Beautiful hotel. Very quiet and hidden away. Lovely rooms and breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent help with suggestions for tours and wonderful breakfast daily.
They ask you about your tour when you get back at end of day.
I would give the hotel 10 stars If I could.

I loved everything about my stay here. Every member of the family is absolutely friendly. Not fake friendly like commercial places but genuine. The room was spacious and cleaned everyday. Internet works perfectly. Breakfast is excellent and yet all prices are very very reasonable. This place is a gem. They can also arrange many activities and tickets. I book at tour with them to visit the Tombs in the area. Our guide was lovely and she gave a lot of explainations.

It was clean and fine. The only thing I didn't like is that they scammed us on a motorbike rental. They told us the motorbike will cost 20k dong and then they asked us to pay 120k dong per day which is like 4 time the price we paid in another place…

Staff where wonderful allowing us to check in early and helpful with information and getting us booked for a motorbike trip to Hoi An. However the dorms are not much to write home about.

Very nice atmosphere and warm welcome. The family run hotel was clean and conveniently located. Laundry service was fast and they even arranged a bus to Da Nang for us. Thank you! Can only recommend.

We were very pleased to stay there for two nights, staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room smelled a bit of mould but that's the issue everywhere in Vietnam, at least it was clean and with all amenities included. The breakfast we had was the best we've had within last 7 days, thank you and all the best! :)

Really lovely family running this place! We were given a cold drink on arrival and welcomed with a big smile whenever we walked in or out, and everyone spoke good enough English to have a conversation! I know I can't expect everyone to speak a foreign language, but these people have clearly put a lot of effort into welcoming their guests! The shower in the room had the best pressure I've had after 2 weeks of hotels and the room was nice and clean. Only downside were the building works next door which woke me up, but that's not any fault of the owners. There are some good restaurants just round the corner, and it's about half an hour walk from the imperial palace, so great location.

Nice hotel and lovely staff, comfortable and fairly good location. Amazing price. Only bad thing was I was woken at 7:30 by someone drilling and shouting. This was rather annoying as I wanted to lie in. — staff were very sorry. Clean and well presented, bathroom good and fridge in room, air-con working — really good Wi-Fi Overall good shame about the “wake up call” would recommend. One of the best places in Vietnam so far.

The hotel has a good location and a very nice room. In particular, however, I would like to mention to the staff that I have really done everything possible to satisfy all of us. Really only recommended, in addition it is unbeatably cheap for the service!

The staff at the Home Hotel is amazing. They truly go above and beyond. My boyfriend and I checked out in the morning because we had an all day tour the last day of our visit. The staff held our bags for us during the day and even offered for us to use their shower when we returned in the evening. Besides that, they are very knowledgeable about recommendations for the city. I also highly recommend taking the deluxe room with a balcony and gorgeous view of the river. Breakfast was delicious and very well done, and the bed was huge and soft A truly wonderful experience in every way here.

The staff are super friendly, very welcoming, smiling and it's hyper pleasant. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is good and varied, it is well located in Hue I find, in short it is a great hotel!

This hotel is most certainly worthy of all the praise you read online and in your Lonely Planet. They arranged a free taxi from the train station, explained us how best to visit Hue and the imperial city and were very flexible when we suddenly had to change our checkout date. Rooms are good, beds are huge.

The girl at the front counter is very friendly and helpful. She offered us some advice for seeing the city on foot and booked our bus for a good price. The breakfast was really nice and included fruit which seems to be so rare in Vietnam. Rooms are comfortable and clean too!

From the moment you walk in the door with their complementary lilikoi drink and fruit platter, the service at this hotel is easily the best I've had ever. The attention to detail in every interaction we've had with the staff was amazing. We had a little complicated stay having had booked through two different sites since a room was not originally available for our entire stay. One reservation was paid in advance, but the other was not. Although there was a mix up with our bill and we overpaid, they really went the extra mile to ensure that we received our money back. I was planing to double check the payments when we got home, but before we even made it back, they emailed us to let us know about the error and the owner met us in Ho Chi Minh City during our layover! They were also able to accommodate a last minute change to our private car to the airport due to a flight change and packed our breakfasts because we left before breakfast service began. In addition, the rooms were modern and clean and the bed was super comfy. Not much of a view, but the location is convenient. There's a K-Mart (not the US chain, but a convenience store selling Korean products) right around the corner and you can easily walk to restaurants, banks, the post office within 5 minutes and Co-op, Dong ba market and the citadel I 15-20. There was also a nice selection of western and asian foods for breakfast. If I am ever back in Hue, I am definitely staying here again.

Orchid goes to the top1 hotel we stayed to during our 5-week motorbike trip from Hanoi to HCMC. Huuuuge thanks to the staff, they are amazing! They even had arranged a birthday cake for my girlfriend's birthday. Outstanding work guys! Rooms are very good and peaceful. We loved our stay!

Place in the middle of the nerve centre of the city, it offers all the same quiet, being situated in an impasse. The rooms are large and well equipped, with a safe.

We only came here for their spa services after they were recommended by our hotel. We were given tea and cookies before our massages, which were excellent, and yogurt and fruit afterwards. The staff was very kind and our massages were just what we needed.

Fantastic hotel. This was by far the best hotel experience we got in Vietnam. The hotel is rather new (we visited in November 2016), so all facilities were in great order. We were received with some fresh fruits and a drink, and when we arrived in the room the bed had rose petals on it. The breakfast buffet was very good, and offered a wide variety of choices. We did not get a chance to try the pool, but we had a great place from which to visit Hue.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was nice and was easy to rent a bicycle or scooter to explore hue. Our private room was OK but damp and alittle mouldy, but we slept well and enjoyed our stay in Hue. Thank you boutique hotel for hosting us!

Nice hotel, and food is a bit pricey and not fantastic. The hotel is very beautiful. My room looked out onto the perfume river which was lovely, though the room itself was a little on the small side. I didn't have the breakfast here but went down one day and ordered off the menu — it was really expensive for what it was. The food was average — not fantastic though not poor either. I did have a massage on two of the days which was amazing. There was a special offer on as they were renovating a wing at the time — made it well worth it.

Amazing staff! Decent breakfast included but the Vietnamese coffee is one of the best around. They have a huge collection of travel books to read through. The rooms are decent size and Wi-Fi works great in the rooms. They have been extremely helpful with tips, suggestions and information. And if you going to Hoi an after Hue, I HIGHLY suggest booking a one way scooter through the hotel. They get the best rates and your bags will be brought to your hotel in hoi an.

Most friendly staff, awesome breakfast and clean (but small and normal) room for only $10!
