The owner is very friendly and goes out of her way to help. Oh and the bed is soooo comfy. Heaps of hot water for yr shower.

I needed to stay one night in Chinchilla and I am really pleased with this motel. It's clean, the interior is new looking, it's bright, neat, and comfortable. The lady who looks after the place is extremely bright and friendly and very helpful. The garden, the little bit there is, is nicely kept and provides a good entrance to the motel. It is an old motel but I am very pleased with it and it exceeded my expectations.

We had to call ahead as we were very late arrival, not a problem for Robyn. We got there at 10pm, she was there waiting to guide my truck into the parking. Fresh milk and air con on, brilliant. The next day we finished what we had to do so called Robyn again and we stayed again. This time we arrived at a better hour, 7pm. This time though Robyn took us down to the local club where we had a great meal with the courtesy bus taking us back. Rooms are clean and comfortable and very much value for money. If ever I am back in Chinchilla I will most definitely be staying here again, I highly recommend this place. Thank you Robyn, you were great. I own the Matilda Motel in Bundaberg so my expectations are high and everything was to my standards in everything including the extra services and lengths that Robyn went to to make sure our stay was a great one. I myself do the same with taking guests around to local attractions and it was niceto find someone else who had the same way of providing the service for great customer service.

Amazing! The rooms are spacious and have great facilities. Owners really helped me out as travelling on my own, really kind lovely people. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in chinchilla.

We have really enjoyed our stay here… sure, we could have gone somewhere a "bit fancier for a few more $$$"… but it's personal touches; excellent customer service makes the place, being welcomed back again and again by Robyn and getting to know other regular guests who also return time and again… and a few casual drinks round the BBQ also helps! Have stayed at the Acacia Motel 3 times in the last few months and have found the rooms more then sufficient for our needs. The rooms are very comfortable for an older style motel but more important, very clean. The owner, Robyn and her family, are more than friendly and nothing is to much trouble. They are centrally located near the Caltex service station, KFC, Subway etc on your way into Chinchilla.

Wonderful service, awesome breakfast and very clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking for a friendly helpful and fabulous place to stay in Chinchilla.

It is just the best accommodation there is and Robyn and her family are wonderful.
So welcoming and friendly.
They picked me up at 7.15pm from the bus drop off point and took me back there for my return trip home to Brisbane.
Central to the Main Street, clean and comfortable rooms and nice home cooked meals.

If you're looking for a 5 Star resort then try elsewhere but if you're looking for a clean motel with awesome hosts and delicious home cooked meals delivered to your room then this is definitely the place for you. Would stay here again without hesitation.

I had broken down late one night near Miles on the way from Roma to Toowoomba and had RACQ tow me to their base in Chinchilla. Being 10pm at night I hadn't had any luck getting a room for the night (one even called me back after a missed call and rudely told me she couldn't do anything for me and just hung up). Then the lovely lady from the Acacia actually answered my call and prayers and put me into an awesome room and it was very cheap! She even helped me out the next morning to sort out my transport and looking up things on the computer for me. If I stay in Chinchilla, I'm always going to the Acacia. Got me out of a pinch and I'm very grateful.

Really great place to stay, they do home cooked meals delivered to you room and they are delicious. There's a nice outside area to eat if you don't want to eat in your room. It is family owned and operated and definitely shows in the service. The place is well looked after: the rooms are clean and the outside looks neat and tidy.
