My partner and I just want to thank you for your world class service. Our room was very spacious and we immediately felt like we were home on our holiday 😍 another thing we are so grateful for is your honesty and integrity. Your cleaner advised that my partner left some items and we have now received them back today via post. We will definitely be making this a yearly family spot for ourselves because of the service you guys have us. We cannot thank you enough for the hospitality we received 👏🏽 Definitely will recommend to our friends and family 🥰

Fantastic location with great pool and spa. Staff very helpful. Only short walk to great cafes, restaurants and beaches. Apartment 69 is awesome overlooking the pool with bay glimpses.

Great location place was clean but because we booked through Groupon we didn't get a apartment with a balcony but I guese you get what you paid for the accomodation was very cheap. We have stayed there before

We recently had a five day break at this wonderful resort. Great location, awesome for the kids and very helpful staff. Everything in Nelson was a five minute walk — when we pulled ourselves away from the resort! … Would definitely stay again. Shannon.

We stayed in a 3 BR unit for 3 nights. Great location. Strolls away from woolies, restaurants, or the marina. The unit is spacious and clean. Rooms are spacious too. Starting to feel a bit old though. Quiet area and comes with parking space. Good size swimming pool and clean. Non smoking throughout the unit and complex.

These are lovely spacious modern apartments. Great views and a strict no smoking policy. Perfect. But they also won’t let you have your own BBQ to cook steaks on your balcony — maybe it’s considered offensive like smoke? Although there were a couple of other items that others might find a tad disappointing. One being the cleanliness of one of the bathrooms,,, old soap scum hadn’t been removed correctly, plus the seats provided are a little uncomfortable, and the bedding covers aren’t the best. I prefer doona and sheets rather than blankets and sheets… the beds themselves are beautiful with nice hard mattresses. These are just tiny blimps on a lovely apartment. And I’m only being picky and telling it as honest as I can.

Nice quiet holiday for two. Apartment is clean and comfortable. Gym is small and average. Pool is nice and solar heated. Tip. Avoid school holidays time.

Just got back from 2 nights at the Mantra. This is about the sixth time we have stayed. Room 48 this time. Must say we were totally impressed with the whole place getting a spruce up. The whole place was clean and tidy. Beautiful rooms and beds. We felt like we were coming home. Just love it and making plans to come back up in the new year. Watched a beautiful sunset on the beach with dolphins swimming by. Truly a magical place.

Large sized rooms and a great big pool. Near the main attractions and markets. Plus a really friendly staff. Really good for the price.

The three bedroom apartments are generously sized and reasonably well equipped. A coffee plunger would be my only addition. The blocks are being renovated and there is a difference between new and old. The ground floor apartments facing way from the pool suffer from lack of natural light on account of having a high wall surround the patio. The pool and spa are nice. The gym is a joke — tiny and with only 3 cardio machines and a broken cable machine. Location is excellent and free parking.

Wot a great place to stay for the golfer, best course around great wild life setting and a challenging course, great rooms and very friendly staff highly recommend it will be back again.

Swimming pool doesn't cater for any kids under 5, the lowest point is 1 meter, they have a silly fountain which these kids are suppose to run around in. No AC in the bedrooms, only a split in the lounge. No gym area The road leading in/out of the hotel is unfit for walking with a pram unless you wish to push it on the road.

My family and I came here for a getaway in this beautiful Nelson Bay. We chose Mantra Aqua as a place to start. I highly recommend for family if you guys looking for a place to stay and also let the kids enjoy the beautiful pools and kids playground. 8mins walk to the D'albora Marinas and shops is amazing. Location is good. Room is full equipped and air con is good. My family enjoyed everything here. They also have a small gym and boardgames for kids. This resort is worth the money. Check in was fast and clear. Bike hire is also provided. I have nothing to complain. It's very good.

Good accomodation at a great location for a family stay. Large 2br, 2 bath, kitchen apartments with plenty of space for the family. Good pool for the kids and family. Location is great, about 3 minutes walk to the middle of town and 5 to the marina, lots of cafes and restaurant options an easy walk. Minor criticisms would be that air con is only to the lounge, main bedroom may get warm during a heatwave, although they do have ceiling fans. Wifi costs extra and seemed flaky, we just used 4G.

Our favorite place to stay in Nelson Bay! Clean and spacious rooms. Great swimming pool and spa. Close to shops, restaurants and the beach, of course ;)

While only visiting family that were holidaying there we did get to see the resort and IMO it was a resort I would definitely consider staying at. The rooms were reasonably sized, the amenities were clean and comfortably relaxing and so was the pool, however if you are a smoker you may want to look elsewhere as the resort is a non smoking resort that when wanting to have a cigarette I had to go all the way out the front entrance of the property as there is nowhere to smoke anywhere.

Perfectly good accomodation for the price range. Clean, well equipped, great location to town, lovely pool, all our needs were met.

Brill… really nice place, plenty shops nearby. 3 bedroom apartment. 2 bathroom/showers. Good size rooms. Mines was huge. Lounge is huge. Lovely…

Good apartment. We booked for 2 families and enjoyed. But this is very much pricey.

We had a family vacation for a few days in February. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The location was great for us, close to town but also quiet. The room on first arriving was great, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room with plenty of space. However it does require maintenance, we had 2 minor incidents which really could have been avoided if the room was maintained well. Unless they just were not aware of it before us. Amenities were great, pool and surrounding area were always clean and maintained. Would go back and recommend for anyone, especially families.

Nice place. Great if you are a non smoker. No smoking on property at all. If you do smoke look elsewhere.

Second experience with Mantra Group. First time at Mantra Aqua. I can assure you it wont be the last. Both Mantra experiences were top notch. My "Go To" accommodation whenever and wherever I take my family on holidays. But I definitely have to mention the staff, from the ladies at reception, to the room service and to the maintenance guys that were servicing us between Tuesday 6th February to Friday 9th February. They were incredible, took care of us all the way through. My family are very grateful. Thank you. See you guys next time.

We enjoy staying at Mantra Aqua with features such as : convenient and secure parking, lift access, clean and modern apartments, with restaurants, shops, supermarket and cafes all within walking distance. The friendly and efficient staff are an added bonus.

Very poor service. The room was filthy when we first got here and we have been here now for over a week and it still hasn't been serviced when they advertise a mid week service for any stays over 7 days. Very poor for Mantra quality. For the price we are paying you would expect a good sized 2 bedroom apartment however we got the smallest 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom. Very surprised that Mantra has their name on this accommodation. Very poor.

Very disappointed with the 3 bedroom apartment we stayed at. To me it was more a 3 star than 4. It needs a thorough clean and maintenance. There's one A/C unit in the far corner of the living room and the air doesn't reach the bedrooms which are at the other end. There was rubbish under the sofas. Kitchen window very stiff and hard to open, the stove top fan sounds like a jumbo jet, bathroom citrines take forever to fill up, Wi-Fi didn't work, no strainer in kitchen (they bought one the next day after we complained), dishwasher didn't clean properly we believe it's the rubbish powder they provide as it doesn't desolve, etc etc : (

Lovely place. Huge apparment. Bookcase full of books and dvds was awesome. Nice pool but swamped by kids over weekend. For some reason car park was different building to room, so a lot of walking to arrive and then depart. If you want a quiet weekend ask to NOT overlook pool — the kids play noise is loud and continous sunrise to sunset.

A terrific spot for families and couples. Pool is clean, warm and salty. Kitchen well equipped. Wee bit of maintenance required eg fly screens and light globes.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom Penthouse Suite. It was modern and very clean. It had both a pool view and an ocean view. The lorikeets visited our balcony on a daily basis which was lovely. The gardens are well maintained. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The Resort is within walking distance to the shops and the bay. I can definitely highly recommend a stay here and am happy to do so. Thankyou for a lovely getaway.

Second time we have been here now. And loved it even more the second time. The rooms were perfect, each with an ensuite. Staff soo friendly and helpful always prompt. Will definitely be back again!

We stayed at the Mantra after securing a TV travel show promo offer. We had exceptional customer service from Melanie at reception. The apartment is very clean and the resort very close to all Nelson Bay has to offer. Excellent.

Great for families. Try to avoid a pool view room unless screaming kids are music to your ears. Nice outdoor barbecue area with plenty of seating. Short walk into Nelson Bay. My kids really like this place.

Perfect place for stay. Indian restaurants are walkable distance. Walkable distance to beach. Have swimming pool and good car parking. Nice place to stay.

Place is a little run down. Looks like they are doing small bits of maintenance but it still needs a really good clean. Dont expect ocean views unless you literally want to hang off your balcony to aee them. The penthouse is huge and a great space for families. Pool and spa area good.

Great location, close to everything, fantastic pool and hot tub, did say heated pool but was still very cold, but hot tub/spa was great. Lovely staff, also loved our two bedroom apartment. We'll be back in summer. Thanks Mantra Aqua Resort.

Great stay over the Easter weekend, superior two bedroom apartment. Very clean, close to the town centre and harbour. One piece of advice, make sure when checking out give your self plenty of time, the lifts are dreadful. Alway full of other people checking out and housekeepers and there trolleys. Waiting around 10 minutes each time I needed the lift to take luggage down to car park. That would be the only downside of this relaxing weekend. I would stay here again.

Excellent location close to shops and marina which was perfect for us as we had some younger boys with us. The overall mantra experience was great. The pool looks amazing. Was told it's solar heated but didn't feel like it at all. There were a couple of things that weren't up to scratch in the room. Wish the TV in the master bedroom was a bigger very hard to see. Other then those little things it's a great place to spend a few nights up here in Nelson Bay.

The food was nice and reasonably priced with a cool selection of items on the menu (mainly bbq focused). The service was also good and the atmosphere was quite pleasent as well. Overall a good resturant with nice food and the next time im up at nelson bay ill probably eat there again.

Staff were great, rooms were spacious, Wi-Fi was not very good at all, nice pool area and bbq area, kids games room pretty poor.

I cuold not finished my holidays because the facilities of the place are not good for disability persons. I had a lot of problems in the bath, in the spa and with support in the reception for to have a special information.

Nelsons bay, the rooms were neat and clean on arrival. The location was amazing, being able to walk to the marina and other attracrions in the area.

Good holiday resort with spacious, clean rooms and great location. They just need to renew kitchenware and look after the kitchen appliances. The dishwater in our unit wasn't washing properly.

A nice room, but poolside rooms are noisy in the mornings so if you like a sleep in, find a room in Building A. Way too many kids in the pool for my liking.

Stayed for a long weekend. Had a great time and the location was an easy walk to everything.
