Friendly reception, clean and green campsites, modern showers and toilets, and a camp kitchen with the lot. Great place to stay and St George is a lovely town. Our site was a bit noisy closer to the main road but didn’t disturb our sleep.

Absolutely fantastic place that is very well maintained! The facilities are excellent and it is very obvious the owners take a lot of pride in their park! We will be back :)

We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed it. The park owner gave us so much information about things to see and do.

We had a long weekend at the park in June and loved it. Clean and great sized family cabins, friendly staff and plenty of room to move. We especially enjoyed the Saturday arvo Happy Hour the most we will definitely be back September holidays.

Quiet park that is close to town but still out enough to not have traffic noise. The staff are beautiful and nothing seems to be to much trouble. Note:

Full camp kitchen provided with toaster, gas pizza oven, kettle and microwave.

Plenty of space for caravans, friendly staff.

Great place to stay. We have stayed in the lovely cabins many times over the years. Staff are very welcoming & friendly. The self contained cabins are very comfortable & clean.

St George is a great stopover. Good clean park with sizeable sites. Rain very welcome but made it soggy underfoot and grass cuttings walked inside easily.

We love Pelican Rest. We have stayed here before and loved being here again. Old but immaculate amenities, dump point, artisian swimming pool — so good (when we were here last time — too cold this trip). Look forward to our next stay.

Absolutely love this place. I've stayed here several times now. The park is always spotless and the pool is a welcome sight after a long day of travelling. Highly recommend Pelican Rest Tourist Park.

Excellent caravan park, well set out, clean and modern facilities. It even has grass on most sites — which I wasn't expecting given the low annual rainfall of St George. Prices were reasonable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a lot to do in St George, we did the heritage trail, the self drive cotton tour, and also visited Nindigully pub for lunch — great experience.

Great spot for a quick off-road race weekend in swags free kitchen and fire place in centre and great showers best pressure in any hotel motel caravan park around.

Cabin was just a matchbox with the smallest bathroom possible. Hair in the fridge! Bathroom is badly designed with no room to turn, and I'm not a large person at all. Above toy sized sink there's cabinet and you wash your hands with your face nearly touching the cabinet. If you want to wash your face or brush your teeth then you have to carefully insert your head in the hole between sink and cabinet, and risk splitting your head on the sharp corners. Not to mention water goes all over the floor. Actually bathroom is so small you can wash your hands while sitting on the toilet! Towel rack is just beside the toilet so your bath towels conveniently brush by the toilet bowl. Face or hand towels not provided, only floor mat and bath towels. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash not provided, only soap. Another thing about bathroom — no hooks to hang your clothes on. Where exactly guests should put their clean clothes — on the floor or on the toilet lid? The rest of cabin was just as space deprived, with only one tiniest bed table. In the small towns like St George there's so much space and you guys could build big spacious rooms, just as your houses have! But anyway thanks for the lesson, next time I will drive past.

Well kept caravan park. Level large grass sites. Modern clean amenities. And best of all a fantastic pool area. Not far from the town center of St George frendly people. Stayed 6 nights.

Couldn’t meet a more miserable couple running that place kids not even allowed to jump into the pool told them off drive straight past if I were you.

Amazing clean cabins and even better comfy beds cant thank you enough for helping us out with getting our horse float full of furniture out of the rain in the shed amazing people and amazing place to stay thank you so much.

Perfect waypoint. Booked for 2 nights, stayed 5. Good large level grassed sites, clean modern amenities, friendly staff, topped off with a heated pool. Recommended if passing this way.

Stayed for 3 nights instead of usual one. Excellent drive thru sites with clean toilets and showers. Office staff were great. Recommend this place for a stop over or couple of days.

Stayed in an en-suite cabin Jun 2017. Very nice cabin, modern, spacious, clean, well equipped and set in a lovely park. Staff were excellent :-) Among the best.

A beautiful place with excellent staff! The self contained unit was lovely and definitely value for money. The caravan/campervan sites were beautifully divided by trees and the whole park had a very relaxing feel to it.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Amenities are very good, I liked the LED lighting. BBQ and Camp kitchen were good. Huge sites in a large van park. Very quiet and close enough to town. The only downside was there was nothing for Kids except room. Didn't bother us, we don't have any. Would highly recommend it.

One night stay, nice and quietest.

Stayed at the Pelican Rest last night, in one of their ensuite spa cabins, nice and clean very roomy, all cabins look to have brand new A/Cs very friendly staff, it will not disappoint.

We've not had a problem with the people at the park before. I think from owners response you can judge for yourself.

Very clean attractive, park best toilets ever seen in caravan park, every thing is great except the attitudes of the current owners, who seem to think it is there right to tell you when your lights must go out and how often you need to use the toilet : Flushing. Will never return with the current owners and I am a top tourist park member.
