Norfolk Hotels

We booked a room on the top (21st) floor and had a beautiful view of the harbor. The room was perfect. Very modern, quiet, and comfortable.

I would like to sincerely commend Wyatt for the exceptional customer service he provided while assisting me with checking in at the Hilton Norfolk Main.

We stayed here for my birthday. My husband surprised me. What an amazing place. The owner/innkeeper is superb. The room we stayed in was wonderful. They provide all of the extra touches.

My husband and I stayed one night. We were very impressed. From start to finish it was a lovely stay. Parking is very close, 1 minute walk if that.

Stayed overnight to start a cruise this morning. Very convenient to were we were parking for the cruise. Room was very nice. Great bathroom and shower. Very comfortable bed. Safe area and very quiet.

Judy is amazing! She and the staff and front desk team are easygoing, welcoming, and friendly. They truly made the entire trip smooth and stress-free.

Been to the Glass Light on two occasions so here are my thoughts. The rooms are clean, however I hate the sink inside of the room.

Glass Light Hotel was such a beautiful experience. Beyond the stunning design and unique glass art, what truly stood out was the genuine hospitality.

Since the end of September/beginning of October 2025, my husband and I have been living at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Norfolk Airport due to a water loss at our home.

So my family had a house fire, and our insurance company checked us into Home 2 Suites. I have got to say this is the most family-friendly place since we've been here. We got here in February.

Here for a work trip. Hotel is clean, friendly staff and awesome valet staffers. Lots of food options near by with also a grocery store which makes it easier for longer stays.

They did not have my reservation. However, they were able to provide a room/

I had never stayed at a Tru branded hotel before and was pleasantly surprised. I can't remember the front desk staff name but he was super friendly and helpful when I needed some things.

We stayed just one night. Hotel only had a 3.5 rating? Not sure why. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, staff friendly when we arrived. Nice location. Curtains blocked the light.

This Holiday Inn was above and beyond my expectations and previous experience at other locations.

Check in was easy and fast with Jamel at the front desk. Jamel has the perfect personality for his job and his customer service was exceptional.

Great stay here, everyone at reception and in the breakfast restaurant was SO nice! Very accommodating!

This staff is wonderful. They had to deal with a lot this morning & did it all with beautiful smiles & great attitude. A company had a convention & could not leave.

Amazing stay and outstanding service!

We literally RAN to this hotel after fleeing a horrible experience at another establishment. Let me say the staff were AMAZING! They remembered our names, smiled, and were absolutely pleasant.

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean for the most part floor could of been cleaned better. Location was everything! Pool and area was very nice.

We returned here to see staff that are like family. The staff at Sands Inn are exceptional and very real. They care and make you feel at home. I enjoy visiting with Kristina and Mrs.

We were attending an event at the Chesapeake Convention Center and chose this facility. We had more amenities, better rooms at a lower price than friends staying next door!

GM Rashawnda Cowell and team are awesome! Went above and beyond to assist with my business travel and room needs. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful.

Family needed a quick stay before an early flight. Night auditor was welcoming and polite. Diane at breakfast stole the show with a clean and well presented breakfast area.

I had a great experience here while I was on the go! Great customer service by Reggie the maintenance Manager.

Enjoyed my stay here while my husband was working in the area. The process was quick and easy not to mention the warm, delicious cookies and bottle of water provided upon check-in.

On August 23 I held an Adult Prom at the Doubletree.
I worked with a wonderful sales person by the name of Andrea Chamblee. She guided me along the way.

Stayed there overnight for work. Nice hotel. Waterfront to Elizabeth River. Hotel has bar and lounge, pool table, outdoor seating around fire pits. Room was nice.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Renaissance Portsmouth–Norfolk Waterfront. The location surprised me in the best way.

A little aged but overall a good hotel. Beds are comfortable. Good location if you need to be near the airport. The walls are pretty thin and you could hear people coming and going all night.

The hotel was basic but the customer service was amazing! I dealt with Tonya and she was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back again.

Positive: Location Negative: The breakfast wasn’t great just free and hotel needs a deep clean. The carpets are dirty and the bathroom tub had a ring around it.

This hotel has lots of positives – and a few negatives. On the positive side, it’s a very convenient location right on the ODU campus.

Good staff and consistent room cleanliness. Staff tries to handle all minor snafus, mostly TV remotes and coffee machines for rooms!

I am so grateful fro this place. I don’t stay at hotels very often, in fact I normally avoid it as much as possible. But in a dire situation I was forced to stay at one for over a week.

All of the staff that we encounter during our stay were amazing — very friendly and professional.

For an older hotel, I was very comfortable in my room and walking around. My bed was comfortable and the hot water/pressure were great! The breakfast at the restaurant was really good and affordable.

Staff was friendly location is great, room was very nice and clean. The furniture in the rooms is very nice! THE ROOMS DO HAVE A MINI FRIDGE, COFFEE MAKER AND MICROWAVE.

Clean rooms. Breakfast can be included. Some light dinner fare is offered nightly. Central to everything we wanted to see. Right next to the MacArthur Museum.

This place is very well maintained. It’s an older motel, which I don’t mind at all, because it’s clean! The staff are very nice and helpful.

I stayed here for a week (end of October),
My arrival was smooth, and check-in was quick since I arrived early and was very tired. All I wanted was a hot shower and to sleep.

Good bed, amazing coffee. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Karen kept the coffee hot and fresh — they have lots of varieties to offer, which I liked.

Great stay staff was friendly and provided professional service. They accomodated my late check in although I missed the time and gave me a room that had privacy and was quiet.

Upon arrival at approximately 1:00 AM, the front desk staff provided exceptional service, demonstrating a high level of friendliness and attentiveness.

The location was great. It was close to where we needed to be. I was surprised they offered breakfast as this is not something they usually offer.

Very clean. Perfect location especially if you're on vacation the cameras are everywhere exterior so you feel super safe. Great coffee in the morning I've been coming here for years.

Econo lodge was very clean. And the check in process was easy. The gentleman at the counter was very professional and made my stay comfortable!

This hotel was wonderful. The room was so nice and clean. It had a full kitchen and the bathroom was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here if ever in town.

My five star reviews is for Marcus and his exceptional customer service. Hotel was overbooked and he maintained calm professionalism dealing with upset patrons.
