Very clean, very cosy, very quit, very friendly, very close to the beach, wonderful breakfast, daily room service we stayed there 2 times for 2 nights and it was always wonderful.

Nice clean room and close to the beach and walking distance to town.

Location, hosts… the room is more than adequate nice set up wish I had the coin to buy the business.

What a beautiful spot. Peaceful and yet so close to the beach and town centre. The service and facilities are top class. Would def recommend and would def come back again. Nice to be able to walk away from a little break and actually feel rested and relaxed.

What a delightful experience! We were greeted at the gate by the lovely owners ehen we first arrived! They showed us around the room and explained how breakfast worked. The owners friendly and helpful personalities really set our holiday up for perfection.
We were delivered breakfast each afternoon, so all we had to do was wake up and get it out of the fridge. The breakfasts were varied each morning and were very big! Full of healthy and fresh options. We were suprised when we come back from a day of adventuring around to freshly made muffins and oh my were they delicious! We wanted to take a batch home! Our rooms were attended to daily as well. The beds were so comfy, the decor made it feel like home and great size rooms. We can't wait to come back again and stay here again. It has been the best experience I've ever had and I can not express my gratitude enough to the owners for making it everything and more for our little holiday.

Very pleasant and memorable stay at Cavvanbah Beach House. We strongly recommend it for couples who would like to enjoy a quiet stay in Byron Bay (and this is not necessarily obvious). We chose it thanks to all the good comments written here and sincerely we join them fully!
We especially enjoyed the comfort, the quality of the services, the quiet and the breakfast! Not to miss because the products are artisanal.
Room: Magnificent King Size bedding, including a superb clean bathroom.
Services and Facilities: TV, Air conditioning, brewer, fridge, small swimming pool and bicycles on request. A few guides and flyers will help you prepare your visit to Byron.
Location: Ideally placed for people not wanting to stay in the center which is noisier. The bars/restaurants and venues for the Fiesta are only a 10-foot walk away. Easy access to the beach and that's really nice!

Brilliant stay in Byron Bay. Comfortable accommodation, 2 min walk to beach & 10 minute walk into town centre. Fresh delicious breakfast every morning, but I would stay here again just for the homemade muffins delivered every afternoon! Amazing!

I have given this property a 5⭐️ Rating, the attention to detail, the room comfort and location are just wonderful but the solitude, relaxing environment with no children and the personalised service, (the cupcakes are to die for), take it all the way to a 5⭐️ wonderful holiday experience.

It's heaven on earth. Geoff and Steve are amazing hosts and you couldn't get a better location. It's a lovely walk into town either along the beach or road. Our first day we came back to home made scones with clotted cream and jam… My husband asked why I didn't bake like that. The next afternoon as we were lying by the pool I could smell baking… home made muffins for tea. Please tell me this is normal in Byron Bay? I don't thinks so. The walk to the beach adds to the calmness and serenity of the whole place. This to me is a perfect holiday and 4 nights is not enough. Love ❤️ Patricia and Paul x.

I spent a fantastic 4 days at Cavvanbah Beach House in December. Super comfy beds and lovely clean and bright rooms. Only metres from a great beach. Breakfasts were exceptional and one day the hosts brought us home-made muffins as a treat. I would highly recommend Cavvanbah Beach House. (I accidentally reviewed another place with a similar name, so be careful not to get the two mixed up).

Geoff & Steven have created an exceptional boutique hotel in quiet surroundings just across the street from Belongil Beach and a short walk to to downtown Byron Bay. Traveling with my son, we had two rooms, both beautifully appointed in a casual modern style with private decks. The beds were so comfortable it was hard to get up on the second day! Each of our rooms had large ensuite bathrooms appointed with aromatherapy shampoos & lotions. Divine! The rooms had a mini fridge stocked with OJ & fresh milk, French Press with freshly ground coffee, an electric kettle and a variety of teas. Steven, a classically trained chef and former restauranteur, made the most beautiful breakfast trays. The abundance of locally grown and sourced fruits, cheeses & Steven’s homemade granola cereal were delicious, but it was the fresh muffins we got everyday that tipped the scales! I actually never got to try them as my son ate mine before I had a chance, I have it on good authority that they were the best he’d ever had! Both Geoff & Steven pay attention to the tiniest detail to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. I won’t ever need to try other accommodations the next time I visit Byron Bay. I got it right the first time!

I've stayed at Cavvanbah Beach House a number of times now and have always been delighted by the experience. The owners have definitely succeeded in creating a tranquil, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The beach house is located on a beautiful, quiet street just a hundred meters from Belongil Beach. The property has only a few rooms which are all well separated, so you often feel like you're the only one there. The rooms are surrounded by gorgeous, lush, tropical gardens full of palms and native birds. The centre of Byron town is just a short walk away (about 5–10 minutes) and the beach is just 100 meters along a sandy bush track. The owners Geoff and Steven have owned and operated Good Food Guide restaurants in Melbourne and their skill and experience shows. The rooms are decorated with quality furnishings and are always spotlessly clean. The complimentary breakfast each morning is incredibly generous! It includes delicious home made muesli, freshly cut tropical fruit (or sometimes a fruit compote), sourdough toast, juice, yoghurt and sometimes a special treat like home baked muffins or banana bread. If you're looking for a place to stay in Byron that's quiet, peaceful, yet close to the beach and town, you can't go wrong here. I'm looking forward to my next stay!

This was one of the best get away's. Such a beautiful and well presented place to stay. Amazing hospitality with very friendly owners. Beautiful rooms with everything you need including a very comfy bed which was a big plus for me. Delicious breakfast in room each morning, wonderful pool area, minutes walk from the beach and main part of town. Very quite street so you are not interrupted with any road noise. Will be back again with no hesitation. Thank you.

This beach house is pure class. My partner and I stayed for five days and wished it was longer. Stephen and Geoff were the perfect hosts, very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, but also inconspicuous when we wanted some seclusion. The house is architecturally designed and the set-up, features and colour scheme of the room were impeccable. Just a short stroll to the beach and 10 minutes from town, the location is faultless, close enough to everything but ideally far away from the main drag/crowds/noise. The breakfasts each day were amazing in terms of both variety and quality of the organic produce, and we loved the extra touches like surprise afternoon teas left waiting for us most days. Highly recommended and we look forward to our next stay.

Geoff and Stephen are great hosts. The room was well presented and clean. The location is great away from the road but close enough to walk into town and right on the beach. The breakfast is excellent such a wide selection and all quality produce. Thanks guys we'll be back for sure.
