Excellent food good variety to suit all tastes adequate range of beers and wines fantastic service. Attentive but not intrusive. Friendly staff who looked after us as well as you would find in a 5 star city restaurant. Will definitely go back again.

It's nice and quiet (except for some noisy barking dogs early in the morning! ) closeness to the beach for a daily walk, the great restaurant neat and clean amenities…

Fantastic place to stay clean, comfortable rooms with great views, food and cocktails in restaurant were next level with fantastic customer service looking forward to our next stay.

Last minute decision for a quick getaway and we ended up at this little gem. Clean room, with a great ocean view. Meals were tasty and served quickly by friendly staff. Thanks for a great experience ❣️

Enjoyed our stay over new year, the new managers made us feel very welcome, great pool, great restaurant (especially the pizza) happy hour is a blast. Great location for strolls along the beachfront. We will be back. Thanks Sharon and Phil.

First time at Beachcombers recently & what a hidden gem. The staff were amazing & friendly, the park clean & quiet. The restaurant food was superb. Definitely our new favourite place to stay in Cardwell. Thanks for an awesome stay! Five stars ⭐️

We had a grassed powered site amongst some lovely shady gardens close to the amenities and camp kitchen. Lovely park right on the beachfront with a restaurant and bar. Happy hour from 4.30pm to 6pm every day. Amenities are looking a bit tired but very clean and tidy. Nice hot showers and good water pressure.

We stayed in a ground floor motel unit looking directly out to the foreshore. It had a kettle and fridge but no toaster. Very comfy bed and blockout curtains. There were meals available but we were self-sufficient. Would loved to have stayed longer.

Great spot right across the road from the beach. Room was nice and clean with working AC. Definately be back to stay here again.

Definitely will recommend the Cardwell Beachcomber. Friendly staff, excellent food. Lovely rooms for the very reasonable price. Pity we only stayed 1 night. The setting was good. Very pleased.

Stayed here for two nights. Almost the only people in the park. Amenities, camp kitchens all good standard. Staff very friendly. Right opposite beach but sadly no beach swimming due to Bismark (the Crocodile). Pool made up for it. Happy hour in the bar is top value. Thoroughly recommend this place if you are heading this way.

All in all we had a great stay and slept soundly. The staff are friendly, it’s a gorgeous area and easy enough to setup the tent. The pool is awesome! Facilities are clean and user friendly. The downers were the mango trees, they’re a little much, they bring bulk mosquitoes (as does the rain) and green ants, and it dripped onto the gazebo causing bulk pooling that could have been avoided. Also, a little overkill with the ‘do not steal’ signs, obviously had a problem with that in the past and it takes away the friendly feeling…

This place is the best! a tidy park. Awesum amenities. And the staff are brilliant. So accommodating to a large family and its pets. Definately 5 star.

It was a great stay for three nights, food was amazing and so was the pool, the only bad thing was the storm.

Clean, quiet, free Wi-Fi, but third bed in the hallway area. You could have also built a door. Just as dark the curtains are not, is more of a visual protection.

The Beachcomber is a great place for afternoon drinks/dinner. Amazing view over the bay and fantastic atmosphere. Definitely recommend it!

Spent one night in the motel with ocean views, and fabulous spacious modern room. Had dinner in their restaurant, and the seafood platters we had were out of this world. Lovely Shona in Reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Will certainly stay at Beachcomber again, when we're up this way again!

Enjoyed a beautiful meal tonight for our 10th wedding anniversary. The food was delish and the staff are amazing. Service was great too. Well done to jack, farrah and staff.

Stayed in a motel unit even though we have a small campervan. Stunning view from the room and balcony. Clean, decent sized room. Wonderful managers and a delicious seafood pizza for dinner. Hope to stay here on our way back down the coast. Thank you for a lovely 2 days.
