We broke down at 2:30am and they had a room for us ready at 3am! free continental breakfast, very clean rooms. Would come back again. Thanks again!

Fabulous room service and the steak was beautiful. Wi-Fi was very good and bed was comfy. Most importantly, had a great hot shower in the morning, absolutely loved it.

For what it is, it ticked all the boxes. Clean, everything worked and it was good to find pet friendly accommodation. Pity it appears to cost more than a normal room, especially when you could have patrons who could mess things up more than responsible pet owners.

Our work company seems to have a contract with this place cause we have to finish a project in Goulburn. We’ve been staying here for couple of weeks and everyone loves it! Conveniently located, nice rooms, good Wi-Fi and happy staff. Apparently our company has made a great choice.

Paper thin walls, put a meal on the room and got harassed to pay it even though we were staying another night. Only good thing was the fact we could take our dog. Rude staff tiny shower/toilet. Recommend camping instead.

My dog and I had a lovely time in this pet friendly motel. The room is very clean and modern and we ordered room service to be delivered into our room, it was the best steak I have ever had!

Very clean, fresh nd modern rooms. Friendly helpful staff, breakfast included. It was a busy night and lots of cars arriving and leaving created noise in the night, otherwise great accom.

Terrible Management here. Wanted to add $37 for pet (most motels charge $10-$15) after non refundable room fee paid. Wouldn't even discuss a refund so had to spend night in car with dog. Just pure greed on display at Christmas time.

A nice beautiful motel conveniently located just off the highway. Rooms are spotless clean and modern. Family room was spacious and my kids loved the bunk beds.

A warm welcome after a long drive! The woman at the reception could not have been kinder or more helpful; the room was immaculate and comfortable. The location is perfect for either a stay in Goulburn or to break a long trip as it is not far off the freeway, and close to shops and amenities. A lovely breakfast and again warm and welcoming staff in the restaurant. I would highly recommend, and this will definitely be my 'go to' motel on similar trips.

Stayed here over the school holiday with family. The room was modern and clean. Bed was comfy and shower was hot. Had the best steak ever in the restaurant!

Receptionist Teneille was very sweet! Very welcoming check in and bought the breakfast and dinner package, which was great value!

The rooms were clean enough, however the TV did not work properly (channels were intermittent, had to repeteadly turn it off and on again when the sound cut out) the iron ruined my dress shirt and I spent 40 minutes cleaning it. The room service was unaivalable and the rooms do not have any plates or cutlery. The rooms do have a kettle however you can only quarter fill them as it doesnt fit under the only basin which is seperated from the bathroom. The toilet is too close to the wall which makes ablutions difficult without riding side saddle. Overall I wouldnt stay at the Lilac City Motor Inn unless they go through some major renovations.

Great Motel in a Great Location, Just they make no Attempt to stop the Cigarette smoking in fact appears to encourage it by placing smoking tins at each door, which ends up in your room, wouldnt stay again (they need to have a smoking area away from the motel.

Great place to stay, very friendly staff the young girl at the front desk was very polite and helped us find our room. The rooms were clean and renovated which was lovley. The free continental breakfast was great! went to the steak house for dinner and have a delicious meal. Highly recommend staying here when passing through Goulburn.

The restaurant was terrible. Cooked steak medium rare, asked medium well & when called them over said would take 30mins to cook another steak so I elected to eat part of meal. No discount offered & terrible service. Th staff couldn't give a damn. Rooms, pay for what you get. Would I come back, no purely from the lack of care frpm staff.

Family room was lovely. 2 x AC, queen bed, single bed, bunk bed plus pull out couch. Internet was lightning fast for all of us =? NBN. Didn't try restaurant. Overall great experience for a stop over.

It was comfortable, warm, inviting, had elec blankets on all beds. It was very clean and we all loved the breakfast and free Wifi that was included. All the staff were friendly and Ivan stayed on till late to book us in. Loved that it was pet friendly so will b travelling with our dogs next time.

Location driving distance from the city centre. Old amenities in the room. Below acreage cleanliness. Free internet and complementary breakfast. Price above average. I wouldn't revisit this place again.

Horrible food, asian owners need to step it up a notch, the chefs english was so bad he couldn't understand what was wrong with our meal. Will bypass this hotel next time, I recommend everyone do the same.

Rooms are small and bathrooms are tiny very tiny and very dated and cleaning could be better. Linen and pillows smell. Air-conditioning not great. Byo little blow heater recommend as it gets very cold in Goulburn.

This is only for the steak in the restaurant. The motel is good and I did not try other food. The steak is just burnt and tastes nothing but charcoal. Perfect example of failure.

Best steak ever in the motel restaurant. The customer service and people are absolute top notch and genuinely helpful. Arranged to keep the kitchen open late for me. I've stayed in a lot of motels and I can not recommend this one enough.
