Over priced for what you get. Very dissapointed. The cabin was very old dated and run down. The front door was faulty. Stains on the couch. What looked like cigarette burns in the bathroom sink. For what u pay I would of expected more. In saying that the location was great. The staff were very friendly and the local Tavern served great food.

Stayed for 3 nights in December. Perfect for a single or couple. Lovely decor, air conditioned. Very comfortable bed. Bungalows are small, comfortable and very clean. The grounds are well maintained and attractive.

Was not a pleasant stay unfortunately. Sofa was quite old and dirty, accommodation tired, felt unclean and was overpriced!

Always the most most peaceful enjoyable place to be, we’ve been coming here for years. Lots of fishing to do right at your front door. Love it.

Such an affordable experience. Well kept accomodation, helpful staff, beautiful atmosphere… great pub down the street that you can literally walk to. Will definitely visit again.

I would not recommend anyone to stay here after our last visit. Our bungalow was broken into while we slept and both My wife’s and my car were stolen along with a lot of personal items. No privacy in the cabin we stayed in with transparent curtain. Windows did not lock into the lounge room and bedroom. No sign of forced entry
Into cabin so we suspect thief’s had a key. Not a good reputation according to local businesses in the area with a lot of dodgy stuff going on in the complex regularly. No help or even a little concern from the management or reception about our issues/theft we experienced.

Very uncomfortable Bed, very cheap pots and pans.
Hot plates are very complicated to use.
On the lawn are heaps of prickles.

Great place to stay on the waterfront. Good for fishing and a close walk to the Waterfront Hotel for meals/pokies/drinks etc. Very relaxed atmosphere in the resort. Rooms are compact but comfortable and clean. Great air conditioning! Units are self contained and extremely practical. The TV in the room would be the only complaint — not that we watched it much — but the signal drops in and out so much that its almost unwatchable. Other than that, we will definitely stay again!

I paid for a deluxe bungalow… I don’t believe I got this! Some hand soap would not have gone astray. The bedspreads had white marks and were questionable. My 12yr old boy and 16 year old girl were expected to share a double bottom bunk bed, as there was no linen on the top bunk. Our bungalow was amongst residential bungalows, the residents are questionable looking!
On a positive note, the room was clean (apart from bedspreads) and well presented.

Nothing wrong with the bungalow very clean and great spot. We arrived Tuesday afternoon to tree loppers with chainsaws they were a little bit away from us so thought ok but the next day guy with blower early then the tree loppers were back trimming a tree over hanging the bungalow behind us with the mulcher going. There was a couple in the bungalow with a child nobody came to tell us this was going to happen. When I went to the office to complain all I got was it has to be done no sorry it has ruined your day. The lady behind us came out of her bungalow with the child and almost got hit by a branch. Work place health and safety would have had a field day as no taped off area.
A simple sorry this should not have happened mould have been appreciated but did not get that.
It is a shame this happened as it could have been a nice spot to return too but we will not be going back there.

The location was gorgeous and the cabin we were staying in was very comfortable and relatively easy to access.

Our apartment was old, cold and dirty, mould in the bathroom, plastic for vanity doors, broken tiles in bathroom, rusty, dirty fan in bedroom, impossible to find at night, stained carpet, the only positive was a comfortable bed, however the old floral bedspread was disgusting.

Cabin was tired but clean. Beds were on wheels, so roll over and move to other side of room.

Wonderful venue for school camps! They looked after us so well; cabins were amazing; food was plentiful, fresh and tasty. Fully recommend!

Ita by the Lake, it was which is nice. Good was basic!

A bit too over priced for the value you get and rooms are a little out dated but it's located in a nice area.

No service. Dirty grounds. Lack of amenities. Mud lake. Speeding cars. Dead grass. Noisy Tennants.

One of the friendliest parks we have stayed in. Amenities in great condition and well looked after. Staff actively improving the site. Central location with short drive to beaches and right on the River.

Great location, sites were very well maintained, camp kitchens great. Best aspect though was the staff, being relatively new (young) caravanners, we had problems with our van, which both counter staff and field staff went out of their way immensely to help us with. Great setup for kids too with the playground and pool area as well as areas they could ride scooters/bikes without too much drama and the staff put on a marshmallow roasting night with the firepit which the kids loved. Definitely will be returning to here in the future, A++++++

Worst place I've ever stayed at. The managers are a disgrace. You should be ashamed! I have not confused you with another park. My name wasn't on the bill. We visited one of our friends that hired one of your cabins (that smelled like a bunch of old ladies had lived there btw and had dead cockroaches on the floor). We had a few drinks over the night and lost track of time, we didn't realize we had passed the visiting curfew by a couple of minutes. All of a sudden two of your managers busted through the sliding door without knocking and started ranting and raving about the time. They accused us of having the air conditioning too cold and smoking cigarettes inside even though none of us smoke. There was no need to be so god damn rude! We were nothing but apologetic to the situation as we were in the wrong but the way we were treated was disgusting. There was no need to act so inappropriately and make us all feel so unwelcome with the childish remarks we were spoken down to. I feel so sorry for my friends that spent money on your over-priced accommodation… They will never be making that mistake again and if anyone reading this is thinking of staying here, make sure you have your lights off and are in bed by 9.30.

Stayed in the Homestead and had a great time staying in a park that is maintained to the highest standards. The kids loved the pancakes for breakfast and marshmallows of an even prepared by the fantastic staff and enjoyed their time in the pool. Would highly recommend.

Bungalow was clean and tidy, staff were nice Whole park extremly run down including bungalow, web site said had air con which the one we had didnt and the Wi-Fi didnt work.

Friendly and helpful management. Really well maintained. Great location for nice walks, fishing, water sports, and not far to beautiful beaches, night clubs, coffee shops, and great shopping.

This is a very friendly park these days. I have a friend who lives on over 50 section and the new managers cannot do enough to help you. Easy enough entry off the motorway. River nearby. A small shopping mall. Doctor… and cafe within walking distance.

A little disappointed in our holiday here. My family and I where looking forward to relaxing on the beach hiring kayaks and stand-up-paddle boards but we where told that they don't hire anymore. Was quite shocked to be asked for an additional $20 for the linen for the kids beds. Had to ask for an exchange because it smelt like it had not been washed. The unit was clean and tidy and had everything you might need. Heaps of hot water too. Undercover parking is only for full time residents which is one of the many things on their website which is false. Waterfront bungalows are about 200mt from the main road (David Low Way) and the traffic noise is terrible from 430am onwards. No remote for the TV or DVD, office said they can't help. Bought a second hand remote and left it behind. My family and I are not hard to please but we like to get what we paid for. Good size bathrooms.

We stayed at the Hideaway Cabin. It was so much more than we expected. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. We will definitely return. Great price, Great Location.

Thank you Blake, Sharon & team at the Maroochy Van Park, we had a most enjoyable stay with you for nearly 3 months while we finished of some business stuff and purchased our new small acreage. Having worked in the same industry I know how important guest service is…, these guys went above & beyond from putting your van on site with the tractor to the winter warming fire pit every night at the camp kitchens with some fun sing-a-longs plus the Sunday morning pancake breaky, just a great location on the river. All parks should be as well run as this one. Friendly helpful staff, level grassed sites with synthetic awning pad and modern clean facilities, the evening gathering around the firepit is a bonus.

Great park for caravan powered sites. A little noise from traffic, not too much at night. Great hosts and all staff are friendly.

Great friendly and courteous hosts. Even park your van! Also great amenities.

First time stay. Very friendly staff and very well maintained park. Easy access off the sunshine motor way. Very fast free Wi-Fi. The Pool was clean and nice to swim in. The camp kitchen was great and kept clean for other visitors. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Stayed in January for 3rd time in a garden view superior room with 4 kids. Rooms have been renovated. Very modern and beach themed. We had a fantastic time. Pool was right outside our front door! All staff were friendly and always helpful. We will be back.

Really enjoyed helping these guys create a virtual tour through the property. A friendly bunch of people and a great central location!

Would not recommend staying there. I rented a bungalow for work for 2 months. They used every trick to keep my bond. The TV didn't even work when I moved in and it was pretty dirty. I cleaned it thoroughly before leaving and they still charged me a $150 cleaning fee. They also failed to tell me I would pay for electricity, that was another $150. Other guys I worked with that were renting other bungalows also had similar problems! It was done through a group called Terreno Management. Avoid them my advice.

Get ready to be ripped off with a condescending smile. Me and my partner stayed in the resort for a short-stay rental (2months and a bit), to start of our retirement while our new house is vacated by its current tenants. First we were quoted something around $400 for one week, (which was much more then advertised). We left the deal as it was too expensive for us, but we were called later that day with an offer of around $300 per week. This sounded like we where in luck at that time, but now I realize that I was offered the actual price in that phone call. One of the weeks during our stay was during Xmas for which the resort management billed us 25% extra — without prior notification, and contrary to the agreement! There was no washing machine in our unit and we were not allowed to bring our own, though the units are clearly kitted out to have them. After a few unplesant "talks" with the management, we were forced to use the coin slot washing machines. If that's not enough — we were charged $35 extra for a shaded car park that turned out to be not even owned by the resort, but an owner of one of the units! This is not a resort. They are thieves!
