Very welcoming and friendly hotel everything was wonderful lovely stay.
Just back from a 3 night New Year break. When we first arrived we were told we were in the annexe and were led outside up 2 sets of garden steps and to my horror a set of fire escape steps. We entered a very cold room with a deck chair in, as the only place to sit (not very inviting) the owner put the fire on and said it would not take long to warm up, to be fair the one fire they have would be fine in summer but not in December. We approached the owners and they were happy to move us into the house. The Room was clean but the heating was on minimum the bathroom was also cold. Breakfast on the first morning was under cooked there was water on my plate from the bacon and the sausage and toast were barely coloured. The owner did take it back and cook it a bit longer for me so not a problem, she said she would be cooking the next day so it would be better. Second day breakfast the bacon had been cooked a little longer so that was fine but the tomato on my plate was mouldy which put me off the rest of the breakfast. I did not go down for breakfast this morning. I do not like to leave bad feedback but I am afraid this B&B was not very welcoming by this I do not mean the owners but the house itself just felt cold. I feel it is very over priced.
