Big rooms, amazing views, great service and convenient location.

Me and my husband stayed here for 18 nights over Christmas and New Years Eve 2019/20. Everything was splendid organized from delicious breakfasts to fantastic approach when it comes to service and very good suites. Very nice guests that also gave us interesting conversations with people from all over the world during the breakfast at the balcony with the awesome and the attendant view, impressive.
Finally, Jackie you are the best, THANK YOU.

Can not fault this wonderful place! Beautiful decorated, relaxing, clean and tidy, everything you need for a getaway so close to Mooloolaba, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Joe and Jackie could not do enough to make our stay special. Thank you!

Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience with this accommodation. I phoned the owner Joe, who advised that the best way to book was to email him directly. We booked into the only available spa suite at Arabella, known as the Tea Tree Suite. Joe confirmed we were booked into this room, sent a confirmation email and we paid a deposit. We were happy our Christmas accommodation was sorted… or so we thought. A couple weeks later, Joe emails and advises that he has just sold …our room on the booking site Expedia "… from before and after your dates". Whilst he refuted it, we suspect he wanted a longer booking (despite us booking first). He said it was a mistake but then refused to cancel the later booking. He initially offered an alternative lower quality room which didn't meet our requirements, but after phoning to clarify the situation, Joe got extremely angry and cancelled our booking and said he wouldn't ruin his reputation with Expedia. He was more than happy to leave us stranded for the Christmas Holidays. He even threatened to sue for defamation if we left a poor review. We thought we were doing him a favour by booking direct to save him booking fees — guess we learnt our lesson. Be very careful when booking at this guest house or you may end up stranded.

Can't say anything bad about this place. The place is gorgeous with beautiful furnishings. Our suite (Tea Tree) was fantastic with such an incredible bathroom with large double sink vanity, deep spa, huge shower, and the bed was very comfortable. Service was fantastic. Lounge was very cosy with the fireplace. Deck looked out over lovely views. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the ginger fruit salad — YUM. Thank you so much, we had the most amazing stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Good location, beautiful rooms, fantastic service and reasonably priced.

TLDR: Worth a stay — a place with character where you feel comfortable that includes a tasty breakfast. I have never described something as having 'character'. That is, until now. Do you remember the hunter from the original Jumanji movie? I feel that if he had a reading room, it would be exactly like the one at Arabella Guesthouse. :D The suites themselves are akin to master bedrooms; with their own little private balcony, bathroom and bedroom, with a shared living/dining kitchen space. Upstairs has three suites with disability access, downstairs has an additional two (without). The three upstairs are Tea Tree, Palm and Pandanus suites. The breakfast was delicious, with my favourite being the little pieces of Buderim crystalised ginger mixed into our fruit bowel. It was so tasty! If you need to stay in Buderim/Mooloolaba, make it a memorable one and stay here.

Just beautiful! Our room was spacious and spotless! Our door lead to a massive deck with amazing views of the coast line. Our hosts were just lovely, attention to detail was nailed! Such a quiet, cool, relaxing haven only 10mins away from the hussle and bussle of mooloolaba. Thanks for our relaxing stay, we will be back! … without the kids again!

The owner Jo went out of his way to accomodate me even after a late check in after hours. The unit was amazing. Tastefully furnished. Very classy. Very neat. Very good value for money. The breakfast was fantastic. The best I have ever experienced during my travel. Highly recommend. Great service and great views and great staff. Rick.

This place was sooo good. Joe the owner and Jackie the housekeeper are the best. The view is amazing. The reading room upstairs is fantastic. Great homey atmosphere and you don't feel trapped in your room.

Easy to come back to. Comfortable settings, welcoming and unobtrusive hosts and breakfast served daily. From the reading room to the deck overlooking Mooloolaba, the luxury bedrooms and fantastic bathrooms, it's all here for a relaxing stay or a quality base for exploring the coast.

Warm service and charming guest house that feels like home. Only two minor things: the bathroom was not overly clean and the room was quite dusty which didn't help my allergies. Also, breakfast could have been a little better quality given the price paid per night for this accommodation. Only minor though — keep up the good work!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Arabella Guest House in Buderim. I stayed in the Tallowood Suite and my best friend stayed in the Silverbirch Suite. We stayed there the night before my wedding, and I was so impressed with the loveliness of the guest house. I had been living in Buderim for 20 years and had never known about this little gem! The décor throughout the large house, over multiple levels, was immaculate and welcoming. The interior is plush, yet comfortable, beautiful and very clean. And the views are stunning! I had the best sleep in my gorgeous, comfortable bedding. Joe the owner was so wonderful to communicate with leading up to our stay, and very hospitable. We had complete privacy during our time there and the lady who organised our beautiful continental breakfast upstairs was pleasant and warm, and not intrusive. I have only beautiful things to say about my time at Arabella Guest House, and I am looking forward to staying there again! Definitely 5 star luxury guest house, yet affordable. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay!

Great spacious room with beautiful rooms. Breakfast is basic but tasty and the coffee is pretty good. Very clean and would stay again.

This guest house is a level like I have never experienced in Australia. The attention to detail, the amazing service and the easy comfortable feeling of the place. Joe the owner could not have helped us more. I will definitely be back.

The service at Arabellas is 5 star. The room was lovely and the food amazing.
