I Love staying here — great view from the terrace, blissful atmosphere, old record player sets the scene with wine and champagne celebrating life is good. Comfy bed, beautiful bathroom and so close to the city. Good hospitality from Lauren who is looking after us tonight on duty. Great way to celebrate my birthday.

Very nice boutique hotel in three adjoining grand old Victorian Terrace Houses in Potts Point. All completely renovated, very nice decor and helpful friendly staff — great breakfast as well — great place to stay in Sydney.

I knew from the moment we walked in that I had picked somewhere special to stay — everything was amazing — the rooms, the location and especially the staff. Nothing was a trouble and everyone was so lovely. Thank you to everyone for making my husbands birthday extra special.

Definitely one of my top 5 hotels in Sydney and fighting it out for top spot. Spicers PP ticks all the right boxes and excels in just about everything. From the fantastically warm reception you get on arrival, the beautiful decor and restoration job, to the smaller and very welcome touches like pump bottles in the bathroom rather than single use toiletries (one of my pet hates). The rooms are huge and very nicely designed. There's plenty of lighting when you need it and enough control to turn things down later on as you unwind. The location is great. Nestled in among some fantastic food options. The staff can give great recommendations to plenty of places that will suit your tastebuds. It's a lovely 15 minute stroll through the gardens into the CBD. Overall fantastic hotel. Highly recommended!

Spectacular staff and comfy bedrooms! Bathroom was a big as the bedroom. I would suggest putting in a bath with all the extra space. Otherwise it was fantastic.

Arriving at “Spicers” you are greeted with a beautifully restored large Victorian building. Every finish has been thought through, and the style combines old heritage charm with modern sleek style. As you walk down the corridor you are greeted by welcoming staff and led through the breakfast room. A stunning whitewashed room with dramatic contemporary photography makes you want to be silent. In hushed tones, you say “Wow this is awesome. ” We head to our room I instantly feel sophisticated. Our deluxe terrace suite overlooks Potts point. We are transported from our usual suburban life into one of inner city chic. However, the old Kings Kross I knew had thumping music and kebab shops. Now the same spaces have been replaced with contemporary Danish furniture stores and juice bars. After dinner, we return to our room to be welcomed by a beautiful cozy warm bed with soft pillows. This is the stuff hotel dreams are made off. A good hotel group knows their guest's sleep is more important than an organic chocolate on the pillow at turndown. Or fancy monogram slippers. 10 out of 10 for comfort. The next morning breakfast was tasty in a relaxed and quiet atmosphere. A fresh coffee is whipped up happily by staff while you can order à la carte, or graze at the buffet. Your choice. We check out and feel refreshed and recharged. A great Thanks, Spicers.

Boutique hotel at the fringe of Kings Cross and Potts Point. On one side, back packers and the other cool restaurants. Lovely hotel.

A diamond in the rough. This boutique hotel is full of charm and a very friendly staff that are ready to serve. It's in a rough neighborhood that is slowly changing, but a healthy walk (45min) to the opera house end harbor Bridge. The breakfast is really good and if you have a large enough group, I definitely recommend trying to book the whole place. The bones of the building are a bit old and you can hear creaking here and there as other guests move around. It helps if those guest are your friends and family.

I stayed here for three nights at the beginning of a recent two-week trip to Australia and absolutely loved it. The staff were all exceptionally courteous and welcoming, my room incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the best part was the breakfast. I could fly back to Sydney just for that! Great walking distance from Opera House and Harbour, too.

This is a beautifully restored property where absolutely nothing has been overlooked. Attention to detail A+. Location is fantastic. If this is not enough, the staff were amazing. Personalized service where nothing was to much trouble. We felt at home. Overall one of the best hotel experiences ever. Thank you.
