Bernita Brown provided outstanding customer service. She greeted everyone with a warm smile and took the time to make sure every guest was well taken care of during breakfast.

The Good:
1. Overall, the room was very nice, although it faced a busy road and could get a little noisy while I was trying to work.

I would give it a 4.5 stars if I could. Overall, a good experience. Staff was competent, room was clean, everything worked, and it was a great location for the event I was planning to attend.

We were attending an event at the Chesapeake Convention Center and chose this facility. We had more amenities, better rooms at a lower price than friends staying next door!

We booked a room on the top (21st) floor and had a beautiful view of the harbor. The room was perfect. Very modern, quiet, and comfortable.

I would like to sincerely commend Wyatt for the exceptional customer service he provided while assisting me with checking in at the Hilton Norfolk Main.

We stayed here for my birthday. My husband surprised me. What an amazing place. The owner/innkeeper is superb. The room we stayed in was wonderful. They provide all of the extra touches.

My husband and I stayed one night. We were very impressed. From start to finish it was a lovely stay. Parking is very close, 1 minute walk if that.

Here for a work trip. Hotel is clean, friendly staff and awesome valet staffers. Lots of food options near by with also a grocery store which makes it easier for longer stays.

They did not have my reservation. However, they were able to provide a room/

Been to the Glass Light on two occasions so here are my thoughts. The rooms are clean, however I hate the sink inside of the room.

Glass Light Hotel was such a beautiful experience. Beyond the stunning design and unique glass art, what truly stood out was the genuine hospitality.

I had never stayed at a Tru branded hotel before and was pleasantly surprised. I can't remember the front desk staff name but he was super friendly and helpful when I needed some things.

We stayed just one night. Hotel only had a 3.5 rating? Not sure why. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, staff friendly when we arrived. Nice location. Curtains blocked the light.

Since the end of September/beginning of October 2025, my husband and I have been living at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Norfolk Airport due to a water loss at our home.

So my family had a house fire, and our insurance company checked us into Home 2 Suites. I have got to say this is the most family-friendly place since we've been here. We got here in February.

First off, the staff are beyond the sweetest to customers, even after a long day of work. The king size room is so big and your room has its own private door, separates from the sofa bed.

This Holiday Inn was above and beyond my expectations and previous experience at other locations.

What a great surprise this hotel gave us! We went for a recent convention. The room was great on the corner and looking over the river. Decorated well.

Great stay here, everyone at reception and in the breakfast restaurant was SO nice! Very accommodating!

Amazing stay and outstanding service!

We literally RAN to this hotel after fleeing a horrible experience at another establishment. Let me say the staff were AMAZING! They remembered our names, smiled, and were absolutely pleasant.

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean for the most part floor could of been cleaned better. Location was everything! Pool and area was very nice.

We returned here to see staff that are like family. The staff at Sands Inn are exceptional and very real. They care and make you feel at home. I enjoy visiting with Kristina and Mrs.

Family needed a quick stay before an early flight. Night auditor was welcoming and polite. Diane at breakfast stole the show with a clean and well presented breakfast area.

I had a great experience here while I was on the go! Great customer service by Reggie the maintenance Manager.

Enjoyed my stay here while my husband was working in the area. The process was quick and easy not to mention the warm, delicious cookies and bottle of water provided upon check-in.

On August 23 I held an Adult Prom at the Doubletree.
I worked with a wonderful sales person by the name of Andrea Chamblee. She guided me along the way.

First time back in 15 years and was pleasantly surprised with upgraded decor.

Room is always clean and well decorated when we visit. Great views of the river and city. Yes, you will see the shipyards and that’s ok to see our Nation’s Navy being maintained.

This location was an ideal stay for anyone who would like to stay close to the airport for in and out travel or those who rather be close to the airport for an easy travel commute.

The shuttle and driver were great. Took the first van in the morning, and it was on time, clean and super convenient. The driver was professional and very friendly.

Positive: Location Negative: The breakfast wasn’t great just free and hotel needs a deep clean. The carpets are dirty and the bathroom tub had a ring around it.

This hotel has lots of positives – and a few negatives. On the positive side, it’s a very convenient location right on the ODU campus.

Good staff and consistent room cleanliness. Staff tries to handle all minor snafus, mostly TV remotes and coffee machines for rooms!

I am so grateful fro this place. I don’t stay at hotels very often, in fact I normally avoid it as much as possible. But in a dire situation I was forced to stay at one for over a week.

Jalissa at the front desk truly exhibited what a customer experience should be. As a diamond member I stay at all of the Hilton brands and by far she is in the top 1% of WOW!

Breakfast on march10 — Breakfast — eggs had red and green peppers in them/ block potato’s also covered with red/ green peppers (hot), no plain eggs?

From the time I was greeted at the front desk by Haley to the time I checked out the next day my experience at this hotel was terrific.

I came for a graduation. The front desk staff was polite and helpful. They provided me with a small gift bag for being a rewards member.

I've stayed here a few times. It's in a good location, the rooms are decent, it isn't too pricey.

This hotel is great and so is the price. The folks working here were friendly, very accommodating, and all around top notch.

The rooms were beautiful, everyone was friendly, and our Valet, Mark, was spectacular! Super kind, friendly, fun, and great at his job!

The Valet attendant Mark was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the digital valet system and made sure we were comfortable.

Compared to Red roof and weekly stay these rooms are way better! No bugs. Everything was great only issue for me was the cigarette burns in all the sheets and only having 1 towel in the room.

The cleanliness was amazing and everything was very tidy!

In town one night for a funeral. Hotel looks fairly new. Up to date decor, kids enjoyed the pool and the billiards room. High volted ceilings in the suites on the ground floor. Worth the price.

Rooms — decent; a little older, but have everything you need. The elevator on the N side needs an update. Forgot about the pet thing, so if you have allergies, stay away.

Stayed here for one month no issues slept very well great people I love the way they run their business very professional… I would like to personally thank the owner Mr Milap I love your business
