Nice staff and spacious room. Not many options for food except an overpriced breakfast pack or cheese and crackers but we weren't expecting much. Room was clean throughout and a comfy bed. Handy little kitchenette too.

A large room with cozy, comfortable settings and amenities. One of the top hospitable people I have met at a reception.

Beautiful and spacious hotel with neat and clean amenities and plenty of parking spaces. Offers tranquil experience. The backside is the river where you can take nice walks. It would have been great if they also had a restaurant. Overall experience was great.

Rooms are better than average with plenty of space. The face to face service I experienced was minimal but pleasant and friendly. Location is a 10 minute walk from the main Street where there are numerous restaurants and shops.

Stayed in a Riverview Queen Room. Despite the reviews I had read, we weren't really expecting too much when we arrived. However, it soon became apparent why this place was rated so highly… plenty of parking, friendly and helpful staff on check-in, gardens well kept and clean and overall good feel. The hallways have nice carpeting, and well decorated, giving a more upmarket feel than expected. Then the room itself. Much bigger than a typical motel room. Lots of space and many places to put bags and bits and pieces. And the view lived up to the name! Good sized balcony with table and two chairs gives sweeping view over the garden and walking track to the Murrumbidgee River flowing past the big gum trees on the riverbank — an extremely pleasant outlook. The view and morning sun was so enticing we had breakfast out on the balcony even though it was winter. Bathroom was large and extremely clean. Bed linen was freshly laundered and bed comfortable. They have no inhouse restaurant, but there are numerous options available a short stroll away in Wagga Wagga CBD. A surprisingly enjoyable stay and would certainly stay again if in the area.

Loved our room and the facilities eg guest laundry room the courtyard and access to the walkway along the Murrumbidgee. Good size kitchenette and bathroom. And the option to walk to the main shopping malls. Would most definitely recommend The Lawson Motor Inn.

The rooms were great, they were clean and had all furniture you would need and a good selection of TV channels, a really nice spacious bathroom and comfortable beds, the only downfall was the current renovations that have caused them to close their kitchen temporarily. Would recommend.

Great location, rooms very spacious with a beautiful view of the river. Got a free upgrade on arrival and the service was fantastic. This is the second time we have stayed here and would highly recommend it to others.

The Lawson is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms I stayed in was big and beautiful with a full sized bathroom (including a massive shower! ) and a beautiful kitchen, complete with full sized fridge and microwave. I was very impressed.
