Excellent stay. Clean room with good views. Staff were great. Good location with easy access to beaches, walks and shops. Would definitely recommend for value for money.

What a awesome spot and so relaxing. The kindest staff and so close to shops and beach. Nice room good shower good beds awesome view. Truly aussie so cool… very annoyed took me so long to stay there. Good prices a home away from home with some great grandour and pride. We loved it and will be coming back ☺

Well locationed hotel at the southern end of Coolangatta Beach and overlooking rainbow beach and the Tweed River estuary. Great views from most rooms and at affordable prices. Many of the rooms have been recently refurbished adding to the desirability of this hotel. I've been staying here occasionally for the last 20 years and will continue to do so.

Great location right across the road from Greenmount Surf Club. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The mattress needs updating. The staff were welcoming.

The foyer and reception are well presented but after that everything looks a little bit tired. The room was ok but needs a revamp. The toilet, shower area didn't have an exhaust fan. Needed a good clean as well. The price was a bit high for what we got.

Older hotel. Great spot on the beach. Was Cheap so cant complain too much. Bathroom floor needed a clean and there was bum fluff floating in the spa. Staff were friendly. 3 stars.

Good for a 3 star. Was clean and tidy. Bed was a bit too hard and couch was terribly hard otherwise would have given 5 stars. On level 9 with river views.

Freshly painted, new carpet but still feels like an old hotel (1970s popcorn roof). The fella at reception was nice enough but weird. For example, he kept calling me "guy". Position is excellent, breakfast good. Room was cleaned but a few things missed. Requested a 12 noon checkout but was asked to pay $20 for the service. Nothing wrong with that but it is a pet hate of mine.

Wasn't impressed. Beware! 1 — limited parking, get in early or enjoy a lord of the rings type journey streets away. 2 — reception should be working in a correctional facility, no taking ownership and criticism. 3 — level 4 concourse ouside room 407 had wet carpet patch from leaking drain sprouting mushrooms, public liability issue. 4 — rooms where dirty, carpets, drains, bathroom, beds like sleeping on a park bench. 5 — bar fridge the size of a midgets carry-on suitcase. Never again.

Very pleasant visit. Staff very helpful. I messed up the dates on the booking, arriving a day late. They honoured the two nights we had booked, which was very good of them. Great buffet breakfast with western and Asian options.

Wonderful venue for holding events. Close to shops for a quick bite during breaks and friendly staff. Thankmyou for providing a wonderful home like feel.

I believe the staff were really nice, the views were okay too. Although the beds were rock hard an we all woke up with sore backs/legs. Wont be staying there again.

Good location for an early start at the airport. Nicely tucked inbetween two great beaches. The first impression in the lobby was good and the staff were friendly. It didn't feel clean I found the filter for the kettle in the toilet which had been "cleaned". The hotel is shabby and run down. Broken mirrors in the room, stained carpet, patio doors that don't work properly, paint peeling on the balcony. It wouldn't be so bad if it was cheap but we had to pay $250 per night for the pleasure. Not the kind of hotel you feel happy about coming back to after your day out. I wouldn't stay again.

Friendly staff, hotel is cleanish but basic for sure, certainly needs some maintaince and a refit to make it any sort of value for the price we paid in summer. Location is good. Would not stay again.

Beside the location this place is in need of a desperate face lift. The photos online are better than what it is. The housekeeping here clearly don't care about cleaning. I booked an executive family room and what I got was a room with carpets that were stained, a bar fridge that smells like something rotted in their for so long it's stuck to it, moulded tiny bathroom and to top it off dry blood splattered stained sheets. So disgusting I asked for new sheets from reception & had to make my own bed cause housekeeping had left for the day. Not worth $250 for the night. I would never stay here again due to their major hygiene issue. Reception looks fab n as soon as u go up the lift to a floor feel like u went to sum budget motel. All I got was a "I'm sorry you have to make your own bed". Ruined my Christmas. I will be posting photos of these dried bloody sheets.

Great value for money. Perfect location. All staff were incredibly smiley and helpful. Rooms pretty good.

Perfect location. Absolutely lovely staff who are charming and accommodating. Hotel is a little dated (some refurbishment would make this a top venue) but it serves its purpose well. We recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

This is one of the most interesting place that I have ever been. You believe it or not? My bed is divided by two different time zones (NSW and QLD). I was anxious which side to place my phone after setting my alarm…

The staff are wonderful. We love it but it definitely needs a lot of renovating. Shame its a lovely place.

First night here and it's not to flash. My wife wanted to move hotels straight away. I think they are just waiting for the demolition crews to come in. Great location though.

We stayed here in 2009, so not sure if there's been any improvement. The room smelled of cigarettes even though we asked for a non smoking room. Also, the beds didn't smell clean, carpet was old, and everything was very dated. Pool dated and dirty. Mould growing around walls etc. Carpets had cigarette burns in them. An overall very disappointing stay.

I love this old joint. Brings back plenty of memories from when we would stay here in the 80's & early 90's. Got to take my old school mates here on the weekend. We finished school in the late, late 80's. Perfect place for us all to step back in time. Its not super modern & definately not 5 star but, the rooms are clean, beds are comfy, the linen is fresh, the breakfast is sensational & the staff do a cracker of a job. Thanks again to all the team at Greenmount Beach Hotel.

Children friendly, great pool and different spa areas. Close to shops and larks. Excellent area. Room had a slight leaky shower but nothing too bad. Overall great for kids.

Great location, friendly service, fantastic view. Rooms a little dated but we're a good size and clean.

I've given 5/5 as a parent. The rooms were not the most modern or well put-together in terms of bathroom aesthetics but who cares when you have kids and there's a waterslide?! Also, the breakfast was the best I have had in many, many years and the staff there are fantastic!

Excellent position, friendly & helpful staff made it a great place to stay. Room was clean & spacious. Older style accommodation, but that is what we expected. Will certainly be back.

Room was as described. Hotel has a nice pool and spa area. Had dinner one night and breakfast one morning in the hotel restaurant, both were great quality for the price. I would definitely go back to this resort.

We have just had a 3 night stay at Greenmount Beach Resort and found it to be good value for money. We stayed on the 8th floor and had a view of the ocean which was lovely. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. The bathroom could do with an update but having said that it was clean and the shower was hot and had good water pressure. We also had the buffet breakfasts on a couple of the mornings and also thought that this was good value. We plan to stay at this Resort again in the future.

We have been looking forward to our small getaway for a year. So when we finally arrived at Greenmount Beach Resort we were most certainly blown away by the view and the location of this resort. The reason we chose this resort is manly due its location as out little toddler is very active and adventurous. I must admit that when we walked through the reception we got that feeling of stepping into an old resort which does have some appeal. Receptionist lady was somewhat welcoming and checked us in fairly quickly. As it was just me and my toddler, no one even bothered to ask if I needed any help as I struggled through reception with numerous bags. So we finally managed to get in the room after adventurous trip to the elevator. We ended up going to the beach and absolutely loved close proximity. Had juice and sandwich for lunch from beach kiosk. Young lady there was very friendly. When we got back, I tried to put air-conditioning on. To my surprise it was making loud ticking noises and cold cycle wasn't really working. On our way out I have asked reception to look into this and immediately I realised that I probably should have left it alone, as receptionist really didn't seem enthusiastic in helping us out. After a minute or so, receptionist advised us that we need to wait in our room until maintenance can visit us. This really got me annoyed, we were going to get dinner. So I have asked receptionist to attend to the problem as we need to go and feed my toddler.

Won't go back… the room was small. Vanity basin cracked in four places. Shower curtain had stains. But will say the staff were very good. Had a broken lamp and it was replaced within minutes. The breakfast was very ordinary. The atmosphere was just blah!. And we paid $145 for one night with breakfast included… and we saw people walking through the dining area with cigarettes in their hand. Smoking was just outside the dining area and smoke was drifting through. Not nice. There were around 10 people smoking. I told the maître de'. He was not impressed but no one else seemed to care. Nah. Won't go back.

This is a good value for money "resort" hotel. The location is great, in a quiet location, but near the action. There is plenty to do at the resort as well, though the pool seemed to rather dirty. The breakfast was great and good value for money. The resort and rooms look a little old and tattered. However you get what you pay for and so overall it is worth the price compared with other hotels in the area.

Very tired and outdated "resort". Car parking is outside and limited number of spaces. Room had been slightly renovated certainly not to a decent or acceptable level compared to other properties in the area. Property itself is very run down, dirty and greatly in need of urgent repair and maintenance. Location is great, in walking distance to beach and surf club.

Value for Money, accommodation nice and clean, reception staff friendly and the breakfast yummy. Recommended.

Thoroughly enjoying our stay here. We had to stay an extra night as waking up to this view was amazing and with a north facing balcony drenched in sunlight all day long we couldn't leave.
