Review of Beachcomber Surfers Paradise 3*

Look, the room was actually perfect for me. Situated on the 30th of 31 stories, my view was out of control. It's just me, in a tiny 3-star studio, and that's all I needed. It wasn't fancy, but I wasn't looking for fancy and the break-taking views were well worth everything I paid in rent. For this reason and this reason only am I giving this sad excuse of a resort a second star. Moving on. I had the pleasure of renting through an outside company — NOT through the resort, thank goodness. I came on here today because their customer service just finally cracked me. If you do no rent through them, be prepared for them to be completely useless to you. And even if you do rent through them, be prepared to hear their favourite word, "No! " Believe me, I have spent a lot of time in that lobby, have overheard many different conversations and the only thing they know how to say is "no. " I was in a hurry, my printer wasn't working, and I needed to have a document printed for a meeting in 20 minutes. I explained the situation and kindly asked the lady at the front if she would be willing to print it for me and with a smile, it was "no, not if you don't rent through us. " "Yes, but I live in the building, " didn't matter. "On a human level, will you? " "No, sorry, " she said. A complete stranger ended up printing it for me. She could have been a hero, but I honestly think she gets a kick out of saying no to everyone. At the end of the day, these people do not know the meaning of customer service. I asked if a friend could leave something of mine at the counter because I was going to be out. What was their answer? No. There are frequently building issues and curious smells. They're rude towards the Indian housekeeping employees. I've heard the pregnant blonde one rudely yelling at them in front of the whole front lobby. I can't imagine the inner issues in this management that causes them to be so cruel. If you're looking for star service and accommodation, DON'T RENT HERE. If you're looking for a budget place with a million dollar view/location AND don't ever expect to need the help of the front desk, then this place could be perfect for you as it has been for me until I've needed a little help here and there.
