A good buffet breakfast, very helpful staff. And a very good location Also the rooms were clean and spacious. A very good place to stay.

Stayed here for one night for our wedding anniversary after getting married here 5 years ago. The staff were friendly. Comfy cosy bar area and lovely food.

Stay here regularly lovely clean hotel, staff are really helpful and friendly. Lovely family feel to the hotel not like the corporate hotels more personal.

It initially looked OK here. The outline of a nice place is here but… is now dated and in real need of decorating (walls are all scuffed and scrapes and stains on very visible parts of room and bathroom) — breakfast was pretty grim (I love baked beans but these were weird and awful, and I've never had bacon that I never liked before — undercooked? Not really sure). Breakfast choice is OK on paper but just not great, coffee tastes like cheap sachet coffee in a coffee jug. Staff polite. Location is good. Price OK.

Excellent value, clean and very friendly. Breakfast was very good and the family room was a good size. Easy parking and a quiet area with restaurants and bars a short walk away.

I recently stayed at Haley's Hotel and although my stay was short, it was comfortable and had a really homely feeling. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and the en-suite bathroom — perfect! I will be making periodic visits to Leeds and this hotel will be my choice of where to stay. It is also in an area that is both tranquil and central during the day and yet alive at night.

Haley's Hotel is a lovely built Victorian building in its own grounds with a car park and a seating area outside if the weather is good. The hotel room was a good size with a king size bed. We had a small en-suite with a bath and shower over. The room was immaculatley clean. The bar was quiet, we had a drink and toasted sandwhich, which I didn't eat, it wasn't very appertising, the side salad looked old and floppy. The breakfast though was great, a good selection and cooked food if you prefer. For an overnight stay this Hotel is perfect, its central to a very busy high street with lots of bars and eateries. The staff were lovely.

Lovely hotel old and grandier amazing carvary every sunday lunch served from 12 till 2.30 only £8.95 for main course beef cooked beautifully will definately be going back.

We got married at Haley’s October 2017… it was amazing, everything ran smoothly, the food was perfect and everyone enjoyed theirs self’s. A special thank you to Sophie, she was fantastic, did everything she could to help, even with my 500 questions every day by email, she was always there! Also some people left stuff in the rooms and left but they collected it all for us to pick us as soon as we can, they are very trustworthy! I can’t praise this place enough! Thank you everybody at Haley’s that worked on the 7th October 2017, you where fantastic to put up with us all!

Went for my mums 80th. Staff great food amazing. They catered for our varied dietary requirements. Private dining room for our group.

The room was lovely and warm, which very welcome in the coldness of the North. The staff were very helpful and the complimentary breakfast simple but effective. Only gripe was the temperature of the shower seemed to have a mind of it's own.

Our stay was very dissapointing! Here's why: On the bad side: 1. We had a large double room (room 28) which was a corner room and a good size. The bed however, had seen far better days. The mattress was very worn and has a distinct dip in the side of it and was not level. When turning over during the night I had to be careful not to roll straight off it and on to the floor! The main requirement when staying away from home is a good night's sleep and that is NOT what happened. 2. On first glance, the hotel decor looks quite acceptable but on looking a bit closer, much of the carpet is a bit tired and most of the furniture in the bar is positively disgusting with big stains and ground in grime. 3. No lift in the hotel! I had elderly parents with me. 4. There is no covered walkway to rooms in the annexe building. The weather was foul and my elderly mother had to brave it as that is where the only ground floor room was available. On the good side: Most of the hot breakfast was nice but the sausages are poor quality Will I book there again? : No.

What a beautiful hotel. Very close to city. Beautiful building. Lovely friendly staff. Well maintained. Family room is lovely. Clean at all times. You can be spoilt for choice for breakfast. Set in beautiful surroundings.

Nice hotel very handy for Headingley stadium 10 min walk. Had a quiet and tranquil nights stay. Staff friendly and welcoming enjoyed breakfast. Would recommend this hotel. Will visit again.

Stayed because of Leeds Beckett graduation. Ideally located for the university. Comfortable bed. Stayed in room 36, could have been cleaner. Happy with the service and breakfast.

Excellent Sunday carvery, staff friendly and attentive. Would prefer a better draught than John Smith's but had a bottle of Black Sheep.

This hotel is lovely and quaint just off the main road but close to coffee bars and lively restaurants 15 minutes from Leeds town centre staff here are so lovely and friendly nothing is a bother food is lovely too we will definitely be coming back again.

Stayed for two nights staff friendly but food in evening very disappointing, portion rather small (steak and ale pie) came with small dish of veg and no gravey, had to ask for. Bar not manned and choice limited. Breakfast was however good with ample choice. Would stay again but not eat from evening menu, location great for our needs.

I was travelling for business and stayed here purely because of location. I stay away alot and sadly although it looks beautiful outside inside it is in need of a visit from the hotel inspector! The room was clean if old fashioned. However I was most disappointed by my evening meal. I ordered Chicken and Sultana curry. It took 20 minutes to arrive and when it did the curry sauce tasted like it came from a jar and contained only two small pieces of chicken with NO sultanas it was not pleasant at all. I did complain and sent it back. The young waiter, who was lovely, offered another portion but I'm afraid I ate elsewhere. On check out I wasn't charged for my meal but as I wasn't actually asked how my stay had been thought I should share my experience here instead.

Lovely place to stay, breakfast was plentiful and good variety, walking distance to local restaurants and bars. Couldn't fault the place.

Thank you for making our wedding day perfect. I couldn't fault anything. The room was set out lovely and the food exceeded all expectations, the portions were very generous, the staff were all very nice and helpful. Disco at night was brilliant. The four poster room is a very good size and for the breakfast there was a really good choice of food. I am so glad we picked Haleys for our wedding reception
