Nice local feel, great staff and amazing room with a washer/ dryer, refrigerator, sink and cookware. Good location right off main strip.

Had a few hours to kill while we were waiting for power to be restored to our hotel so the crew and I headed for some much needed drinks. So glad we chose this place because the staff were fantastic and so accommodating, letting us charge our devices. You know how important that is! Great stuff, we appreciated the hospitality.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay for a week or just overnight. Great outlook friendly and helpful staff members. Reasonably priced rates all year round. Phone to make reservations for your holiday or special occasion.

If you *really* want to spend this much on a meal, take a taxi to Yaralla. You'll spend less and have a better time. The food was terrible. Chicken taste like fish, half the menu was unavailable, salads obviously made last week, desserts with the after taste of cardboard and staff didn't know the menu. The staff tried their best to make up for the restaurants failures but charm can only get you so far. One star for the staff, one star for strong coffee.

Very comfortable, helpful staff, and we really recommend the Oak and Vine restaurant attached to the Oaks. You know a restaurant is good when the locals fill it, up market in scale but worth it. Best medium rare steak for a long while, and the pistachio lamb chops were excellent. No problem with going back.

Our first visit here in Gladstone Oaks Grand and we are pleasantly surprised at how lovely the room is. It is located in the CBD so easy walk in town to shops, cafes and restaurants. A short drive to the Marina which is worth a visit whilst in Gladstone. I give it ✔of approval.

The evening was a disaster for our group of 16. The great efforts of the kitchen & hospitality staff of the Oak & Vine restaurant were totally demolished by the unyielding presentation of the "background" music. We were as far away as physically possible from the solo "entertainment" yet the overpowering assault to the ears continued even after several requests were submitted to lower the volume. As our group consisted of family and friends, it would be considered appropriate to have the ability to engage in normal-volume conversation. This venue is not advertised as a night club where one could expect dominating music — it offers a quality dining experience. If tonight's standard is an acceptable business model then our group of 16 diners will find another venue with a more suitable culture.

Stayed in studio room. Had great views, everything was clean and tidy. Only letdown was the hot water fluctuating in the morning, and being able to hear a toilet from another room being flushed while in the bathroom.

Friendly and helpful concierge staff, ample parking that can accomodate larger vehicles. Rooms are clean and well appointed with a laundry and good cooking facilities for a motel room. The Oak and Vine resturant continued the pleasant experience.

Great hotel with good views of the harbour. A couple of food options at the pub which is part of the same complex. Definitely one of the better places to stay in Gladstone. The rooms are really nice and spacious.

Best hotel room I have ever stayed in. Full kitchen, washer and dryer included, and modern and stylish decor. Doesn't get any better.

Rooms are very nice with great views. Disappointing that they only offer 30 mins free internet and charges for longer are quite high. We also caught the people next door to us peeping in our room late at night around the balcony divide so privacy is not the best.

Had a great stay at the Oaks grand in Gladstone. The staff were friendly and we received great service. We received a free room upgrade as well into a very clean and modern executive apartment. The room was excellent and comfortable. The amenities were great, including a cook top, full size fridge and washer/dryer. I would definitely come back here.

Hotel was situated in a quiet location just behind the main street. Rooms are clean and modern with a small kitchenette. Secure undercover parking is available. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

This place is in smack bang middle of Gladstone CBD and appears as if this is the tallest building in the town. Hotel is well maintained, clean and friendly staff. Reception open 24hrs and nearby Ribs and Rumps restaurant is not bad for good grub.

Very bad behavior from maintenance staff. I stayed at the Oaks for 10 days and the front desk was very helpful, the hotel infrastructure was good. However, the big issue was their rude maintenance staff. The maintenance staff behaved very rudely with us — always kept on cribbing about extra garbage which was nicely packed and ready to be dropped by us in a separate garbage bag. Also, they even instructed us sternly to throw our own garbage in the dirt bins in basement. I really asked myself — did I pay 150 bucks a night to a hotel to drop garbage and get regular rude instructions? If they want the customers to manage their own garbage and clean the room themselves, they should write that in the hotel usage policy instead of instructing the guests very rudely. I moved out and they lost 20 nights of business and a potentially loyal customer I was surprised to see the difference in behavior of the rude maintenance staff vs the super nice front desk staff. Moved to a different hotel and have had an unmatched experience since. Never oaks in gladstone again!

I have stayed here about 4 times now. The room is modern and luxurious. Being attached to coffee club and a rib house provides convenience with room charge back and the food is quality. Staff are friendly and the room is always clean and tidy. All facilities appear new and fully operational. Highly reccomend it to anyone staying in Gladstone.
