Highly recommend this resort. Rooms were fresh and clean, staff were friendly and thoughtful. The food was amazing! I had the same breakfast twice because it was so delicious (avocado medley) and the chicken carbonara is a must have! Pool area looked lovely, a bit too cool to swim, great shallow area for the kids. We have 3 kids and the family room had ample space, pretty much two rooms joined together. The grassy area outside with patio was a bonus that we loved about this resort. Will definitely be back if we are down this way again.

Meals were delicious & well cooked. Hubby's steak was tender and cooked correctly medium/ wd. I had grilled salmon & salad. Very nicely cooked. Staff were attentive & polite. Would recommend to friends.

Nothing but praise from the clean large rooms to the mouth watering food and the friendly professional staff I highly recommend this place for a night away or for a fantastic meal

I do not recommend this place for parents of young children. On our arrival, our door was beeping constantly. The owner attended our request for help. It could not be fixed straight away. He asked if we were okay to have it stay beeping all night and have it fixed the following day. We were hoping it could be fixed, but didn't want to be rude so we agreed that it could wait and we would be okay putting up with it beeping through the night. We love staying at Korte’s when we come into town! It’s quiet, always exceptionally clean the owner is lovely and the prices are great! Rooms are super comfy too.

10/10 customer service from Adrienne, he was so friendly and has excellent customer service skills which made our night out for dinner just fantastic. The food was amazing too! Thank you.

After travelling for two weeks stopping at five other cities, the staff and service at Korte’s were the highlight of the trip. The dinner at the restaurant was first class. Icing on the cake was the great swimming pool too. Highly recommend for so many reasons. Thank you for such a personal, friendly stay. We will actually miss you all. Take care.

We stayed here in August for my sisters wedding. Amenities were excellent & the rooms were very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was beautiful. Great location.

Amazing place to stay. We pulled in late — no booking — staff were really helpful. Room was lovely — comfy beds, large good shower, no road noise. Restaurant was great too — they even held the kitchen open for us. Pity it was a one night stay but if you need a place to stay in Rocky I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

Went to Korte’s for dinner last night and the food was just amazing. Value for money but the quality was excellent. Good atmosphere and service as well. Thanks for a great night. We’ll be back.

Kortes Resort has a welcoming atmosphere. It is spacious, beautiful decor, relaxing with super friendly, attentive staff. This with a comprehensive menu and quality food! Love it.

A huge thanks to Kortes Resort and especially too Lyn she did a amazing job at turning a room inside beautiful due to weather at last minute and we couldnt use the deck. Our wedding was amazing the ceremony and reception the service was exceptional and the food was amazing we couldnt fault Kortes Rockhampton at all!.

Wonderful service from the moment we arrived! Staff were very friendly and we even received a complimentary late checkout. Modern, clean accommodation and a huge resort-sized pool for the kids. Beds are super comfy. We also loved the bonus of kangaroo spotting from our front patio. We will definitely be back!

Second time there and the rooms are spotless and the service is excellent, even when they were short staffed they still accommodated are requests for different food which wasn’t on the menu. Highly reccomend.

We stay Korte’s every time we travel through Rockhampton. The best customer service, great facilities, relaxing resort style pool and bar. Well appointed modern rooms. Bill is a legend! Thanks Korte’s.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and they have a great music playlist in the restaurant. Extremely comfortable and clean modern rooms that feel a little like home. The gardens and lake are beautiful, very much an oasis in Rockhampton.

Had the pleasure of staying at Korte's Resort as a guest for a wedding. All I can say was the whole package was absolutely beautiful. Great food, venues and the rooms are big and roomy and very comfortable. All the gardens are just beautiful and the area by the pond is perfect for weddings. Congratulations Korte's on such a wonderful place to either stay in accommodation or just having a meal in the restaurant area.

This resort is exceptional. The room we had was as good as the photos with quality linen and beds, block out curtains that provide for a good nights sleep and large soft towels. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The gardens are well maintained and beautiful. Highly recommended.

I have been here twice now for dinner and the food was delicious and service was great. It is a really nice setting where the kids can swim and you can have a really nice meal. It is great to not have to head into town for a nice meal.

Nice and comfy rooms. A little bit of a drive out of Rockhampton, however it makes it a nice and quiet place to stay.

Arrived here on Sunday for a two night stay and was impressed by the staff, room and the meal we received that night. Very friendly and accommodating. Was quickly taken back when we had a meal in the restaurant on the second night. My partner ordered the prawn and chorizo pasta and I had the chicken carbonara. These meals were very, very disappointing. The staff were understanding but there was no offer of a refund or meal replacement for the poor efforts on the kitchens behalf. Has put a very big dampener on a very nice stay.

Very clean modern rooms. It has a great restaurant with a nice view of the pool. It's very convenient to the highway but has no road noise.

This place is WONDERFUL, I stayed here for two nights on a work trip, the rooms are clean a great size, super comfortable beds, fantastic water pressure in the shower. The restaurant is one of the best I've visited in Rockhampton! Do yourself a favour and try the salmon on a wombok salad! I'm back next week and I'll be having it again! The service in the restaurant is wonderful and the staff are so friendly! 5Stars!

Absolutely the best place to dine in Rockhampton. Apart from the great menu selection, the food was brought out in record time, and tasted amazing. Plus the service was natural and friendly and just genuine. Will definitely be going back!

Comfy bed room nice. But was very hot day took room 2 hrs to cool down. We ended up going out till it cooled down.

My family and I frequent Kortes often as we are always made feel like part of the family, so what better place to have my daughters 12th birthday dinner and yet again was a great night out! My husband and I stayed at kortes last night, we have been to kortes many many times before and have throughly enjoyed it but have never stayed in the resort until last night. The room was amazing nice and clean felt like we were the first people to stay in the room since being built which is what one would expect, it was fabulous. The king bed was comfy and sheets were soft (unlike in most hotel/motels). Kortes only down fall of the time spent there was, check in is at 2pm and the restaurant closes at 2pm. We checked in and headed to our room got dressed and headed down for a swim. We would have absolutely loved being able to have some nibbles/starters eg, They have the most delish cheese and ham bread and some calamari to snack on whilst relaxing by the pool but I was sadly informed at the counter that the kitchen was now closed until 6pm and the only thing they had were packets of chips which wasn’t what we really wanted. We ended up having to drive down to woolworths and get some snack food to have back at the room which for me was such a disappointment. I later read in the guest book in the room that the restaurant is open 7am-10pm daily, so not quite sure what was happening yesterday.

Staff were friendly and accomodating and the food was lovely. The kids enjoyed the day in the pool and the adults a nice cold beer.

Stayed in the disability access suite. Was awesome. They have thought of everything. Biggest bathroom. They have even filled the gap between the front doorway and the ramp to the room so there is no lip to go over at all. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and different. Friendly staff that you will want to talk to! Beautiful gardens, pool, and restaurant / entertainment area makes you relax. SO affordable! We have found our place to stay in Rockhampton.

We booked last minute and they left the key for us at the door for self check-in. The run was really great and modern. We were pleasantly surprised. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. Only downside was that the Wi-Fi was really slow. We would stay here again.

Staff (other than one over zealous gentleman) were absolutely lovely. Unfortunately; food fell short of expectations and once the pool was too cool, there was nothing to entertain kids.
Kids meals with a 'greasy' salad but not enough carbs nor an option for veg meant we ended up having to feed them when we got home. There was no kids desert. $10 for a jug of softdrink?!?
Meals came out in dribs & drabs even though the restaurant staff held all the orders till we had all ordered.
My rare lamb rump was med-well and my partners med steak was rare but all the other adult meals were well cooked. Again. Vegies were coated in oil which was totally unnecessary and made them flavorless.
We have had a great time here in the past however have not ever stayed for a meal.

The staff and owners Bill and Lyn are amazing, help people can't do enough for you. Rooms are great in fact probably best in Rockhampton. Don't let the distance from town distracting you from staying here. They have everything you need and will only get better.

Excellent experience at Korte's Resort last night. We had a table of 15. The service was brilliant, very friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic. Best value "special" 300 gram rump I've experienced. Tender and cooked to perfection. I would very highly recommend a visit and meal at the very least!

Excellent stay. Was booked in for a week for work in the area, the staff were very helpful, and the rooms and parking laid out well. The attached restaurant has some great meal choices.

Kortes Resort ticks all the right boxes. The rooms are modern and clean whilst the beds are extremely comfortable. The gardens were interesting bursting with colour and pool inviting even though we visited in the cool season. Service was friendly professional and no fuss. All of this plus the fact that Kortes is discreetly positioned off the highway making it easy to depart for your next destination. We will definitely be recommending Kortes Resort to our friends and clients from now on.

Beware hidden prices — they charge $15 per night for a portacot (unusual in Australia) but don't advise you of this until checkout. Perhaps they do advise for pre-booked cots? They certainly didn't seem to care much when we pointed this out — not even an apology. Quite clean. Most staff were really lovely, particularly in the restaurant. The food was quite good. The pool was absolutely freezing! Even for kids from the south — but it is winter after all. No children's playground. The "family" adjoining rooms had a locked door between them when we arrived, and the (very nice) chap on reception was reluctant to come unlock it until I insisted in person — which was annoying with kids including a tired toddler. Adequate but not stand out.

A meal at this resort is a must for travelers and locals alike. The service is excellent and the menu is second to none. The resort grounds are recently landscaped and make the facility's surroundings appear lush, tropical and well-established. Dining is inside or outside and overlooks the resort pool where all are welcome to indulge in the tropical Queensland lifestyle. A la carte dining — a welcome addition to Rockhampton.

Fantastic service from a family owned and run newly built motel. Great facilities. King bed actually a king sized mattress! Lovely people and food.

Spent new years day here with some friends and had lunch. Had a great time and will visit again. Seemed fairly popular for a Sunday lunch. Comfortable atmosphere, we were in outside seating and the weather didn't help much. Outdoor fans and a reasonable breeze took the edge off. I had a rump steak which was cooked as ordered (medium) and came with a nice garden salad and hot chips. The Dianne sauce was one of the better ones I've had. The pool has several sunbathing lounges and good shade for onlookers. Swimming in the middle of the day with cloud cover was not a wise choice on my part though. Sunscreen saved me, but barely. Gardens have matured nicely since other online photos were taken. There are two rooms with high roofed parking areas for those with high vehicles, a Tesla charger (the first one in town I think) outside Room 505. The hotel is quiet with far less road noise than you would expect. It also appears to have a little pond area that could hold a small outdoor wedding. Plenty of parking outside the motel for any number of restaurant guests. There is a smoking area behind the gym as well.

Excellent service by the waiting staff, always have an eye on the guests to top up drinks or take away dishes. Meals were generous portions and reasonable value.
