Pizza was amazing. Accommodation is clean.

We stayed on the 17th August. Shower pressue amazing, hot water, nice new bed. Thats it. I turned the shower on and got wet water was coming from the ceiling. The wall was atrocious. There was paint pealing off the wall. The room was terrible paint pealing everywhere, wires hanging out, no microwave, basin in the room, could open the cupboard. I am sure this type of a room would not be allowed to rented. We could of been warned when making a booking. Not happy at all.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We stayed the night here. Didn’t realise there was bingo on. Went down stairs to grab something to eat n drink after a very big day of travel! Next minute. In walks these 2 huge drag queens! Welcome to Goulburn! Bingo night it was! I have not laughed so much! Thank you so much Roxy and Ellaworra. That was one of the best nights myself n hubby have had in years! Great food, hit the spot drinks, the room was just what we needed! Hot air con, hot water, and incredible entertainment! THANK YOU!

I was locked out of my room for a couple of hours. The staff were lovely complimentary drink and a free dinner for the inconvenience. Really appreciated this…very kind. Thank you 🙏

My kids and I got a suite and a 1 bedroom apartment and They were both clean and super spacious.
Everyone was super happy and we honestly had the best time I would absolutely recommend it to everyone.

We stayed at Astor Hotel Motel. Not only did we feel welcome, safe and were greeted with smiles in a very tough time for country NSW. We watched the footy, made friends AND they went out of their way to send me my makeup bag back. 5 stars Thank you Thank you.

Went for dinner, mullet dude blankly ignore me at the bar then must of snapped out of it and decided to serve. Went and ordered dinner — $100 later with almost an hour later still no food. Wasn't busy. Check on order and they hadn't started cooking. Apparently the order didn't go through.

Lovely place to stay and very quiet at the night time, easy to access with local stores along the Auburn Street, big retailers and moreover you'll find yourself surrounding by historical buildings around the city blocks.

Great all in one destination comfortable rooms and great food at reasonably prices.

The bar area and food service was excellent. The hotel however was not great very run down. Usually you can park at the door of your room but we were told to park on the street which is unacceptable.

Very disappointed with the meals. I ordered the gnocchi, which I have had in the past but the serve I received was tiny (less than half the previous serve I have had). When it was brought to the chefs attention, he dismissed it and stated it was the standard serve. I left not being even close to full or satisfied and unfortunately paying for a very expensive meal.

Close to the shopping centre for food and drinks.

The central location works well, just park the car and walk around town shops and clubs and restaurants. The adjacent hotel serves lovely meals. Very comfortable bed clean bathroom. Reasonable rates.

I went to the Astor Hotel just for a short period. It seem alive and had a fair few people there. I didn't stay long but there was no complaints I can pinpoint.

Issue with our booking. Resulting in having to pay more than original booking. But they handled it with a great deal of respect and definitely lost profit with the room we were given.

Friendly bar staff, always welcoming and remember you, fantastic musicians play there all the time from 1 man bands to duos and trio's, amazing food, you can order off menu secret items which are my favourite by just asking. I highly recommend the Astor for a great place to drink and dine!

Stopped by for lunch on our way to Sydney and ordered the $15 steak on offer. Wasn’t pleased as when the steak came, it was burnt and smothered in gravy to hide the black. Spoke to the cook, and he said that the steak looks and taste like it does because of the stove. Didn’t offer to cook another one, and quite honestly was rude about the situation. Wouldn’t order the steak again. All the other food for my family was quite pleasing and enjoyable. Such a shame I had to eat elsewhere on the road.

My initial impression was not good. Person on reception kept me waiting for several minutes while chatting on what was clearly a personal call. That is where the negatives end. Room was small but extremely clean and well presented. Quiet enough for pub style venue and food very well priced and tasty. Exceeded my expectation — particularly for the price.

Friendly hosts and staff. The suite we stayed in was good. Less expensive rooms are average. Good location to restaurants and shops.

Good luck to find a parking nearby. I used to leave my car at the ALDI parking area. Very poor cleaning, all bathrooms I used awful, hair and dust everywhere. Too cold city to the"always open bathroom window" concept. Room 14 — small, old and dirty — disgusting avoid it Room 22 — average, spacious — air con noisy — for longer stay, stinky fridge Room 34 — very modern, renovated, small — good for 1-2 nights,

Our Pub! Best poured beer in town by a mile. Foods always amazing and service is OUTSTANDING! We also hired upstairs for a 60th bday party. Everyone had a great night and that is partly due to the staff at the Astor. Bobby and the guys/girls always go above and beyond any normal regular service. Fully recommend!

This place is great for budget stop with pets, however you do incur a fee for having one. Parking is terrible no where near enough spaces and if the hotel bistro is packed good luck finding street parking. However the staff we're very friendly and accommodating.

Service non existent — literally told to find our own seat. Then ordered and given buzzers to collect food ourselves. Drinks bar had an Eftpos minimum so very lucky I had cash on me. Then when food came it was not nice. I ordered a chicken parmigiana and it simply was bland and the cheese and ham tasted cheap.

Rooms are very outdated, minimalistic and grossly over priced. There were no spare pillows, roof in bathroom was open and exposed and as a result the rain can in making everything wet. Bistro food was very over priced. Sign in the room said much need renovations were being undertaken and if not happy to see reception for an upgrade at an extra charge. Our luck there were no rooms available, can’t wait to leave and will never stay here again.

New accommodation is very nice. I rated 4 stars. Would get 5 if stocked minibar, room service and movies. Pub is small but very nice.

Great food! We had a scotch fillet and a t-bone cooked perfectly with whipped mash and seasonal vegetables. Can highly recommend. Thanks to the chef and staff. We are not locals just passing through.

What a joke of a hotel! Overpriced loud nothing works its a dump. Lights don't work, the staff are rude I've stayed in places half the price and twice as good. Look elsewhere people.

We were given the option to upgrade to a suite at a slight cost, but so glad we did. They're so brand new, you can still smell it. Even the use of a lift to our 1st floor room. Bistro food (closes at 9pm) is delicious & the staff are great. Lovely soft bed & everything is at our fingertips. Definitely recommend.

For a place that's clearly gone through recent refurbishment in the hotel it was very run down in the motel family rooms, both for decor and regular maintenance. The car parks offered to motel guests weren't reserved, so we had to park on the street. Very affordable and the beds were comfortable, but without update I'd prefer to stay elsewhere.

Great stay — clean and quiet. Nice staff and nicely kept rooms (we got the cheapest). Above our expectation — don't listen to other reviews! We are travelling north and were hesitant from prior reviews but really was worth the 85$! Also Great pub with what we saw, friendly locals!

We just go for dinner. Very busy Friday and Saturday nights. Food quality consistent. Menu felt limited particularly for kids. Environment pleasant. Table availibility on Fri, Sat has been difficult. Bar drinks and cocktails expensive.

The food was Okay. Ribs were small but Caesar salad was great. The rooms were average and the bathroom was a strange set up. The windows were painted over so absolutely no natural light in shower and toilet. Mini fridge and air con. 3 beds in a double room. NO parking. There are less than half (Of The amount of rooms) car spots available. Had to park down the street.

The bar staff were hilarious and friendly and made the visit great fun. All the locals seemed to love it as well and their kitchen was pumping! Definitely coming back this time for dinner and drinks not just drinks.

We stayed in a room that had been recently renovated. Really nice and comfortable. However, there was a band playing at The Attic, which was quite loud. Good location and friendly staff.

All good for a country hotel. Staff had a good sense of humor. Nice fireplace in the pub too.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here everything was at your fingertips. Amazing meal and staff couldn't have been more helpful. This is something that really highlights your stay. Service throughout was fantastic would certainly recommend.

We booked last minute and chose the suite, the price was amazingly cheap and also receiving $30 credit for the bistro downstairs, the staff are extremely friendly and the food was amazing, fresh, and delicious, now for the suite, it is spacious, extremely clean, and so comfortable. WELL DONE ASTOR HOTEL the renovations done to the suites are done with taste and very modern, the furniture are comfortable (every chair and couch), and the bed, all I can say is I want the company name and name of the bed so I can buy myself one. The bathroom is divine and to supply your customers with all the nesecities is brilliant. You earned your 5 stars if not more. Thank you so much. From Alex & Linda Smirnow.

I was lucky enough to stay in one of these beautiful high class suits for my bday. I will definitely be coming back.

Well located just near main street shops. Our room strongly smelt of cigarette smoke. Very cheap to stay at but probably wouldn't stay there again. It suffices for an overnight stay. Would be ideal for people drinking at the bar on site… not wanting to drive home. The bar at the front is very modern this was definitely not matched in our room upstairs.

Astro Hotel Motel Goulbuen the worst hotel ever experienced, according to the price nothing wort at all, no heater and Aircondition is not working no power most of time individual rooms if you call no one answer. Never go back and not recommended.

This place is nothing like the photos. A poor quality accommodation. Air conditioner dead. A blow heater to replace it. Bathroom is a vvery dimly lit freezer box. The windows are wedged open. The bedroom is in need of major TLC. The linen is old and the extra blanket is grubby. Not sure what is on the floor in front of the sink. I'm just had a shower really and truely hot and powerful. Yeah! 1

Mold, no locks on doors, windows that dont shut among with questionable or absent electrical fithings. Cheap but very nasty.

Astor Hotel is our local hangout and it's amazing. Friendly staff, great food and atmosphere. Our favourite place in Goulburn!

Location ok, and price cheap, facility a little bit old, shower room need some renovation.

It was a nice hotel but really hot as there was no air conditioning and not all the buttons on the TV remote worked, but otherwise you are getting what you pay for ☺

Rooms were clean for the right price. Food at the bar was excellent.

Fantastic food. Smiling friendly staff. Always a great evening. I have been here many times since moving to goulburn in may.
