I write this review laying in the luxury outdoor spa bath whilst looking up at the gorgeous palm trees that surround me here at Alaya Verde. My partner and I booked this trip as a romantic getaway and it has felt like a dream ever since we arrived. This little slice of paradise has everything you could ever imagine with our amazing host Duncan making us feel so welcomed and comfortable. The grounds have amazing wildlife and fresh produce which Duncan used to make our 5 star breakfast whilst we watched the sunrise over the treetops (ask for Duncan’s Tomatoes! ). The Gold Room is something out of a movie and did I already mention the outdoor spa bath! Our days have been spent in absolute luxury with short trips to the beach, nearby restaurants and relaxing massages. If it sounds like I am gushing, then I am! I could not recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast highly enough and would recommend it to anyone who is visiting the Sunshine Coast. We are already planning our next stay.
Who would think it’s possible to feel so relaxed within 24hrs… We just had the pleasure of a short one night stay at this truly wonderful place hosted by an amazing and inspirational couple, Gina and Duncan. Even though we could only stay the one night, we came home totally relaxed! Breakfast was also sensational! If peace, tranquility and quality is what you are after, then you have the perfect place right here! Thank you Gina and Duncan for making our short stay just perfect, see you soon, we will definitely be back.
