Spectacular heritage decor. We felt like royalty sleeping in this room. Very clean and tidy. Lovely staff. Loved staying here.

The eighteen rooms available here are fabulous with amazing furniture and gorgeous high ceilings.
Staff are friendly and obliging. And the breakfast offerings will blow your mind and meet all palates.

Very disappointed with the hotel booked a room back in August and need to cancel but they will not refund any of the booking fee. Not a great experience at all. Be aware.

Such a lovely welcome and a gorgeous room, friendly staff who made us feel so welcome. Lovely comfortable bed, cannot recommend highly enough, so glad this is where we chose to stay, thankyou.

Breakfast was more than we anticipated and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Even though we were next to the railway our room was very quiet. Excited to come back for a longer stay. The most classic hotel you find in Rockhampton Nice and quiet location but still fairly close to Rocky CBD. And with the reasonable price you even have a buffet breakfast We are from Rocky just wanted a night to get out of our house. So glad we did.

A fantastic place to stay, with beautiful rooms in a magnificient heritage building. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Well priced and centrally located.

The rooms were amazing. I absolutely loved my stay here. The breakfast was a little uncomfortable with only 3 tables for all the guests. I would suggest maybe a bunch of 2 seater cafe style tables instead of 3 large ones.

Lovely building and massive room. Definitely know the items in their are antique given the smell. Would have been perfect weekend getaway if it was located in the country or on an estate.

A unique Rockhampton experience! A beautiful heritage hotel, across the road from the Great Western, and a short walk into town. Nice cooked breakfast included. So worth staying here, bring some earplugs, more for the nearby railway rather than the nearby hotel who were pretty good after 10pm.

Excellent rooms, service and staff. Not quite 5 stars as, being the old rail road HQ the big trains literally travel right past the hotel. Can be a bit noisy in this industrial area. Free buffet breakfast is a great perk. Small range with the important stuff (eggs, bacon, baked beans) including barista coffee. Could be a bit more creative and change menu around slightly during the week (pretty much the same meal every morning — bit boring when you stay the week). Would come back to stay.

Just had the valentine's deluxe spa room package and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfection and the spa bath was Devine. I was in total ore about how beautiful all the furniture was and how comfortable the room was. Also the location was prime for rockhampton. We also got to to have the buffet breakfast which was also amazing and we got so much variety. We will most deffently be staying here again.

We're staying here right now, room is beautiful and comfy, bonus with the bath robes! Winning! Though We are having some technical difficulties such as our spa isn't working but they happily accomodated, the DVD remote doesn't work properly but thats a minor things that could be rectified for the next occupant. The bed is soo damn comfy, I will still stay here again because it really is lovely and looking forward to breakfast! Update; breakfast was lovely :) makes staying extra special to wake up n smell bacon.

What a dump. I stayed Monday night, notice the room hasn't been cleaned. Water puddled in corner the whole time I stayed there, so told reception. Tuesday still not cleaned, Wednesday I went down to reception and browed clean gear and clean myself. What I thought where stains on the tiles came straight off. In other words never cleaned. I have photos of me cleaning with the mop and bucket. Then this morning at 6:33am reception not open, so I phoned the emergency number and someone sleepily answered, nothing they can do. Someone else was suppose to be there for the breakfast shift. 7:20 a staff member turns up and they have the hide to charge me full price for the room. I couldn't have breakfast that late I was meant to be in a work meeting at 7:30. So also no breakfast that is suppose to be included in the price. Yet still charged full price. Would recommend to anyone!

Great place to stay! service was really good too, and we were lucky enough to see a rodeo at the Great Western across the road.
