The hotel is great. But the price is expensive. In general, in Tashkent, all hotels are expensive compared to other countries.

This was my comment a while ago: Friendly staff, good housekeeping, well looked after hotel. I have downgraded now, as obviously the housekeeping cannot cope with the race t high occupation of the hotel. Appears that the change in economy is attracting a big number of business and tourist travellers. Whereas the housekeeping misses to clean corridors, repairing telephone sets etc. Pity.

Good Hotel in the central part of Tashkent city. Polite and attentive staff, clean rooms, very decent breakfast buffet, private pool on site, several restaurants, souvenir shop, currency exchange and just magic duvets on the beds. Of the minuses-very bad insulation of windows and doorways, whistles and blows…

Update: got upgraded to a suite on 2nd visit. Brilliant stuff! What a world of difference from the normal rooms. Classic design but not fuddy duddy if you know what I mean. Everything looks much newer. (Room picts are for the suite) Previous review: A classic European style hotel that would bring back you back to nostalgic 60s! (Hotel was built in the 50s). Despite the upgrading in recent years, the deco remains quite dated and could do with some spruce up (especially the rooms). Still the guest rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with the standard amenities like in-room kettle for making hot beverages. The court yard and garden is pretty nice for a stroll and perhaps end up by the pool area for cocktails. The hotel has 2 restaurants. Try the grill on level 6, wonderful al fresco ambience over look the opera house and park. With the cool evening weather now, its a great place to chill and grab a dinner of delicious shashliks. PS: breakfast spreads is good. Wi-Fi network is not so good. Keeps dropping.

It was between 3 and 4 stars. On one hand, the hotel is well located in the City center, quite good breakfast, Wi-Fi, big lobby and comfortable bed. On the other, rooms are tired, corridor noise lives in your room, facilities are not working properely. Finally, $190 per night. There is no value for the money. To my opinion — 3 stars.

Beautiful hotel excellent location comfortable beds, no air conditioning at night! If you can live with that welcome.

Very cozy, good service, tasty cooked in the center of the city near the theater a. Navoi Many architectural monuments.

The building in which the peace treaty between Pakistan and India was signed. The war is over. And the next day in his room was found the president of India… A heart attack.

Classic hotel with helpful service. They don't serve bacon during breakfast. I think it is because this country is Islam-based.

Excellent place to stay perfect rooms and awesome breakfast. Few minutes away from all the monuments. Tour can be taken by walk as well.

Nice hotel, good food, not organised very well but staff are generally willing to help. They seem to have a lot of functions which take precidence over the guests' requirements.

Yes, don't buy coffee! Costs a fortune!

The staff are very warm & accommodating and they can speak English well. The hotel is clean and comfortable.

Staff is nice. Rooms have no air conditioning. 31c in room upon arrival. Told to open windows because hotel has turned off air conditioning. Wifi connection is fantastic. Bring money, the exchange office staff in hotel isn't as friendly as a KGB agent.

Room had almost no window, facing emergency stairs. Needed electricity even on a sunny day. * Don't exchange money in this hotel, they are cheating you! I would only go to Tashkent again by force, it's not a pleasant city to visit.

Very nice hotel. Clean, good breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

We had a disastrous one nights stay in which nobody seemed to know what was going on in the hotel; the roof terrace was closed despite us being told it was open and we could eat up there; the restaurant was closed despite us being told we could eat in there, and when we got there a member of staff directed us back to the roof terrace… which was closed. We were supposed to get a breakfast in a box because of leaving early, but were told they didn't do that. When we were directed to the early breakfast bar I found a basket of elderly cherries and a few apricots that I would have thrown out, and some elderly bread and a couple of small croissants. Also found 5 yogurts but no spoons. The barely awake bar chap eventually found ONE plastic spoon, fork and knife set. I had a 'chat' with whoever was in charge then and he said he'd phone our tour guide later, (who was actually standing there with us and talking) but of course, he never did. As we left the hotel some member of staff said that they were looking forward to seeing us again and would make our stay special. We had to go again for our last night and it seemed that nothing had changed. We were given the same sort of room with not even a bowl of fruit in it. I asked to see the manager and got a very nice young deputy manager, called Nizom, who was on the end of my anger. And guess what… he knew nothing about what had gone on before.

The location is excellent and the hotel is very clean. Near Tsum, you can buy gifts to friends, evening beautiful fountains.

Very nice, clean and tidy.

Nice hotel. The kitchen in the restaurant as it is very hearty. Excellent dessert. The staff is caring. The bed is soft on the fan of course. Pleased with the view from the window. Stayed on the 3rd floor. Maybe come back here again.

The Best Lotte Hotel. All inclusive service.

A good breakfast. Open-air swimming pool. Internet (WI-FI) free of charge. Comfortable and soft bed. Modern TV channel, although not a lot.

Good hotel located downtown. Rooms of comfort and cleanliness. Bar and restaurant service prices too high.

Quite decent hotel.
A small minus is the only Wi-Fi in the lobby, private Internet and cable.

Used to be much better. Nothing more to say.
