This place is amazing! We didn’t want to leave. The Bowers are great and very comfortable. Can’t wait to return.

What a beautiful, relaxing weekend at the Bower. The bowers are comfortable and well appointed with everything you can think of. Mark and Sue have done a wonderful job with their accommodation. It rained all weekend but we still managed to watch the possums and birds playing. It didn’t matter about the weather as we just recharged the batteries and enjoyed the local cheeses and prawns. Romantic and cosy.

I was actually planning to book a trip to this beautiful place that friends recommended to me but the fact they are thinking about deciding to not allow non vaccinated guests to stay put me off all together.

Such a unique and special place for a romantic getaway. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere yet there are modern conveniences a stones throw away. Mark and Sue are the most beautiful and attentive hosts, but they’re also very respectful of your space and privacy. The accommodation is superbly appointed and meticulously clean and the beautiful surrounds make it the most spectacular getaway you could ever experience.

This place is absolutely exquisite. We needed a place that was quiet and where we could really relax. The extra little touches provided by the hosts were just outstanding. We could not recommend this place more. And will definitely be back. Thank you so very much for a wonderful few days.

Absolutely stunning — the location is serene & full of wildlife, the bower was fully equipped with everything we would need, it had lots of natural light and very private. We loved our stay!

Wonderful, peaceful, relaxing, first class ammenities.

Excellent standard of accommodation, friendly hosts, plentiful locals (rosellas & lorikeets & 1 Kookaburra). A couple of technical glitches with the Tesla charger & door lock PIN but they’ll be solved in time & hasn’t taken away from the tranquil surrounds. Walked to Broulee & the beach & bush-bashed it to get back to the highway & the Bower. Wouldn’t be dead for quids.

Perfect setting to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We stayed in the bambino airstream exceeded all our expectations. Sue and Mark have created a unique romantic experience, everything you need is at your fingertips. We highly recommend. P. S outdoor shower is a must.

A wonderful place to get away from life. We stayed in one of the Ultimate Spa Bowers — a fantastic cabin designed to make the most of its private bush setting. We had a rainy few days, which was made even more perfect with the wood fire. Great to see the finches and Rosella’s up close and personal. I would thoroughly recommend the Bowers as a place to stay for a romantic getaway.

Wow wow and more wow. It’s was so romantic and has absolutely everything. This is our favorite place by far and we will be back many times more. Love the spa bath and fireplace. The kookaburras and parrots eating out of our hands. Not a neighbour in site. Totally peaceful and quiet!
Plus everything was covered from a wonderful breakfast plate, jams, milk, bread, wood, speaker system, BBQ, bird food and lots of local produce. And my favorite part is the huge wood fireplace. Trust me every little detail has been thought off. Such a romantic trip away and no kids allow!

Everything! This is our new favourite place and I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Total off the grid nature retreat. Kangaroos, kookaburras and parrots eating out of our hands. Not a neighbour to be seen. And so many thoughtful touches — Nespresso pods, Hanks jam, gorgeous local produce in the fridge for a morning group, huge roaring fireplace. Every little detail has been thought off. Simple and perfect for recharging. We are coming back!

Highly recommend visiting The Bower at Broulee! We had the best few days there. The cabins are beautiful and secluded yet the place is so close to town/the beach and everything you could need and all the animals in the place make it extra special. The detail Mark and Sue go to to make sure everything is perfect is amazing, from the fresh food in the rooms, the spa and heated bathroom floor, all the information on the area in the folders in the room and even bird seed to give to the visiting birds! We will be back for sure, best place we've ever stayed!

A perfect holiday destination. The bowers are built to feel like you're living as part of the woods with big high ceilings and windows everywhere. Perfect for relaxing in. There are a few walks to do but there's plenty to explore just outside your door. Located just off the highway, it's easy to get to other places. There's even a Tesla charging station! The owner was super friendly too.

My wife andand I had such a relaxing experience. Recommend it to everyone Wildlife is friendly and funny you'll love it.

April 2018 Oh what a wonderful place to stay and what a wonderful birthday gift to receive. It is a perfect spot to sit and just soak in the serenity. Spa bath and candles, a roaring fire at night, champagne and snuggles with your partner. Beautiful cheeky birds feeds feeding from your hand, bird food supplied by owners. … Breakfast is in the fridge on arrival, bacon, jam, eggs, tomatoes. I think a longer stay may be required in the near future.

Mark and Sue have thought of everything for the couple's retreat. Scented candles, artisan soap and beautiful secluded cabins that could be miles from the next living person. We had a wonderful stay over the winter. Nights in front of the fire and long sleep-ins in the massive bed. BBQ and bird feeder were great too! I can't wait to be back. I want to try summer with more time on the deck into the evenings. Soooo good!

The best isolated retreat for couples in the greater Batemans Bay area. Five cabins of secluded getaway bliss, five star luxury and lush forest views that will leave you with a true feeling of tapping back into nature. Within 5 minutes from Broulee beach and driveway access to a main highway to get you anywhere along the the south coast with ease. We have been traveling there from Canberra for the last decade and will continue to do so for as long as they will have us. A highly recommended getaway for couples who wish to spend some true quality, private time with each other. With the added serenity of a business that doesn't allow children. It's a must do!

Second time at the Bower and will definitely be coming back as soon as possible. Mark & Sue are hospitable and create a lovely environment to relax, explore and the relatively poor mobile reception is also an advantage, even though it takes a few hours to get used to. If you're looking for a relaxing get away, in luxury, this is a great option and recommended.

We recently coordinated a wedding at The Bower and fell in love with this amazing property. Our couple had their ceremony and reception in the one place and the owners Mark and Sue, were wonderful in assisting us in making Cassandra & Josh's wedding a huge success.

We just spent a weekend there and everything was amazing. From when my wife started inquiring and making a tentative booking to changing what packages we wanted in the lead up, the staff were extremely accommodating. When we got there, check in was extremely quick and friendly and off we went to our private little bower. From the moment we pulled into our private driveway, the place screamed seclusion. As we entered the Bower itself, we were blown away. Beautiful high ceilings, lovely and clean through out with modern furniture and appliances. With so many little inclusions in there like fresh milk (1L bottle), multiple large towels, and of course, the bacon and egg breakfast in the fridge. We had an extremely relaxing weekend together as a chance to escape from our busy lives and came home thoroughly refreshed. Even as we checked out, the staff mentioned how relaxed and different we looked compared to when we arrived. Would highly recommend this place to any couple looking to get away and reconnect.

My partner and I had such a beautiful relaxing escape! The cabin was perfect! We felt at home as soon as we walked in! We loved the special touches like the soft music playing on our arrival, robes and slippers, fresh fruit and delicious breakfast!

Tanya and I recently had a lovely mini-break here and we will now be making it our Go-To place on the coast. The cabin had everything we could need and was beautifully appointed, with a luxury spa, a wood fireplace, breakfast hamper and even a Nespresso coffee machine. The birds were used to people and loved being fed — Rainbow Lorikeets, Rosellas, Magpies, Kookaburras, Blue Wrens, King Parrots and a host of finches.

Fantastic secluded getaway. Perfect for couples or just quiet alone time. You truly feel like you are in a little cottage away from it all. We are here in winter, and the fireplace is complimented by a heater for the less "survivalist" inclined :-) Spa. Heated tiles. Big shower. Ordered bbq hamper and it is great too.

Wow what a beautiful place to escape to for some real rest and relaxation. The Bower ticks all of the boxes and every fine detail has been taken care of. Mark and Sue your hosts are extremely welcoming and obliging. Your breakfast package included in your stay was more than generous and absolutely delicious. The scenery, bird life and fauna are the best and come to visit you on your balcony. The Bower is bliss, highly recommend this place to stay and visit. We'll be back. David and Robyn Mumford.

Superb in every way. Luxury Eco Tourism at it's best. The Bowers are so private, peaceful and extremely comfortable. You feel like it's just you and the forest. The owners could not have been more helpful. Can't recommend highly enough.

In a great location, we found the Bower at Broulee has so much to offer anyone on the lookout for a private couples paradise. It offers the peace and tranquillity of the bush in luxurious surroundings. The bower itself is equipped with everything we could possibly need and was more like our own personal resort spa. Our favourite was the bathroom of the Black Bower, with the massive, double spa bath and separate double shower.

A beautiful, tranquil setting amongst the trees, yet so close to the beach. Absolute luxury — highly recommended.
