Went there for a meal & beer,,, & dessert.
Southern fried burger was delicious
& the beer was good too… The Staff were great & friendly & very attentive to the patrons & myself from my short experience…

We loved our night at the archer. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds.

Every week me and my husband come here for lunch was great to start with but it’s slowly going downhill we both had the steak lunch special steak was chewy and half the plate was full of salad.

Thanks very much to the Archer staff. We had a fantastic 18th Karaoke birthday party for my son last weekend in the function room. All had a great time, no issues and very helpful staff arranging the event and on the night.

Great place for dinner. We booked a large group dinner and they accommodated us by given us the function room and were happy to help with any additional requests. We were staying next door so it was handy for everyone.

Over priced, charge for anything extra, burnt food, poor service.

Positive. Room was large, quiet and clean. Check in girl was friendly and helpful. Free drink tickets were unexpected and a pleasant surprise. Not so positive We upgraded breakfast. We were advised at time of paying that bacon and hashbrowns would be a few minutes wait. I replied that was not an issue. 20 minutes later bacon was still not replenished. I approached the same (male staff member) who said he would check and again came back with it "would be 2 minutes". Finally 10 minutes after that bacon was finally placed into the warmer. A disappointing end to what otherwise was a good stay.

Stayed 2 nights. Very roomy comfortable room with an awesome bath. Complex had a pool, bit cool for that but the indoor spa was soooo good. The staff were all really nice. All our meals at the Archer were delicious and we loved our breakfast buffet. I can not fault our stay in any way. Oh and the beds were incredibly comfortable. 10 out of 10 here.

Had a quick two night stay to attend a wedding. Was a good price, that was the main reason we booked there. Had a lot of space in the rooms, they weren't fancy or modern by any means, but the bed was comfortable. Paid an extra 7 to upgrade to a hot breakfast one of the days, was really good and had our fill.

I was an overnight guest for 2 nights so can't say too much. The price for the room was reasonable and the place was decent. It wasn't any super luxurious or fancy place but for the price I paid it was great. The hot breakfast was awesome for an extra $7 dollars. Bed was comfy and place was great, only thing I disliked was that the carpet felt a bit dirty.

Stayed here for a wedding in town and the rooms are much more spacious than I expected. Was super comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Super thin walls, an odd smell in our room and some dirty cutlery in the cupboard, but the comfortable bed and amazing breakfast made up for it. Really cool layout and great pricing. Thanks! X.

Good but it so small, mall needs to be extended with more shops. More people in Nowra now one has to go to Lakelands mall for everything.

Spacious rooms with great beds, free breakfast and a full size tennis court. It was everything we needed.

Basic motel fair. Staff were great, promt and friendly, room was clean, facilities a little dated. AC/Heating worked a charm, bed was clean and comfy. Great value for the price and location. Good access to hotel, pub just outside and a Dan Murphy's.

Comfortable — updated rooms. Large and clean. Bit noisy with traffic but for 1 night didn't bother us too much. Breakfast included which was convenient, yum & a bonus. Affordable and enjoyable stay.

Beautifully cooked genuine flame grilled steak the best on the upper South Coast well worth stopping for a feed children friendly.

You pay too much for what get. You have to tune TV every time you want to use shower leaks. You get a free breakfast that is only ceral. To get a hot breakfast you have to pay $7

Friendly staff and clean rooms… no room keeping on Sunday, though. The whole establishment is rather worn. Nothing fancy and yes, there's only one single power outlet in the room — good luck with charging two phones at once. Breakfast is rather poor even after the extra paid-for "upgrade", which actually gets you the eggs, bacon and beans you have been longing for the whole night of desperate, endless trials of falling asleep — when the roar of the nearby-bar's patrons calms down, you get to hear the crappy late-night show from the adjanced room's TV. The workcrews mates having their beer every night right in the hallway add nice warm touch to the overall ambience of the place.

The room was beatiful — but how about you clean it even on Sundays? My bed cover was very thick apart from my brother he had a very thin one. The bathroom could be cleaner-once the lady that was cleaning she cleaned the mirror but it looked worse… also when I flushed the toilet most of the water came leaking from it — not very nice to step into toilet water… the carpet could also be cleaner… but the thing that I loved most was the breakfast — not only did it have warm amd cold food but a big range of diffrent foods.

Accommodation basic and could do with a refurb. Dinner at the bistro was tasty. A jumping castle set up outside for the kids. We ate in the beer garden — the was a cockroach plague outside which made things a bit uncomfortable.

Clean, good location, lovely staff — super helpful and friendly. Very noisy from patrons leaving the adjoining pub.

Not enough powerpoints. The beds were comfortable though. Internet is also pretty slow.

Good place to stay. Close to everything and breakfast was decent. Service was excellent by the staff.

Hotel is nice and tidy. Staff is good but not available after 10pm at night. It is located close to the Nowra shopping complex that has Woolworths and Kmart. Nice place for a weekend holiday. Ideal for small or big groups. Has a nice swimming pool and barbeque area as well.

Although this is a 1970's design and style of hotel our rooms had been upgraded. They were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and value for money. The only downside was the road noise. Would stay there again.

Hubby and I are staying here at the moment (this is a different fb account) amazing service will definitely be coming back in the future hopefully will be able to use the spa next time as we didn't get a chance to this time around. The staff are lovely didn't eat at the bistro due to religious reason but everything smelt amazing when we went through and breakfast was beautiful thank you so much for an amazing experience since the circumstances for being here aren't the best.

Its ok but I prefer to go to other places as they are better.

I booked ahead and stated my 80yr old mother was with me on the trip so we needed 2 beds and a ground floor room… the archer was very accommodating and gave us a room with bathroom fully equipped with railings and shower seat for mum and the room was also close to the dining room for breakfast … yes would def recommend the Archer at Nowra.

Was an good place to stay overnight (however not what we pictured with the photos). Staff are very friendly and very accomodating. Rooms need a refresh, we had mold all over our bathroom walls but everything worked and closed and the bed was comfy just a bit small only being a double. Breakfast we upgraded and food was a bit cold but very tasty. We ate at the pub for dinner and food was delicious and drinks are reasonably priced. Thanks for our night in nowra.

There for the Open Mic Night two weeks running. Live music, great people, friendly staff and colourful locals mix for a great night.

Dirty, hair all over the bathroom sink and shower thats why I only give it one star. Guess the cleaner didn't do a good job. Over than that comfy bed good size bedroom. Good bkfast check out the pub right in front of the hotel, very nice staff and good offer.

Refurbished rooms. Very nice and clean. Free Wi-Fi in rooms. Parking right outside your room. Continental breakfast. Only downside is located on the busy hwy no double glazed glass so a bit noisy.

Good place however it needs a serious face lift. (maybe new management? ) Examples I can think of is the parking in the main courtyard with pot holes left and right as well as the simple settings inside the room. On the bright side, the location is prime with Jervis Bay just a drive down or Stockland supermarkets the other way.

The drive way needs major repair there were pot holes every where. The building needs a holiday atmosphere. The room was out of date. It feels dirty and unwelcome. The swimming pool wooden fence needs repair. Breakfast was terrible. Staff was vacuuming while we were having breakfast. Customer service was very bad. Staff enter the room without knocking on the door while my husband was in the toilet. I am trying to find something positive but I can't. I feel that the all place needs to be knock down and rebuilt.

Stayed in a room where — — — gap between door frame and wall was approx 1 cm wide causing a draught, fridge was small & not defrosted, stain on carpet, shower has no soap holder and soap leftover from preveous guest was left on top of shower frame, driveway outside main reception & to rooms had numerous pot holes — — motel looks nice from the outside but this is not what one noticed on the inside.

Avoid at all cost. Rooms and furniture are run down and good for the dump given the price asked. Electricity sockets in our room didn't work except in the bathroom. Stains all over the carpet. Best of all we got robbed during the night when someone broke into our room. The place has no security cameras or overnight personnel. The management offered us a generous 20% discount for all the trouble. Avoid!

You definitely get what you pay for here. Rooms are very basic, but clean (although the half-used shampoo and conditioner bottles were still in the shower recess from the last people). Oh, if it's raining, you can forget about TV reception.

Good Pub To Av A Nice Quite Drink And A Lucky Place To Gamble Either On Da Pokies Or Da Races.

I would not recommend staying here as my child got scabies from our visit.

I really liked it, It was not a luxury hotel, more like a motel :D, but very nice and clean rooms, great price, and continental breakfast was OK. Very kind and nice staff.
