No bins crappy facilities… Had to line up to useone of the 2 showers…

Very disappointed I upgraded to a water view room. Great I could see the water this was the only bonus. The bed was broken… the sofa lounge was broken. This place would have been great in its day but unfortunately it's VERY rundown would not re visit . Over priced . Bathroom dirty . Damaged bed (no sleep) . Couldn't relax (feeling like my skin was crawling) ××××when I explained how poor the room was maintained I was told … oh ok thanks ××××××

Need good maintenance in caravan park… Also bathroom needs bit replacement… It's safe and good location.

Stayed one nite last year,, that was enough, old outdated ill maintained and very over priced for what you get. Only positives were it has a great location. If it were not for that I doubt anyone would stay there.

We are on our road trip and we have been stopping over 13 accomodations so far including BIG4 Tourist Parks and 5 star resorts We stayed at El Lago Tourist Park for 2 night during our trip. It was the worst caravan park and cabin that I have been stayed ever in my life. It is dirty, smelly and also rubbish, big fly, mosquitoes are everywhere… We rather stayed at the unpowered camping site in the bush then staying in this caravan park and paid for $228 per night (during December 2017). We really got ripped off as the price of the cabin is too expensive compared to what we paid at RAVC Royal Pines Resort (breakfast included) for $240 per night on 31/12 and 1/1/2018. It was such a nightmare, my children got so bad allergy, eczema and asthma because of this dirty environment and old condition of the building and cabins… my daughter eyes got really puffy because of the dirty environment. I do not think this place is really for human to live as it is really bad for your health. The condition of the building is really old and unsafe for the little kids, have a look in the picture, the window are actually broken and they actually used the sticky tape to glue them… In the kitchen, the cold water tap is broken so I needed to use hot water tap to wash my hand.

Camping spot was very dirty… Broken glass, fishing hook, food scraps and rubbish lying around. Nothing changed after complaining. Price not worth it in peak.

A little bit scary and a lot bit gross. Have paid the same amount at a caravan/tourist park for somewhere to park our van just to sleep and shower and this was just awful! Very disorganised and had to organise a refund as we were charged twice upon checkout. Nothing nice whatsoever and hideous facilities. If you expect people to pay for a piece of grass the size of a small vehicle then put some money back into upgrading your facilities.

Great location. Nice rooms. Clean & had everything we needed for our stay. Staff was pleasant. Will defiantly be back soon.

Don't stay here! The room was not as advertised! For $145 a night it's a rip off. I've stayed in pubs better than this. The whole thing smells of mould. The shower tiles are not even stuck to the floor! We froze because there was a window at 2nd story height that we could not close. There was no mention on the website or when booking that we were staying at the camping site a block and a half away from the main hotel. The main hotel is supposed to have a pool — But based on the state of the room we are in now, I wouldn't want to swim in the pool, they probably don't clean it either.

Very disappointed with our stay at El Lago. It is not worth the money and is dirty. The only good thing is its location, neither staff nor the facility is guest friendly. I will never stay there again.

I booked one night in a "Lakeedge" unit for 3 of us. We were very disappointed. I guess the 3 dead locks and 2 door chains should have warned us that we weren't in paradise! The unit was reasonable inside. But you will have to make your own bed up. But then there was only enough hot water for one person to shower — and no plug in the basin so you could even have a wash! We won't be back. (although the Thai Restaurant up the street has great food! ).
