Myself and my fiance stayed here for 11 nights. It was amazing. I would highly recommend staying here. We will 100% be back!

Great family stay and nice pool and Parking space.

NEVER EVER again! Do not waste your money I may as well have flushed $220 down the toilet.
Apartment had no hot water, had to have a cold shower in the dead of winter.
Television wouldn’t even turn on.
Apartment next door full of crackheads who stayed up yelling, and slamming doors, and now at 1am have decided to rearrange it furniture dragging it across the floor! The entrance to the room is a huge OHS hazard which has been blocked off with a couple of witches caps and some tape.
We won’t be staying here again ever, nor will we ever recommend it to anyone.

Good room with big living room place and kitchen as well as laundry facility in room. Walking distance the beach and good pool&spa. Very very recommended hotel with free parking and best location!

A great place to relax and treat like your home when you are on the Gold Coast.

Tv doesn’t work, internet doesn’t work no extra toilet roll…! Only warning posters in wall. Feels like don’t touch any thing, u will be penalized!

I have been staying at trickett gardens holiday inn since 2013 when I first decided to book here. Every holiday since I have decided to re book with them and have currently booked in another two holidays here over the next 6 months. The rooms are fully furnished appartments for such a low cost! unlike paying $300 at other hotels for a room with a bed and a kettle. i LOVE trickett gardens, not only for the extremely cheap pricing but because their customer service is always so welcoming! yes, some of their appliances could be updated but that wont get in the way of my 5 star review. For around $100 a night you get a bathroom with washing and drying, a bedroom with a double bed, a kitchen, another two single beds, a loungeroom with a pull out couch, flat screen tv, air conditioning, a balcony, a pool and a spa, they also offer a free car park. You wont find a better accomodation. theyre also located in the heart of surfers, a 2 minute walk from the beach and a 5 minute walk to everything else! They are always so accomodating to us, after driving one night for 25+ hours to get there we ended up getting to surfers at about 6am, at around 8 am we let them know we had arrived early. The staff then got the room ready for us by 9am and let us in earlier at no extra cost because they could see how exhausted we were and hot. i could go on and on about how amazing this place is but all I can say is HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Stayed here for Viva Surfers festival great location 100 metres to beach and Cavill mall. We had unit 33 on top floor it has been renovated with tiled floor and new washing machine and dryer. Modern furniture in living areas with large tv. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will return again next year great value.

Room is clean. Not too bad for its price range. Pool was clean but the weather prevent me jumping in.

Come here every year because it is absolutely beautiful. NEW YEARS eve is the best time to go.

Googling information about lineage and stumbled upon this hotel. I’ve always wanted to visit Australia, some day when I get a chance I’ll for sure stay here!

Stayed here twice now, good location but a little dated. Ok for a short stay.

Very disappointing, quite old, dirty and poorly maintained whether it is the equipment, the interior of the accommodations (holed curtains, electric wires that hang on the ground, shower in bad condition, dust and cobwebs, etc. ) or outside (pool and spa), only Positive points, location and secure covered parking. In summary, a bad value, price…

We had a wonderful stay. Couldn't fault it. Staff were lovely. The apartments were spacious and clean. Everything was so close by. For the price it is well worth it. We will be back. Thanks again.

Reception staff were great! Apartment was tastefully appointed. BBQ, pool and spa was relaxing and welcoming. Location is fantastic, being close to everything including the beach.

Terrific location but this hotel is a bit dated. Mold on the bathroom ceiling is a lowlight but the bed is comfortable and the shower is great.

This place is disgusting! pay extra and stay elsewhere. I read reviews about this place and one said to request prior to arrival for a room that has been renovated. I did and they confirmed that we were booked into one of the newer rooms. On arrival they put us into a s#*t room from the 1980s. I requested they move us and they said they were fully booked. Asking for a refund suddenly opened up a renovated room for us. BE WARY! Though the new room looked better it felt like it hadnt been cleaned properly and the room had a permanent stench that was so bad we had to leave the sliding door open the whole stay. We also had to wash all the linen due to the stink. (Reception was advised but we were told everything was washed before our arrival 'yeah right') the bathroom was mouldy had stuff stuck in the drain! Soo gross. Overall I would not recommend any friends or family to stay here. Its absolute RUBBISH!

Worst ever experience of our life staying at this hotel. One can see the pictures I have uploaded of the hotel room and furniture. We booked the hotel for comfort with A/C, with Wi-Fi facilities, with Intercom facilities but unfortunately A/C was out of order and the manager in charge said sorry and sent us FAN instead. Then one can see the amenities, the Lounge the bed sides and over and above there are no safety grills besides the steps. Rediculous … Don't believe on pictures posted by the hotel on Wotif or any other website.

Large apartment with mostly 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, living room, balcony and bathroom. In the outdoor area there is a barbecue, pool and whirlpool available free of charge. Supermarket, restaurant and the beach are within 5 minutes walking distance.

Me and my friends stayed here last year during summer break. We kind of regret the decision of not staying longer here. The location of the apartment is in the heart of Gold Coast. It's super close to Surfers Paradise Beach and the mall in Cavill Avenue. Mr. Kai and the rest of the staffs were very friendly and helpful to make sure we enjoy our stay there. The room is decent but the facilities in the room are complete. We didn't expect to find a rice cooker in there but we did. The apartment is value for money we spent. Great location and very friendly service. Just needs a bit of TLC. Bed was broken on one side. However my partner had a good sleep on his side of the bed! Would stay again.

Sure it's not the flashiest and newest thing in the Gold Coast, but the location is awesome and the staff are very friendly and helpful. After a 12 hour wait at Auckland airport because of a cancelled flight and a later flight redirected to Brisbane, I have managed to add to my travails by accidentally leaving my iphone in the uber we took from Coolangata airport to Surfers Paradise. I was just venting to Kai the manager about what happened. After a few minutes back at our room, a knock at the door and Kai confirming that he has called uber and telling me the driver has my phone. He gave me the number and name of the uber driver to call. Awesome customer service. In my book, it's not his concern, but he did it anyway.

So far I think this place is a s**t hole but its close to the beach, Cavill Ave & it's cheap!
Sure things get old but they could clean it a little better & fix all the broken stuff. Definitely needs an update & a really good clean! Otherwise a charming place to stay.

A cheap place to stay especially considering the location if you're staying for atleast 2 nights. The room has everything you need. Self-contained.

Very handy location. Apartment was clean and the reception staff friendly. Room lacked some basic things which would've made the stay more comfortable (a pair of scissors for when you're preparing from plastic containers, etc). Having more than one toilet roll for a three day stay would've been handy. Would still recommend for the budget conscious.

Self contained apartments that doesn't break your budget. Close to cavill but in a quiet street. Friendly couple that run it.

Not bad. Room was small but good for price. Was impressed with the parking. Right on cavill more or less so good for hitting da clubz.

The photos on their website are misleading Cane furniture from the 80's in poor state of repair Hot water notably absent Staff uncertain as to who the customer is, in regard to services provided and treatment of guests Stay here if your requirements are as simple as roof over your head with a bed to sleep on. If you like more modern accommodation and services, this is not the place for you.

Really great value accommodation close to all the fun and excitement that Surfers has to offer. The best part of all this is that it is really affordable and the location it is only 2 minutes walk to Surfers Paradise Beach. Phillip Morris.

Quiet hotel located in a street. Very easy access from the outside so is best to be on the floor. Spacious apartments. I recommend it.
