Absolutely lovely establishment, warm and welcoming, good pint, set in a stunning backdrop.

Just enjoyed three nights at the Street Head. Got a warm welcome — room comfortable — location is great. Food is absolutely spot on — both evening meals and breakfasts and the service is first class. Would highly recommend this little gem of a place.

Lovely stay in rooms 2 and 5, made so welcome. Great food, sunday carvery and sticky toffee pudding delicious, staff so friendly and lovely atmosphere, cant wait to stay again in the very near future.

We’ve just come back from a four night stay. The accommodation was first class. From the lovely friendly
Staff and Landlord, to the amazing food and superb rooms. We could not have been looked after better. It is warm and inviting as soon as you arrive.
We’ve booked again for January and can’t wait to go back.

Stopped at the caravan site next door for a week and used the pub 3 times for food and drinks. The quality, choice and portion size of the food is absolutely 5 ⭐️, the staff are very helpful and so friendly.
If your ever in this area I highly recommend.

Spent the last 5 nights staying in a lovely cottage in Bainbridge and had numerous meals and drinks around this area. This was the best beer and food (especially chips) we've had and by far the most chattiest and friendly publican and staff. Would love to go there if things ever return to normal!

Fantastic location, wonderful atmosphere, and the food at the Sunday carvery is superb. Worth mentioning that the food was exceptionality good value too.

Me, my husband and my son had two nights at the streethead Inn and we absolutely loved every minute. The food was outstanding, the room was lovely and had all the facilities you could need and the view is beautiful. The staff were all helpful and very pleasant and Nigel the owner is such a lovely, warm and welcoming gent. We hope to visit again in the future and would highly recommend anyone that is looking for a place to stay, choose the Street Head Inn, you won't be disappointed.

Super pub with great beers and food, the chef, Base, will cook you the most amazing fish chowder, if you give give him a him a few days notic, this meal meal is not to be missed.

Traditional pub in really rural setting. Always lively and friendly with plenty of space to sit and drink or eat with pool table and dart board.

Great site situated in the dales first visited here over 40 years ago in the last hot summer. Short walk to Thoralby or a 3 mile walk to West Burton stunning place plus the fantastic Streethead inn for exceptional food and fine ales. Won't be leaving it 40 years before I visit again highly recommend.

Fantastic food with wonderful caravan park next door!

Standard pub fare, but good quality and reasonably priced. I had bangers and mash, and my girlfriend had fish and chips. The only downer to the meal was the tartar sauce, stupidly. It was like they had chopped up some pickles and stirred them into some mayo. It didn't taste like tartar sauce at all. I know it sounds quite trivial but I'm partial to my tartar sauce! (and eating my girlfriend's food! ) We stayed the night. The room was clean and comfortable, and met our expectations. The breakfast the following morning was pleasant. Again, good quality. The staff were very attentive, if a bit subdued in their manner.

We received a very warm welcome from Jo who looked after my wife and I during our two night stay our room was spacious king size bed and a bed settee plenty of room for our two dogs digger and Rufus spacious bathroom good views over newbiggin village and fells beyond the food was superb we had duck spring rolls plenty of filling piping hot salmon in hollandaise sauce with asparagus and a selection of fresh vegetables I had the belly busting steak pie couldn't manage a sweet second night chicken mustard and whiskey soup delicious lambs liver and bacon served on a bed mashed potatoes and pork medallions in a creamy pepper sauce freshly cooked vegetables lemon tart to finish the prices are very reasonable the breakfast was also excellent a choice of full English salmon and scrambled eggs eggs hollandaise kipper fillet and poached eggs a selection of cereals toasts and preserves all the waiting staff looked after us both too much trouble and very polite too thank you everyone for making our weekend special.

Lovely village pub. Beers in good condition — Semer Water, Theakston's Best and John Smith's Cask. Good food. Something for everyone in the four sections: linnen table-clothed dining at the bottom, a few pub tables in the quiet next section, more tables in the noisier bar area, and up at the top there are two dart boards, a pool table and a tv.

Perfect getaway. Fantastic location for exploring the Dales, accommodation warm and comfortable, great choice of food on the menu, a hearty breakfast with alternatives if you don’t want a full English, Nigel and staff very welcoming, easy going and friendly. Would highly recommend. Cannot beat an evening sitting with a glass of wine in front of the log fire Would love to return there sometime soon.

Very nice pub, with delicious food and reasonably priced drinks. All main meals come with a choice of veggies or salad, and chips or potatos, making the food portions huge! You definitely won't walk away hungry! I had the veggie stroganoff and I would definitely reccomend it. The pub unfortunately doesnt open untill 6pm which is a bit annoying, but its well worth the wait.

Me n the missus only spent 1 night here but it was spot on. Brilliant food lovely staff and awesome views. We loved it and 1 night wasn't enough really lol defo be back.

The Sunday carvery is absolutely superb and very good value staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Make sure to book a table as it is very popular with both locals and people from the caravan park.

Typical country inn with log fire luxury on suite rooms, and top notch food. All served by the friendly staff and owner Nigel.

Very welcoming with a lovely roaring fire food and staff excellent. Generous portions so choose carefully I didn't need the starter.

The food was excellent and the picturesque view of the surrounding valleys was beautiful. The food was served quickly and the staff were very helpful.
