Bought over $70 of fish and chips tonight. Chips were not cooked and fish was allegedly fish, but definitely not Spanish mackerel and absolutely disgusting. Let’s not talk about the 45 min or so wait which I can’t understand given there was no one in the restaurant eating. Will not be getting fish and chips from there again. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend them.

The Bistro an Bar is a fantastic place to go for awesome and generous well priced food Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.
we had the best meals and also just chilled with beers on the patio.
the service from management an staff was simply the best.

Good was terrible n not fresh. Waited over an hour for dinner to be served. Definatly don't recommend.

The weather was poor the fish were poorer BUT the food here was magnificent the team great would recommend it to anyone try the spring roll loved The raffles Wednesday night.

Great service, villas are perfect for a weekend or longer stay. Lovely owners, great ratea. We will be back for sure.

Will never return. Our meals taken to wrong table was the start. Then wrong sauce on one meal. Then Raw chicken as per photo. Pube on my tomato and offered to re-plate it minus the pube or refund. Ran out of spaghetti bol topper so offered alternative and given boiled chicken wings soaked in Tabasco sauce. Manager tried to justify by saying it was all fresh chicken and no one in the kitchen has hair. Despite the fact we could see straight into the kitchen, where funnily enough, they all have hair. Do yourself a favor and just get maccas on the way in, or go to the lucinda point hotel. Also $10.50 for a Dagwood dog and chips kids meal? That’s more expensive than eating at the V8 Supercars. Disappointed is an understatement!

Service was great, meals were HUGE and sooo yummy! Great value for money. Will definitely be back when we're in Lucinda next!

The service was substandard and the salad was off and going to ask for more drinks appeared to be a hassle for them.

Good morning We had breakfast at your restaurant this morning the service seems to be okay but we were not happy with our Orders. As most of us had bacon and eggs for breakfast the toast wasn’t toasted it was just bread or lightly toasted. When it came to us it was cold as well and the bacon was undercooked as most of us like will put bacon. Plus we did ask for it also your coffee was not very nice as it was just coffee I think but anyway we were and satisfy customers hopefully you can improve your kitchen standard. And I’m writing this on behalf of all the ladies that were there at that time.

If you are craving half cooked chips, small meal portions, and meals costing more than the menu says, this place is for you! Should of eaten at the lucinda hotel instead.

Completely different food and service from last year. All I can say the food was awful along with the service and the attitudes that came with it. Won’t be back.

Best bangers & mash I've ever had! The Apple Pie was amazing, but make sure you get the Sticky Date Pudding too… the Butterscotch sauce was to die for! Great customer service from front of house staff, even had the chef ask how our dessert was. Legends! Highly recommend!

Poor customer service. Very slow, no time management for a not very busy night. The table next to us didn’t even receive one of their main meals. Upon asking for our meal as a takeaway, because of the wait, we were met with very rude staff. We did not receive our entire meal. Will not recommend and will not return.

After being stuck in the channel and Dunk Island for over 2 weeks, we decided to sail in to Dungeness… thank goodness! had a lovely meal in great surroundings at the Channel Inn bar and Bistro. Thank you a lovely time was had.

Continual poor food standards. Will not be back for food, fairly expensive for a basic pub menu. The staff that were on the day I went were not interested in any real customer service. The burnt offering my Wife had was clearly reheated, not very well presented and overpriced. I could go on, but there seems no point in doing so. On receipt of our compliant the waitress rolled her eyes and said nothing in the way of an apology. Ironically I once raved about the food and service.

Nice place to stay. Food has declined. Service is horrifically slow. Need more staff. Been then previous occasions a year ago and it was spot on. Waited 20 mins with no line up for one cappuccino! Dam shame.

Lovely resport owned by lovely people. Nice pool rooms clean with tea and coffee.

We stayed there a couple of years ago. Arrived later in the afternoon and booked in for just the one night. Spent time on patio enjoying the view with a cold drink. In the early evening we retired inside. It was at this stage we discovered there was no remote for the television and the smoke detector was hanging out of the ceiling with no batteries. We attempted on several occasions to contact owners but our messages were not returned. Office was unattended. Next morning upon checkout there was no real apologies offered for the nights inconvenience and apparent lack of concern with our safety. I informed owners that I would never return to their establishment.

What a great place. It was a very enjoyable experience, being able to go down to the inn after a days fishing. The beer was cold and the food was fantastic. Even with some of the out there requests.

Had a fantastic week staying in one of the houses the pub has a great atmosphere and the staff very friendly food was also very good the staff went out of their way to assist with anything we needed for our 10 month old boy.

Hinchinbrook Resorts is without a doubt the friendlyest and most helpfull place I have ever visited absolutely love going to and staying at this place. Ps they will help if possible.

The townhouse villas are very spacious and fully selfcontained… great for the family. The restaurant has delicious meals with good sizable portions. The restaurant staff are beautiful and friendly.

His own wife retreat. He was way better rooms than he would stay with the wife in tow.

We were very impressed with the service at the restaurant… we were told that there was only one person to serve our meals as well as serve drinks so we were prepared for a wait… we didn't gave to wait long before our heals were bought out and the wait staff were very pleasant. The meal was awesome and the drinks were cold. We stayed at the resort and everything we could of needed was there for us. The kettle didn't work but they were very quick to replace it after being told. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful place to visit rich with history of the South Sea Island sugar history contributions. And great people of the North to share stories with on the diverse cultures.

I've stayed a few times and used the minibus airport transfer. The apartments are very comfortable and the pool is huge and lovely. The pub has a nice atmosphere and very nice food and coffee. Most importantly, the staff is super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Hinchinbrook Resort.

Very comfortable. Stayed in 2 Bedroom self contained apartment. There is a nice pub next door too.

Great place. Nice and quiet.

For those that want a quite peaceful relaxing holiday this is the place to be.

Cosy cottage, fully self contained. Bring the RID as sandflies are on the chew dusk and dawn, but if you didn't expect biting insects at the mangroves edge, you aren't a Queenslander. Pool was magnificent, very peaceful.

Nice place for dinner. We had their $10.00 roast and it was OK for the price.

Our villa was beautiful, had everything we needed. Friendly staff that accommodated our family so well (especially our 5 year old). Good food, very cold beer, the cafe/shop was opened early so we could head out for a fish and it was well stocked. We Will be back. Thank you.

It is such a beautiful spot on the planet. You can virtually fish from your room with a decent cast. I will definitely be coming back.

Only stayed there for the night, food was okay, apartment wasnt flashy but was nice and cool, made for a good launching point to Hinchinbrook island.

Beautiful Resort with a one stop shop before u head out for great fishing!

Good place to stay and very convenient if you are keen on fishing, they have their own private boat ramp.

Allan, Kerry and the staff at Hinchinbrook Resorts have to be the most welcoming and happy people to accomodate you in such an iconic part of NQ! Stayed in the townhouse villas surrounding the huge pool which were fully self contained (big help! ), spacious and modern. To top it off the restaurant served decent sized and delicious food. Best place to stay at for a legendary fishing trip, family holiday or even a romantic getaway!

Great food lovely staff great place to relax recommend any one that comes to lucinda pop in for a meal and beer or stay the the whole weekend in a great relaxing room around the pool.

Would definately stay again. Very friendly service.
