I had confirmed accommodation booked at this resort on 17 August for 24 Sept-1 Oct with a $260 deposit. When I checked today whether we can have groceries delivered on Thursday upon arrival and why the remainder of the fee for the holiday hadn't gone off yet Monique advised the booking was apparently cancelled via phone with me on 19/08 due to COVID (I live in QLD) so they took $50 of the deposit and refunded $210 which I hadn't picked u (p on until I checked the bank acc today. ONLY PROBLEM — NO ONE spoke to me about cancelling and NO CANCELLATION email was sent. I DID NOT cancel. I don't know what the deal is with this resort but they've taken $50 of my money for a fake cancellation. I am furious as I now have to find elsewhere at short notice to book my family in for our holiday during school holidays in QLD in 2 days time. Poor communication and poor customer service and just downright lying. I will be avoiding your resort in future and not recommending it to my friends and family either.

Absolutely studying place rooms are beautiful the people are great… That view.

Great spacious rooms, fantastic location and facilities at the resort. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

I love this place. Perfect chillied holiday set in magnificent Currumbin.

The ocean View, sit relax, cook, swim, learn to surf n paddle board, spar, jog, walk, … bring own camera and friends… go see the gold coast.

Nice big units. Very comfortable. Well appointed. Wifi was hopeless unfortunately.

I don't want to leave surfing most days warm sunny awesome view friendly older surfer dudes.

I'll be honest, the room was a little dated, but the view and the cleanliness of the pool made up for this 10 fold. We will definitely be coming back this year for summer.

Mutton Dressed Up As Lamb — Look Elsewhere Paid over $400 for one night — for that you get No air-conditioning (or even ceiling fans) and not mentioned on the website 2 towels for 2 adults and 1 child, 1 face towel and no hand towels A musty smell when you walk in Chipped tiles and mould in the bathroom Worn carpet and generally tired appliances and fittings BYO beach towels No one at Reception at checkin at 3PM And an early checkout at 10AM Sure the view is good but there are several other apartments nearby with A/C and comparable views that are also cheaper.

Looks great from the outside, even the complex gardens and foyer look nice, but take a look at at unit 10c at The rocks resort and its world apart It was a generous birthday present however we felt embarrassed that our friends had spent their hard earned money on very sub standard accommodation My understanding is that this unit like many in this resort are privately owned and rented out. The owner ought to be ashamed renting this unit out in the run down state it's in. This unit wouldn't have been painted in many years. The carpets were frayed, a trip hazard. The tiles had black scuff marks throughout. The lounge suite was shocking, couldn't bring myself to sit on it. The curtains, furnishings were very dated. The TV very small. Worst of all not one ceiling fan or aircon. given that these units are allocated at the managements discretion and we were allocated the dredges due to staying only one night I would not recommend this resort to stay at.

Great pool exellent veiw been coming 31 years but still no cover over bbq area cooking and then rain comes disappointing.

Ideallic location directly opposite the beach. Rooms a little tired but spacious. Parking ok but tight and lifts also showing their age Friendly reception staff. Would recommend in particular for family getaway.

The Rocks Resort is a classic Gold Coast hotel and probably the best known south of Burleigh. Most rooms we've stayed in were appointed with modern facilities and appliances. The real plus however is one of its older resort characteristics — the large living space off the kitchen. Holidaying with 2 kids in toe now means this common area is a buzz of activity. The view from the beach facing balconies is second to none. Although fitted with full kitchens I would be enjoying breakfast and coffee one of the many excellent cafes nearby!

The rocks resort apartments are absolutely fantastic, they have many amenities including a tennis court, pool, gym and a spa/ sauna. It also has one of the best seaside views I have ever scene.

An amazing place to stay, you have everything you would want when you stay here. The management and staff are simply fantastic nothing is any trouble to them always there to help if you need. Beach across the road and surf club.

We stayed at Rocks Resort for 2 nights very recently and absolutely loved it! The room was beautiful and clean and we loved the large balcony overlooking the beach. This was the perfect time of year to stay as it wasn't too hot. There was no air con in the room which might be a little uncomfortable in Summer but we will continue to come back at this time of year.

Without doubt one of the best spots to be. The views, cafe's and huge choice of restaurants within walking distance. The pool and spa area is beautiful. The mamagement, staff and even the residents are great. Will be back and will definitely be recommending to others.

One of the best locations on the coast. Brilliant views of the beach. Tennis court, games room and swimming pool were entertainingly fun. Units were lovely however the fridge and washing machine weren't working in one of our units. In conclusion, the rocks resort in Currumbin beach is a brilliant place and I recommend everyone to go there for a holiday.

Great resort at a great location, although it is starting to become a little dated. Few apartments are air-conditioned and the apartments can become very hot and uncomfortable during hot weather. We went oit and bought a cheap fan to stay cool. On normal summer days there is a nice strong breeze through the apartments. Great place for families.

This place was OK. It has an amazing view, clean and everything. I can recommend it.

No air-conditioning no ceiling fans great spot great views but think the resort needs updating and they only supply 2 floor fans not equivalent 2 the stars they have but did enjoyed my stay, but found lots of stuff under beds maybe cleaners need a bit of a nudge.

Rocks Resort. The Rock, some might call it. What a place. What a time. The smells. The sound. The dead animal carcasses. They remind me of when I was merely a wee lad traveling to the great southern land by barge from my Scottish homeland. Though I never could get the haggis to taste right in this country, the Rocks Resort was nonetheless a pleasant place to participate in some underground dogfighting. Won me a pretty penny or two that night.

Amazing view and perfect location but NO AIR-CONDITIONING OR FANS! Had to sleep with the windows and doors open every night which still wasn't enough to cool down the rooms. Ensure you bring a spare towel because a new one is $25! Bring a face washer, all toiletries including shampoo and conditioner because they do not supply unless requested and then charge you extra! Very expensive for what you get.

It was great as it was a minute walk from the beach. It also had heaps of entertainment such as a games room, gym and a tennis court. The pool was great and had a spa. Due to these reasons I would for sure go to the rocks resort.

I just had the best day of my life at the point restaurant. We had both our Ceremony and Wedding Reception here and the staff was friendly and catered for all our needs, which contributed in giving us an amazing Wedding Day. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Highly recommend going for a meal, or function. We had 40 guests at our wedding and all have provided great feedback with the meals and service also provided… We even went back and had breakfast the next morning. Will definitely be going back.

Everyone must go, sit watch the waves roll in with a bottle of wine, cheese board or just coffee and cake. You will not be disappointed.
