Beautiful Location close to the beach!

Currently staying in apartment 36. Two bedroom apartment, what thought was paying for whole use of apartment excludes use of second bedroom/bathroom unless you pay an additional $30.00 per night! The door has a lock on it. No foxtel, have to pay for Wi-Fi? When listed as free. Paid $320 for the two nights! For expected use of two bedrooms! Apartment is outdated, front door gets stuck, very hard to open, apartment dirty upon arrival, floors need cleaning, vents covered on dust. Smelt like a garbage. If you want to use the safe must pay $5.00 Do not recommend staying here. Whole complex is run down/aged. Very disappointed with accommodation. Owners need to ensure their apartments are adequate and in a clean state prior to allowing holiday stays and or leases.

We have had a wonderful time at the Diamond Sand Resort. Close to all amenities, walking distance to the beach and local shops, and less than 3km away from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. The unit was well furnished and spacious, with a great kitchen, and close to the pool. Definitely family friendly accommodation.

Dirty room depressing extremely hot bedrooms upstairs in the middle of a heatwave punch holes in doors totally disappointed will be giving terrible reviews and never will we stay here again now wishing we had booked elsewhere.

Good pool and nice rooms …

Only 1 carpark space for a three bedroom apartment had to park second car on street (3blocks away) due to busy area
*stayed for 8 days did not get cleaned what so ever
*got given 2 rolls of toilet paper than got told we had to pay for more if we want more
*advertise foxtel but doesn’t have foxtel
*Wi-Fi password is given to you but you have to pay for it per day
* only allocated 1 towel why you are there
* furniture outdated
* bedroom fans didn’t work
* either boiling hot or ice cold water for your shower no set temperature Would not recommend if you have more than two vehicles or a large family.

Was abused and verbally mauled by resort manager for no reason.

Visited a friend staying there. Was a lovely place pool was awesome.

Fantastic place to stay for family to stay. We lived everything here and kids had a blast in a safe and secure environment. Will be back again. Thank you.

Management Aaargh!?! So need new blood They are soooo rude & should not be in a business that high customer service, hospitality & fantastic communication skills should be a given… Why are they still there? It is not only people that have invested & body corporate fees are sooo over the top, it is the holiday people that come to stay & I have NEVER heard anything but bad things about management or, "they are so rude", "they are so unwelcoming, what is wrong with them?! ", "Why don't the barbecues work?! ), "Why is the pool so warm in the middle of summer when the humidity is 90 degrees something?! ", "Why do they have what sounds like a freight train, picking up garbage, 6 days a week, between 7-8am? There goes the sleep in! ", The list goes on…

Visiting family from overseas. We enjoyed our visit and swam in the pool and used the BBQ area. Family also mentioned the owners were friendly and the rooms were perfect for their stay.

The facilities were very clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend visiting this place if you have the chance.

Fantastic, more than we hoped for. The staff could not be a nicer bunch. I highly recommend for any event. The amenities are ridiculous, nothing to wish for. Look forward to my next visit. Have to mention the beautiful grounds as well, Very tranquil.

This is definitely a hidden gem. From the entrance, hospitality, amenities. Love it when its everything you wanted for a perfect holiday.

We recently stayed here for a week at the end of May. It's centrally located for the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Plenty of room and the amenities were very clean. They also were able to accommodate my disability by giving us a ground floor unit. Just a couple of things made it less than perfect, the owner/maintenance man let himself into the apartment while we were there. Then denied it when we complained. Also there was no Foxtel as advertised, which isn't a big deal except that I had 3 children 5 yrs & under who were sick with a cold and it would have given them something more to do. I would recommend it to couples and families but keep your door chained while inside.

Attitude of reception is cunning. They don't know how to talk to the customers. Accomodation is good.

Well… looks nice online, family rooms are out dated. Could do with more modern fixtures. Especially when your paying $320 per night.

My apartment was a bit run down. Old appliances and CRT TV in bedroom (says a lot). Positives… Nice grounds and pool/BBQ area great for kids.

I stayed with my family for 4 months and it is a clean & tidy apartment. It is a great location with easy access to beach, resorts and public transport. It is a fully furnished apartment with all the required utensils. A secure residential place to stay and hence completely safe for families. Every staff were so helpful and we enjoyed the stay thoroughly. I would like to thank especially Peter, John and Christine for their great support throughout the stay. Hope we will be staying at this place, when we come for a holiday :) Regards Arun & Manivadhana.

Love it here… very friendly, great apartments, easy access.

Great place, visited multiple times. Little upset that the games room has consists of only a broken pool table. But otherwise can't fault.

Great place easy walking distance to everything great facilities.

We loved the place it wasnt far from great restaurants the pool area was great. I could of just sat with a few cocktails around that pool and my holiday would of been complete. Will come back again for sure thank you so much.

Diamond Sands was great. The room was spotless and very comfortably furnished. The lounge was fabulous. There were plenty of cups, glasses, plates etc. A variety of bowls and containers that could be utilised for salad's etc. The air conditioning worked a treat and the fans in each room ensured a good nights sleep. The pool area is lovely and roomy. The reception staff were lovely and more than happy to go the extra mile to assist with some tricky logistics. All in all a very enjoyable stay with lots of things nice and close. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Good swimming pool and BBQ facilities. Very homely environment. Trees.

We stayed here for 1 week and our plan was to come with our three young children to just relax and unwind. We were pleasantly suprised at our appartment and how well equipped it was! Everything is catered for and it was such a beautiful place, we loved chilling in it. Absolutely loved the pool facilities, it was awesome to relax and let the kids play in a safe secure environment, our 3 kids talk about the awesome rock pool the most and miss it since being home. Such a beautiful spot and so tranquil even though its on a buzy road, you wouldn't know. Thanks for such an enjoyable stay and we'll remember this place in the future!

My stay was great, I really enjoyed my time, I loved swimming in the pool, apart from some guy watching me from his balcony everyday and inviting me to MP's? I will be back to stay really soon.

We had a really good time there with our three year old boy. The apartments are big and spacious, and the location is handy, not too far from the patrolled beach. The pool was awesome and provided hours of entertainment. Only detractors would be the cleanliness and age of our room, no flat screen TV or DVD player (there was a video player in it, lol) and the fact that they didn't have a coffee plunger in the room so had to buy one. Good coffee was hard to find on the Gold Coast anyway, apart from Vintage cafe across the road from Diamond Sands. Apart from the above would go again.
