Comfortable place to stay, pool was very welcome. The Croissants at breakfast were amazing! Helpful friendly staff. Would happily stay here again.

Hotel is quite nice location in heart of hanoi. But inside starting getting old cause it was not renovated in recent years. Staffs & services still meeting up to clients demand as a five stars hotel.

It's a big hotel located near the Hanoi Opera. The room was big and comfort. The bakery at the lobby has good options and delicious. There are two sides of entrance.

Rooms are spacious. Comfortable bed with abundance of pillows. Wi-Fi speed is great. Great value for money. Included breakfast buffet has wide variety of dishes both Western and Eastern.

Best place to be in the hotel is well located close to city centre and reasonable price for Hilton standards… The staff are wonderful and accommodating for all your request (you would expect that from brand anyway) and the breakfast is delightful… Could have been much more tidy in the rooms… see attached picture. This is the dust that came when I wiped one the inside clothing cabinet to keep my week worth od clothing…

Rather an old property. Needs recarpeting. They do a good job to keep up the Hilton brand and service. Live piano music in the evenings at the lounge. Sports bar is quiet. Breakfast selection is very good. Location wise very central. Walking distance to the Old Quarter.

Great and spacious room and bathroom with bathtub and shower. Large desk with good Wi-Fi coverage which allow remote work. Breakfast is awesome with outstanding choice. Gym room is basic, I only use the treadmill, they have four of them. The swimming pool is outdoor which is cold in winter since water is not heated.

Very nice hotel, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping, and within walking distance of shopping. Breakfast was excellent, the best french toast I've had, and there was a decent selection of a variety of foods. I plan on coming back here, and recommend this hotel!

A great hotel in the city centre. All walking distance for the tourist. Great service.

A "proper" hotel. Classy, and with charm. Close to all the major things to do and see in Hanoi. Rooms are clean and spacious. Could use simple updates like modern international power outlets, and many more of them. But that's a minor issue. Executive lounge is nice. Fitness center is well equipped enough to get a decent workout. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff is VERY friendly and helpful.

It's a good hotel. In the center of Hanoi. The "returned sword" lake is 5 minutes on foot.

A great location to use as a home base to explore the city. We were placed on the 6th floor and a sign showed that the hotel will be undergoing renovations. We didn't hear anything. Our room is a bit outdated, but bathroom is updated with great walk in shower, large tub. Room large. A bit dim lighting. Good A/C and heating. Great staff. Very helpful.

The hotel is very pleasant and offers the usual Hilton friendly service. We checked in and were not advised of the noise that would come blaring into our room from the outside NYE celebrations. They quickly moved us to a new room facing away which was a big difference. The gym is adequate and the pool was a little on the cooler side this time of year. We took up the offer of a driver to collect us at the airport, shame the car catered for smokers and stank. Still pleasant enough to be transported through the traffic to the hotel.

Nice hotel close to the vibrant old section of the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast buffet.

Good hotel, although they should go thinking about recycling a bit.

I had a wonderful stay here while in Hanoi. The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was clean and there was a nice gym. They have a little bakery downstairs that I enjoyed and delicious tea options. My favorite was the Jasmine tea.

This is a very good hotel. By Vietnam standards it has very large rooms, and a five star main floor entry level full of marble floors and columns. The rooms could use some updating by North America standards, but there is no doubt I would stay here again. Get breakfast included for a small fee as it is a large and very good buffet. The best part of this hotel without doubt is room prices. An overnight stay here at the Hilton Opera in the famous old quarter of Hanoi, is far less than the cost of the five star Metropole Hotel just two blocks away, another favorite of mine but at far higher prices. In my view the Hilton offers superior value for your dollar and does not disappoint even the demands of business travelers. PS The main floor piano bar at the Hilton is not to be missed.

Go there to rest my feet after a long walk around the area. Quiet lobby, passable selection of pastry and cake. A good range of drinks selection. Pastry are not bad. Staff are friendly. Partial view of the opera house side. A good place to rejuvenate.

Very good breakfast.

This seems like an older hotel with the style of the wallpaper and carpet. Was grated with the cookies and two chocolate covered strawberries for a special event. Staff have all been helpful and very nice. They also have currency exchange here the reasonable. Location wise it's been close to everything. The shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash provided by the hotel appears to be refilled rather than brand new, which makes you wonder if it's really Crabtree and Evelyn products. Good choices for breakfast and pleasant staff there.

Nice hotel in the heart of Hanoi.

The location is perfect, the rooms maybe a bit old, but it makes up for all the other amenities.

Lady manager in ridiculously short mini skirt with countless jewelry from head to toe, smile-less female receptionist with 4-5 sparkling piercings and bellmen in torn uniform. God lord what bussiness attire is that! Wait staff in JJ Bar and Club Lounge on top floor on the other hand were very professional and spoke much better english than the front desk people. I give them all a 5 out of 5.

Great central hotel. The staff was absolutely 5 star… always made sure that I was happy. Will stay here when I return to Hanoi.

A little bit dated but it meets all the requirements of a business/pleasure traveler. The rooms are spacious, clean and has everything you will need (safe, iron, fridge). Internet is free and fast. The gym has all the basics. The breakfast is very good and has a good mix of asian and western food. The staff are polite and service oriented. Location is very convenient next to the Opera House and close to Hoan Kiem Lake.

Amazing hotel at an amazing location. Walkable distance to many places. It's right at the centre of the city.

The hotel service is quite good. Although the hotel not so big enough to have playground but it is in the very centre so very comfortable to walk around famous nearby places.

As with all large hotels the deco is quite drab but it is bright and well kept in the main. The hallways between rooms are a little dated and worn but the rooms themselves are in good order as was the gym, sauna, pool, bar and lobby. Rooms are enormous, bathroom has separate shower and bath. Bed is very comfy and linen is good quality. Staff are very helpful and polite. A good stay.

Amazing hotel. I asked for Sahur (early breakfast before dawn), and they delivered to my room! Amazing service. Location is also in downtown Hanoi, walking distance to the Turtle lake, and water puppet theater.

If you have never known the rooms of the great hotels of the years 70-80 come to the Hilton Hanoi and you will make a real trip back in time. The décor of the rooms resembles that of a Crowne Plaza in a suburb of New Jersey. To flee.

A beautiful hotel! The breakfast was delicious and the rooms had a unique vibe (for a Hilton). We enjoyed our stay here.

Great location in the French Quarter. Lifts are pretty old but an overall great stay. If you're staying under the executive option, do take a look at the breakfast menu for options on available at the breakfast buffey.

Hotel is a bit old and needs refurbishment.
