Absolutely great place. Spent loads of time in the pool and sauna. Already booked to go back…

Stayed here with a group of friends 2 years ago. Absolutly loved the place! Great location for walking and visiting the local village and histroic sights of the late great bolyn sisters. The village of Howarth is one long hill, with wonderful little gift shops, perfect for christams shopping. Decent sized rooms, warm, cosy and fully equipt. Would like to see updated bathroom though. The pool and sauna was the highlight for our group and luckily for us, we had it to ourselves. There is also a great little room for private functions, perfect for a small group having a birthday do or alike. If staying during the summer/warmer months, the terraced area outside is spot on for a bottle of wine in the evening or relaxing during the day. Very handy to have the dog and gun pub attached, food as wonderfull and the sausages for breakfast were probably the best ive had. Would I stay here again? Yes Should you stay here? Absolutely.

Excellent hotel and food in the dog and gun was perfect.

Location — beautiful rolling moorland on the doorstep of Oxenhope and beautiful Haworth. Hotel was being renovated, but room was clean, nicely decorated with good shower. A locked door separated us from our next door neighbour's room. His snores were sadly very audible for large periods of the night. Sauna was a welcome bonus although the light inside was not working. The swimming pool was freezing cold, it quenched the heat of the sauna, but was not pleasant for a swim, especially considering the winter chill. The views from the pool out over the moors is beautiful. Service was excellent, the hotel owner / landlord and his family were friendly personified. Food at the Dog and Gun next door was excellent both for the tasty and generously portioned evening meal and the quality English breakfast. Beer selection was top notch with 5 different Timothy Taylor real ales and a good selection of lagers and wheat beer. Lovely atmosphere in the bar with two roaring fires.

Fab place really enjoy our over night stay ample parking great staff clean rooms with clean bathroom shower and bath Wi-Fi Tele tea and coffee facilities in room also pool n sauna on site loved it here even tho the weather was snowy the dog n gun pub serves up some great food and two open fires that makes it so comfy and homely dog's are welcome at the leeming wells hotel a great find all staff av a thumbs up from me.

A lovely place to stay the rooms are really comfy & there is a swimming pool & sauna we had a lovely stay also the food was really very good & the staff are very helpful & caring.

Lovely room, great breakfast, only downside was the bathroom sink produced hot water from both taps and the shower wasn't great.

Decent room, nice pub next door, has a swimming pool and sauna (though we didn't use these). Breakfast was very good and I'd recommend to anyone in the area.

Quite rural, tough to get to without a car but overall a lovely and hospitable place.

Wonderful weekend spent here views spectacular rooms very clean and comfortable. Food amazing and hosts very welcoming would highly recommend this hotel.

England as it is and lives! Good food, great selection of beer and wines, excellent service. Connected to a cozy hotel. And a wonderful landscape on top.
