Beautiful 2 night stay away in the station inn. Perfect location. Room 1 spotless. Staff very welcoming and very helpful. Bar downstairs has a very homely feel, regulars all spoke and didn't feel out of place. 10 out of 10 stay and will definalty be booking again shortly. Thank you for having us. 😊

It's a pub, not a bar. The bar staff are very friendly and can pull pints as though they were born to it. The beer is well kept. I will happily go there again.

Lush little bar, always our first stop when we arrive in Whitby. The staff are dead canny and the COVID precautions are brilliant. Thank you so much for a safe and friendly welcome.

Had a great night, booked for live sport, the euros & they made sure we got a good table with an excellent view of a screen. They even rang us on the morning of our booking to say they’d reserved a good table. Brilliant pub 👍👍👍

Booked online to watch the football, put that on the booking and it was confirmed. However, when we arrived the table they had us on couldn't clearly see the TV. The staff were great, sorted it out so we could move as soon as was practical. Covid measures were really good and they were really attentive, never waited more than a couple of minutes to be served a great pint. Fantastic pub and will definitely be going again. See you on the other side.

Absolutely lovely, only downside was the creaky bed however it certainly didn't take away how nice the room was. All the little touches just added to it. Will be back!

Been here as pub customers, this is Christmas and New Year just for us, no pets, no children no early starts this weekend, fantastic bedrooms and en suite.

Fantastic little hotel/pub. Beautiful decor in both areas, hotel is very modernly decorated whist the pub is very old school classic pub. Staff were all excellent, very friendly, helped us with where to visit etc and pointed us to a lovely greasy spoon down the road. Will definitely try and use this hotel and pub again if we come back to the area!

Beautiful clean room very comfortable bed. Pillows amazing I forgot to ask where they where purchased from as so comfy … the bathroom was stunning. Staff were very friendly even carried out bag upto our room. This is our 4th stay hear and will book again.

Superb traditional pub close to the Whitby rail and bus stations. Serves a great range of cask ales (at least one from the Whitby Brewery) and real ciders.

Good food. Need to stock cellar better. When we went they had no pinot left.

It was under refurbishment so it was a bit upset and the landlord had his Granddaughter in the bar until we left at 2150 and she would not stop screaming and shouting. I do apologise to all, the station pub I was reviewing was the one in Pickering and for some unknown reason, it showed the Station in Whitby. I can honestly say that the one in Whitby is fantastic, everytime we go to Whitby we always call in there and have a great pint of Black Sheep! apologies again.

Beautiful little hotel. Perfectly located right over from the train station. The pub is very old and traditional yet the rooms are modern and beautiful. Fab service from all the staff. Will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.

Live music, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. Located near the town centre, it is well worth a visit. It was very busy on the night we visited but I was told that it is sometimes much more quiet. It seemed the live music had somewhat of a following and this seemed to enhance the atmosphere and made the visit enjoyable for us.

Not the nicest of pubs I have been in little atmosphere other than shouting males. And quite pricey.

Small pub right next to the train station in Whitby. Prices were really reasonable. Seems like a nice place to have a couple of drinks but not somewhere you could spend hours in.

Great traditional pub atmosphere, good music playing though not sure if Juke Box or C. D.
Only had time for one drink as driving back to Durham later, The Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker was spot on, would love to have stayed for more!

Another good stay in room 3, room spotless as ever.
Loved the two nights at short notice as the room only just opened up due to work being carried out, the improvement back to the wood is so nice make it look bigger not that it's on the small size.

Very welcoming and enjoyable stay. Ray as always was a delight, very uplifting and reminded me of my great grandma who also died in a plane crash. Its 3 thumbs up from me.

5 stars are for the bar as I didn't stay in the hotel but first impressions are very good — staff very nice and service is with a smile. Small but cosy and still was able to fit all my family in for a drink and a live band so cannot complain.

Great real ale pub, some nice snug rooms, and often free entertainment. If you like your real ales then this is high on the list of places to visit.

Located opposite Whitby railway station The Station Inn boasts an open fire in winter in the small front bar, with a larger back bar where live music is often played. There is an excellent selection of beers, spirits and wine. Coffee and tea plus soft drinks options are available. Normally there is a minimum of 4 cask ales available from local to regional brewers. There is fair bit of LNER memorabilia within the pub and also the usual sorts of old pictures found in many older pubs. There are a small number of letting bedrooms at the premises but I have not stayed here. The pub is welcoming and friendly to both locals and strangers, and more than likely you'll leave with new friends.

Called in for a drink excellent beer great staff acknowledged us as soon as we entered while she was serving another customer then came straight back to serve us excellent pub well worth a visit.

Great pub, great staff and accommodation to match! We had Room 3 which was exceptional, brilliant bathroom and nice touch tea/coffee etc. Available to top up without having to ask. Couldn't have wished better for our stay and will definitely be back!

This is a proper pub, excellent ales plus guest beers. It has the advantage of being right opposite the bus and train stations, so no driving required.

Fantastic stay. Location perfect & central. Room spacious, clean & modern. Refreshment facilities available outside room at all times. Staff really frisndly & welcomjng.

Great friendly place, friendly staff. Very reasonably priced drinks. The whole place has unique decoration and is beautiful, it's like a blast from the past. They are dog friendly and even provide drinking bowls for the dogs. Very clean even the toilets.

The Station Inn is a great pub with a good selection of beers that is different every time we visit. The family room is appreciated as it means we can take the kids into the pub and people who don't want to be round kids can go into another room.

Lovely gaff, excellent live music and an excellent ale selection. Couldn't rate it higher. Simon the barman was also very friendly and answered any questions we had. With his local knowledge he helped us plan the rest of our weekend. I know where the swinging and dogging stuff happens now. Ace!
