Manager Matt is an arrogant and most poor in customer service. 3 phone calls to book a unit. Did not return any calls in return. Swearing over the phone. Definitely not going to stay at serenity until a change of management.

We just stayed 5 nights and long enough to enjoy some much needed rain and feed some wild life

I found this resort a perfect location for family gatherings. Management couldn’t do enough to help make our experience the best!

This place I will definitely come back to, love how the spa cabins are so conveniently built. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, spa, outdoor gas bbq as well as a outdoor shower to wash off the sand before entering the cabin, all so very clean, thank you for making my family stay a memorable one.

We stayed here as a stop over on the way to Sydney great value very clean and nice rooms for the price.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Serenity. We had a surprise birthday party for my wife's birthday and Matt politely answered all of my crazy questions during the planning. One of the best little holiday's we've had as a family and the only thing that would have made it better is if we had more time there. The house we stayed in as well as the cabins our guests stayed in were exceptionally clean, well maintained and comfortable. The beautiful beach was only 2 minutes walk away. The resort itself had a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We had a few kids under 3 with us who all had a great time and as parents, we felt it was easy to keep them occupied in a fun and safe manner during our stay. As we were visiting in colder months, couldnt fully utilise the pool but could only imagine how fantastic it would all be when it's warmer. We will definitely be returning for regular trips to our new Bonidoon. Thank you Matt (and team). Love your work.

Friendly welcome on arrival. Great access to the beach. Great inside & outside gym equipment. Beautiful pools unfortunately too cold to swim this time of year maybe they could heat both pools & spa. Clean rooms. Plenty of bird life & wallabies. Just what we needed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beach front One bedroom apartments. We had the magnificent sunsets from our deck on one side in the afternoons and in the mornings sunrise and the ocean in view while hearing the waves crash upon the beach from our balcony. Both having the kookaburras coming up close and personal but a large array of beautiful birds around, wallabies, kangaroos, rabbits and hares. A beautiful private setting with everything you could possibly need including a spa bath in our apartment, great set up and lay out. Literally a short 5 minute walk if that to the beach itself passing the resort pool on the way. We enjoyed chilling in the evenings with the free DVDs provided along with utilising the serenity wellness centre where Amm excels in every aspect of her business from the moment you walk through the door and are cheerfully greeted with her welcoming presence and smile to the natural aromas that fill your senses beckoning you to unwind and relax.
Today my husband and I can definitely agree that today’s Thai massage was by far the best massage we’ve both ever had in our lives from start to finish. I’m still amazed at how great I feel in body and mind and that a few problem areas that I entered with have been left behind with me having new movement and now no pain. Ohhhh and the aroma left on your skin — Devine!
Our time here was not long enough at all and we will be back for the full experience again.

Diamond beach serenity resort is awesome and I would recommend it to everyone. Choice of two pools, resort style pool adjacent to beach and a smaller pool near to kids club and gym. We had a very relaxing long weekend fishing on the beach, swimming in the resort style pool, walking in the adjacent nature reserve and taking a five minute drive to black head for groceries, good coffee and ice cream. Each villa is uniquely designed, offering complete privacy and has a patio with BBQ and a carport. Villas are self contained with each bedroom having ensuite bathroom, kitchen and washing facilities. Very clean and comfortable.

This place is my favourite time out and relaxation destination. The serenity and quietness is amazing. A walk on the beach where there is no one, just the water and endless sand… 5 minutes to the shops if needed and 20 minutes to forster… The cottages are quaint always clean and tidy. Nobody to disturb you, but anything you need, is given asap. I'll definitely be back again.

Certainly not 4 star. After someone leaves they need to check the place. Windows left open in vacant places so weather comes in. Rubbish is left till the day a new client comes in. We saw cleaners break a screen door and leave it. The units are privately owned and I feel sorry for the investors as its not very well managed. The gym cant be used as its full of furniture. We were considering investing in a unit or two and stayed for month to observe how its run and get a realistic view of clientele. This was the second time in 2yrs Sorry until it improves we wont be investing. Its has so much potential.

Beautiful location, units were great. Fridge didn't work well in ours, neither did air con, bbq was rusted so we didn't use it. Apart from that we really enjoyed the place.

The first greeting at reception was not that great. The lady wasn’t very welcoming at all. The accommodation itself was good but kitchen utensils for cooking is not that great. We stayed for 4 days and only cooked 1 dinner. The stove top was too small to make pasta and pasta sauce at the same time. Pointless having 2 stove tops if you can’t use both at the same time. The best part of this resort is definitely the beach. Resort itself was good but the little touches would have made a big difference.

A place to be with your family away from the crazy life in Sydney, enjoying quality time with the loved ones, we have been to so many other holiday resort with the kids and they loved every second of it at this resort especially when you 6 children could not recommend any other place.

Nice place, great location. The furniture of the rooms and the carpets need to be cleaned or changed as they are extremely dirty and shabby looking. Aside from this issue it's a great place to spend a night or two.

Wonderful physical location. The Ramada is tired and way, way too expensive for what it is. More a holiday park than a resort. The lady looking after the restaurant on the evening of the 6th Jan 2018 was really great though.

Not bad for the kids: pool and kids club. Not much for the parents. Place needed to be cleaner. Cleaners do not move anything to clean, only what they can see. When kids club is on, the parents cannot get a drink\coffee as it is closed. Here is a free tip: employ a young person to serve drinks\cocktail\coffee during kids club, and use the profits to employ cleaners who understand what there job is. Won't be back.

Great for families. Can hear the ocean at night from my room. So relaxing. Staff are lovely.

Overall I loved the experience however here are some positives and negatives! Negatives: — Decently kept lot, quite a bit of dust on windows, lightning was bad (some light did not work at all). — Not much to do except beach, pool and cycling ($5/hr or 20$/day) Positives: — 2 mins to the amazing diamond beach — beautiful pool area — rooms and bathrroms were adequate (you dont spend much time in there anyway, TO THE BEACH! ) — Quality toilet paper am I right!? I would recommend this to anyone who is coming mainly for the beach and quality family time, if you're expecting a lavish, 5star resort then you will be dissatisfied. A very memorable Christmas Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The resort facilities were amazing and everything we could have asked for. Asked for late checkout and upgraded to a beach house. It was our wedding anniversary weekend with the family. Matthew (owner) and the staff were very accommodating. 5 stars will be back. Everyone must visit!

Beautiful location. Nice and quiet. Modern, clean and well appointed units.

A great weekend away in a lovely spot. The managers and staff were awesome… we had a flat battery and they helped us out, taking time out from their Father's Day celebrations. They made us coffee even though the restaurant want technically open yet, gave us an extended checkout so we could enjoy our Father's Day and we're super friendly at dinner. Overall an awesome weekend. We'll be back for sure!

I haven't stayed at the resort but have visited whilst shooting weddings and visiting friends who have stayed there. The resort is always clean and well looked after.

Location is beautiful Facilities are tremendous Maintenance is also very nice Environment also very good Prices are very much reasonable.

Just didn't have the atmosphere that would make me come back, although the food at Blackhead Bowling Club was fantastic.

Nice 2 bedroom villa unit, clean, comfortable. Well located very close to the beach. Could do with electric blankets for winter. Very close to nature.

Nice resort, good unpatrolled beach, easy drive to local shopping village at Black Head, Forster and Taree both 20 mins away.

We had a girls weekend away over Easter. This place is very clean, helpful staff. Nice and peaceful. Great for families… The only criticism is the lack of choice of clubs. We drove around looking for the golf club that was advertised. It didn't seem to exist. We spent two nights at the same Tavern, which had no live music or any music at all.

Having a 3 night stay here with friends, this is our last night but have loved it. Great accommodation and pool area. We spent mornings on the beach just a timber board walk over the pool bridge to beach. Dined in the restaurant last night and had a beautiful meal.
Only negative, not enough sunlounges around the pool for such a big place.
We will return though im sure.

Had the best time at diamond beach ramada resort frendly staff and it's so relaxing I recommend this place to everyone.

When your only complaint is that they should provide spare garbage bags you know it's pretty damn good… We'll come back in summer to check out the surf and the pool!

Very good value as a family retreat. The gymnasium needs a refresh (although gymnasiums at all such resorts do tend to be drab), otherwise okay.

Returned for the 4th year — loved it once again.

Had a wonderful time and the staff were so friendly and went o out of their way to make my stay a one to remember.
