Great location. Nice clean accommodation. Lovely breakfast. The owner was very accommodating. Definitely would go back when visiting Harrogate.

Easy to find and quiet location, everything local is accessible within a five minute walk. Clean room and good breakfast. "cosy and quaint". Service was friendly and efficient. Room was nice but could use a little updating.

Fantastic guest house. Staff are lovely, excellent service. Rooms are very clean. Everything provided for. Breakfast is outstanding. Bill is also lovely, makes an effort in getting to know his guests. Would definitely stay here again.

Had spoken on the phone with Bill prior to arrival so we knew how the parking/check in process was going to work.
On the day it was very slick, get parking permit, find a space, it was easy.
The room was ready and it was a nice neat room so 20 mins later we were at the regatta fair.
Breakfast was delicious and quite adequate. Altogether a very pleasant experience, many thanks to Bill & the team.

A very conveniently situated comfortable guesthouse which is handy for most places of interest in Whitby. Tamsin is a friendly and helpful owner, who is a mine of information about Whitby and the surrounding area. She also provides an outstanding full English breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay at The Beaches again. Recommended.

A good old fashioned local boozer. It has guest rooms which mean you get an ever changing clientele which makes for a good atmosphere. The landlord is very attentive and values your custom. Decent pub grub also on offer. The decor is a little dated but that kind of adds to its appeal.

At 2 minutes walking from Thirsk train station is the place where I have lunch always that I work in the area. Lovely food nice and clean place and nice staff. I would recommend it if you are in the area. (I haven't try the sleeping accomodations)

We love this place. Clean, comfortable, great value for money and they do the best breakfast around. We love Sue and Mark.

Enjoyed three nights at this fabulous bandb, but so much more. Sue and Mark the delightful hosts ensure your stay will be special. The large beautifully appointed rooms have such comfortable beds, and all set in a stunning location. The fantastic breakfasts set you up for the day! Ideal for Harrogate Harlow Carr and that all important visit to Betty’s.

Quirky and snug, this charming place offers light refreshments… and has a large collection of furniture from the "House of Mouse".

Adele and her B&B are wonderful! Adele is such a warm and charming lady and she makes superb breakfasts. We stayed for a few days and had a very comfortable stay. Stillingfleet is a lovely place to wander around and although there isn't a pub in the village it didn't spoil our stay. Thank you for making our stay such an enjoyable one, Adele. X.

This is a fantastic venue 5 min from the harbour and next door to a park, which was great for our 2 year old grandson. The breakfast was excellent and freshly made to order. The whole place was spotlessly clean and every amenity you could possibly want was available. I would highly recommend a stay at the crescent.

Would definitely recommend staying at crescent lodge during your Whitby stay. We had a fantastic experience here!
Where do I start?! Booking was easy, pricing was more than reasonable, Gwen and Lee were fantastic hosts, very friendly and helpful but also gave you space and time during your stay, nothing too much trouble either.
Our room had been recently renovated and was absolutely stunning!

Superb host Dave and Gwen. Room was comfy had everything we needed. Close to Whitby town centre. We were in room 3 next to dining room. Quiet restful couple of nights. Breakfast made to order was really nice. Would stay again. Thanks Mr and Mrs Bacon.

First visit to stay at The Florence and definitely won't be our last. Gwen and Dave made us feel very welcome. Dave showed my husband where to park the car, just a two minute walk away, not a problem at all. Room/en suite was spotless, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, juice, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad (not out of a tin). And that was before the lovely cooked breakfast. Breakfast room had lovely view of Pannet Park. Great location for walking into town.

What a beautiful tranquil find! Nicely decorated room, clean and sufficient for a 2 night stay. Unable to see TV from 4 poster bed but wasn't on much and 4 poster seemed to make room smaller but one of the comfiest beds I've slept in and will certainly return, beautiful place.

The shephereds purse is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a alleyway the hotel is a good place to be as its center of the town center.
The bed was roomy and comfy and room maybe compact but easily enough room for me. Shower was warm and strong.
Only thing on first night I didnt see blind so struggled with the autolight going off and on and shining into room so once I saw blind once I pulled it down that stoped that.

Matthew and Helena run an excellent B&B. The breakfast was absolutely perfect. Amazing selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt made from the milk from their son’s cows. Porridge was fantastic with banana, runny honey and cream on the side. As for the cooked breakfast every item was carefully sourced and of the highest quality. No supermarket items here. I wish I could poach an egg so expertly. Earl grey tea, good coffee and proper bread for the toast.

Fantastic comfortable stay and awesome breakfast. Good value for money. Defo will stay again. Thanks for your great hosting!

We came for drinks on Saturday before going for dinner at a Michelin star restaurant, the staff were so friendly and the place was buzzing.
We then came back for a table of 8 for Sunday lunch for a birthday celebration.
The place was full, atmosphere was great.
We had a variety of dishes, everything was delicious, the roast beef was some of the best I have had as were the vegetables etc.
It was the best Sunday lunch we have had in such a long time.

The ox was recommended to us by the people we rented our accommodation from. We were not disappointed at all. The staff were really friendly and attentive, usually when you have kids with you sometimes you are forgotten about but the staff made sure the kids had everything they wanted which was refreshing. You'll not be disappointed if you stop in here for something to eat as the food was really good.

Staying here at moment two day break room clean and cosy got all you need heating 24/7 big bonus tea and coffee great location shops pubs restaurants lots to see waiking distance so Yea good place to stay and visit.

We had a fantastic 3 days in Scarborough, and Tim and Suzie were fabulous hosts. They were full of great suggestions about things to do and places to eat, and this meant that our two young boys had a ball and are already asking about a return trip! The room was great and the breakfast was a knockout — best black pudding I've had! Thanks for a great time both of you!

Hosts, Suzie and Tim couldn't do enough for us, making sure we had a fabulous time in Scarborough. Their guest house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious and with plenty of choices. We had a top rate weekend break.
There's still plenty of reasons to visit again, thank you.

Paul and David are two of the nicest most welcoming gentlemen you could meet. Our stay was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was immaculately cleaned and the breakfast was fantastic. They made a special birthday weekend even more special. Don't think twice about booking because we will definitely be returning.

Had a wonderful stay, Caroline and Nigel could not be more accommodating, the rooms and food are excellent, the location is central to the town and just a short distance to the Yorkshire event centre.
We shall look forward to our next visit to lovely Yorkshire.

Caroline, warmed up my food after a very long journey and having not had chance to eat my lunch, Caroline also made me a salad to go on the side to no extra cost. Nigel gave me a lift to the station on my way home, again no cost. The food was delicious. The room was stunning and very comfortable.

Robin and Tanya are very friendly amazing hosts. Cherry Blossom was so clean and fresh. Everything you needed. We came back to a fresh cake every day. Such wonderful personal touches. The breakfast was delicious. I’ve have never had such a lovely breakfast. They go out of their way to help and make the stay wonderful. I’d live there if I could. More than recommend.

Whitby is such a lovely place, what made our stay special was staying at Ellies guest house, we went with 8 friends and stayed in 5 of the rooms, all of which were clean, comfortable and ensuite, little bathroom extras and towels supplied .

Great stay again. Rooms are great. As it was Goth weekend we were in room 9 for ease of access for all our gear. Breakfast was outstanding and caters for my gluten and dairy allergy. Richard and Joanne are super friendly and helpful. Location is great. Love it.

As a solo weekend traveller, this was a perfect place to stay and feel safe. The owners were so friendly and helpful with their local tips. My room got upgraded and was modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too. When I go back again I definitely book number 7 again.

Clean comfortable room & plenty of storage with a wardrobe, chest of drawers & bedside drawers. A small bathroom but it had a good powerful shower. Breakfast had a good choice was excellent & nicely cooked & presented. Our host John was very friendly & helpful. We have already booked our stay for next year.

What a lovely little B&B! Spotlessly clean. Great location; just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and shops. The cooked breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. We had a warm welcome from John when we arrived and he continued to be a fabulous and extremely helpful host throughout out stay. Just returned from a brill weekend at whitby and stayed at the Europa on Hudson street. Our host were fantastic and looked after us really well. Cant rate our stay highly enough. The rooms are well finished and have plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. Room temp just right.

Stayed at the Europa Sat to Tuesday for hubbys birthday. Great choice, Keith and Yvonne are fantastic Hosts. They helped us from day 1, changed our room due to my health, took us from top floor to 1st floor. We absolutely loved our stay and will definatly stay again.

Just had a brilliant 3 night stay at this bnb. Had a lovely spacious room with a really comfy bed. We had a fridge in our room with fresh milk provided each day and the shower was fantastic! Great location with free street parking. Chris is a top host. Really genuinely friendly and a seriously good chef! The full english is the best weve had in any UK bnb/hotel. Couldnt fault this place not one bit and we cant wait to return. 1st class.

What a gem of a find Rutland West Guest House was for my wife and I. A superb place to stay, in a great location. We had an excellent room, with great facilities, top notch breakfast, all managed by the excellent proprietor Chris, who was welcoming, helpful and very attentive. It was our first stay while visiting elderly family members in the area and we will definitely be going back there again. Great recommendations by Chris on local facilities and beer!
