Located in trendy Potts Point, Devere Hotel offers air-conditioned accommodation with flat-screen TVs. It features a restaurant and a business centre. Kings Cross, Sydney’s nightlife capital, is a 5-minute walk away.
The Apollo Restaurant serves authentic Greek and Mediterranean dishes using locally sourced produce.

Reviews of Devere Hotel 3*
The room was perfect for what we needed — very basic kitchen (only kettle and 2 cups for a coffee plus 2 normal glasses). It's alright if you are eating out like we did. There was no toilet brush in the toilet so you can't clean up after yourself. Other than that it's a nice little hotel. Would stay again.
A six — storey basic facility hotel. I stayed on the 4th storey and had to climb up a few steps after exiting the elevator as there are some rooms that are three steps above the elevator floor level. If you or your guest (s) require access for the disabled, be sure to request the hotel for rooms that are of the same level as the elevator floor. There are only three power outlets: one shaver outlet in the bathroom, one in the Pantry and one near the TV. Do bring along your own bank of power outlets so that you can charge your electronic devices conveniently. Plus points are that the Room is relatively spacious as the one I stayed in had three super single beds for my family while still allowing good space for circulation. While no bedroom slippers are provided, the carpeted flooring is clean and doesn't feel sticky when walking barefooted.

For a three star hotel, the DeVere is a definite recommend. The level of comfort in the hotel is definitely higher than the three stars would indicate. In addition to the obvious items, like a TV and a shower, there is a big comfy bed, a bath tub, a fridge, ironing board, an iron and AC/heater unit. The view from the rooms is hit or miss, but that happens in city hotels. The hall set up may be confusing at first because it's not intuitive, but there are plenty of signs that keep you on track. The hotel is located in an excellent location near everything including public transport. The only thing is that they serve an identical breakfast everyday and if you stay there more than a couple of days, it gets monotonous. But, then you can go to nearby restaurants to get something quick or not so quick. Overall, definitely recommend for the money.
