have loved the facilities as well.

We hosted our Dad’s 70th here. The staff were fantastic and saved the day with the rain setting in. We also stayed here — rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. We chose this place not knowing much about it, mostly based on the activities for kids. They loved it! This place is a real winner for families. Thanks again Oaks staff and Narelle!

Stayed here in July by myself for a week of R&R. Accommodation was great. Comfortable bed, big bathroom with a proper shower! I stayed in the lead in studio (no kitchenette) which was great but I did wish I’d had booked the kitchenette for the extra cost because after a few nights a microwave would have been super handy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend hiring the bikes they have. I went for a big ride on my last day along the boardwalk which was bit harder than I thought. But lovely. The restaurant was great. Beautiful food. The pool and spa looked good but didn’t use (didn’t have time really). Location is good but slightly out of town center. But if you have a car or you’re happy to walk it’s no issue. Woolworths is just across the road and aldi is around the corner. Would definitely stay again!

Definite go for family with kids. Great atmosphere for kids. They love the outdoor play areas and water park. You got to have a booking with the hotel to enjoy facilities. They often have special offers for Australia Zoo and special rates for the hotel. Book on the hotel website for the best offer.

The staff were lovely. The restaurant food was great, I had the crispy skin salmon, it was cooked to perfection. My husband ate the king prawn and chorizo aranici, it had great flavour. Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious. The kids adventure zone is fabulous our girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our only negative feedback was the large adults pool area looked tired with the pool deck needing repainting. Apart from that The gardens were lovely and well maintained. The maintenance man was so lovely, helped fix our room safe, always smiling when we saw him around the resort. Will definitely be staying here again!

Never again will my family and I stay at this resort. We had a sick child. Ask for sheets to be changed on bed, we come back from a swim to find new sheets piled on bed for us to change. And dirty ones still in bathroom. The staff at pool kiosk were friendlier than that of oaks staff. You can't even take biscuits or snacks into pool area for babies or children as you have to purchase them there.

We stayed some time back when they were refurbishing the older units. First the toilet cistern started overflowing after flushing. We called reception and they just gave us extra towels to mop up with. I managed to stop it overflowing myself, but everytime it flushed it started overflowing again. The noise of the renovation works was terrible. The air con broke that night and it was drinking hot. The dust from the renovations set off my sinus, and I got sick. After 2 horrible days we checked out of the place, and went somewhere else. Enjoy had booked 5 days! We write to the hotel. All they offered was 2 nights in the same resort. No way. I'll never stay at any of the oaks again.

Still waiting on my $200 bond I paid for the rock over a week later. Should be worth $225 by now. Otherwise a good place to stay.

We just got a cheaper room with bathroom to stay in while we were out exploring! Was clean, comfortable and great for the price. Water park was fun for hubby and baby, paid laundry facilities available, not far from town, supermarket close by and beach is also very close also.

Oaks Oasis is a wonderful resort. We enjoyed a fantastic 3 night stay in a king studio. Dining at reflections for dinner was lovely but the buffet breakfast was amazing. Great value too.

Nice spot. Really close to everything you need. The staff are friendly and the rooms clean and in good condition. We'd heard the the breakfast wasn't great but we tried it anyway and it was good. I've certainly paid more for worse. If it isn't included in your room book the night before. Get there early as it gets busy. The water park, golf course etc are great. The water is heated so even if the weather isn't hot there's still fun to be had.

Newly renovated rooms looks great. Unfortunately shower doesn't run very hot. Handicap able bathroom which I'm surprised they don't advertise more prominently.

When they say minimalist rooms they mean it! Very clean but no toaster and a bit too bland. Air con can't keep up very well, takes hours for the room to cool down. The outdoor facilities were fantastic for both kids and adults, which is what this resorts really offering. Would be ideal if you were planning to be out all day and evening and you were happy eating at the on site restaurant (limited menu). Over all stay was ok, but not extremely memorable.

Disgusted to say the least I drove 45 minutes with my 2 five yr old sons unaware the park was closed to the public today (when a whole 6 people were using the grounds) I was rudely asked to leave before I could call reception and ask to pay an entry fee which I did and she replied "yeah na"… then a staff member took it apon herself to approch one of my sons and told him to remove himself from the park as hes not allowed to be their… my son came running to me in tears so upset he had done somthing wrong this place was an absolute traumatic experience for my children and I was apauled with the staff and how they managed a small miss communication issue… thanks for that guys won't be seeing us again!

Upon arrival the keys to the door were not working. The door jammed my child's fingers because there was no door stoppper. No guest car park at the reception entrance so people parked right at the door and blocked the traffic. I would not go back there again!

Great water park. Everything worked. Overall great stay. Only thing was our keys to our room expired for no reason. Meant a trip to the reception while we were wet from swimming.

Big plus was waterpark. Kids loved it. Only reason that makes this standout from any other hotel. Buffet breakfast was up to standard. Meals at night were overpriced but were excellent quality. A/C was absolutely useless was hot at night after running 24/7 still could not get it down to reasonable temp. Fix the A/C and I'd probably give 5 star.

Rooms where great. Large, clean, big comfortable bed and large walk in shower. Great facilities and my kids absolutely loved the water park which is ideal for little ones as it has nothing too dangerous. There's also mini golf, tennis courts, volleyball and a putting green. The food is reasonable. The bar does shut really early which is the only bad point.

Very nice and not very expensive. The rooms are spacious and design. The children's water park is superb but is only open from 9am to 5pm. Only downside: The system for Internet access is to be reviewed.

Staying here now at peak rates. Great water park but main pool quite small for size of resort. 3 bedroom villa only average. Split system AC downstairs, can go down past 24 and barely filters into bedroom downstairs (quite warm) Upstairs AC in main bedroom with only a double and TV behind door so can't really be seen (absolutely stupid position) where the third bedroom has a King, no AC and extremely hot. Villa has a vomit smell within it, fridge leaks water, very few kitchen utensils and cutlery. Wouldn't come back at $500 night. Friendly staff, convenient location.

Very family focased, great water park kids loved it! Nice included breakfast, good value before Christmas would recommend.

This is a very nice, family orientated place to stay at Caloundra. There is always plenty happening in Caloundra and with about 5 beaches to choose from you will have no trouble finding somewhere to go fishing or take the kids for a swim. When they have had enough of the beach, take them back to the fantastic water park within the Oaks Oasis, nice big rooms, extremely helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be staying there again.

Excellent experience, highly recommended. I had the option to stay in Brisbane, but instead opted to see a colleague in Caloundra. I stayed at the Oaks which was at a great off-season rate. The staff, in particular Michelle, were incredible — coming in from Melbourne, she stayed after hours to ensure I got my room key and allowed me to check in in the morning. On my way out, she came in early to make sure I caught my ride to the airport, and even arranged the cab. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable, and took two swipes to enter — one foyer door, then my room door, making the 'motel' layout feel hotel secure. Excellent. Highly recommended. Walking distance to the beaches and downtown.

Easily a 5 star, modern rooms, comfortable beds, massive TV. Friendly staff, and a decent restaurant in the resort. Short walk to Stockland, and Bulcock Street where all the shops are.

Was great for the kids restaurant was good too location across from supermarket.

It was a clean and modern facility.

What a pleasure it was to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms. We would recommend it to anyone else and we don't do that with too many places we have stayed.

We had an awesome time. Still refurbishing and making this resort better. They are building a water park next door and should be open soon.
