Excellent service. Great home cooked food.

We stayed here one night. Good room, extremely clean. The full Yorkshire breakfast was excellent. We also very much enjoyed our evening meals which were well presented and more imaginative than the norm. All the staff we encountered were friendly, courteous, and professional. We would come again.

Just had a meal with all my family, Service was excellent Food was delicious, can't fault it. Will definitely visit again.

Just got home from are walk up pen y Ghent stayed at craven arms absolutely 1st class rooms clean and very comfortable, food was also 10/10 very friendly, if your looking to stay up in the dales I’d highly recommed it 5 star ⭐️

Lovely food — breakfast and dinner — staff very accommodating, great outside area, couldn’t have been nicer to my son and his pal after a long and tiring bike ride.

Had burger and skinny fries it was delicious also had lemon tart for dessert the nicest lemon tart I have ever had. Staff nice and friendly would definitely recommend eating here fantastic.

We've stayed here 4 or 5 times now. Always clean and tidy, friendly staff, excellent food, dog friendly and spacious rooms.

Accomodated a large group of us at short notice, staff were so welcoming and friendly, food was absolutely delicious, and when we had a cake and sang happy birthday to one of our party, all the people on the surrounding tables and the bar staff joined in singing — lovely friendly atmosphere and we would definitely come back here next time we are visiting! thank you for a great evening.

This place is amazing. We stayed here to climb the three peaks — great room, amazing breakfasts and delicious evening meals. Hosts sympathetic to pathetic walking and blistered feet the next day.

The food was delicious hot well presented great prices. The staff were a pleasure to talk to and will be somewhere we will definitely return to.

Found this place after trawling the internet for somewhere to have Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. The food, drinks and service were all excellent and we both managed to do three courses and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would recommend this place and give it 5 stars.

Stopped by after a walk on Giggleswick Scar. Four excellent quality cask beers (including nearby Settle Brewery). Had a couple of pints and a really good half pound burger with skinny fries. Great quality ingredients. Definitely going to drop in again when I'm in the area. Superb location by Giggleswick Station.

Great place to stay if you are completing the 3 Peaks of Yorkshire Challenge. Excellent staff and service. Good value. Fantastic food which represents the local farming. Great beer and gin selection. Parking available. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a very long time.

Nice place with a good location. Stayed for a night in a clean nice room. Although was slightly small. Stayed with bikes and were very accommodating for them. Good food at night and a nice pub. Breakfast very good.

Amazing place. Good excellent. Staff lovely. We stayed 2 nights, can't fault the rooms. The bar and restaurant were busy both nights but no houses around so people come from far and wide I can only presume! Views were spectacular too. Thank you x.

A really good lunch stop for us. Beautiful surroundings and nice menu. We opted for sandwiches and chips today and they were excellent. The ham was home cooked and cut thickly and there were several other fillings to choose from. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. I am happy to recommend without hesitation.

We visited last night with my partners parents, his father has very limited mobility nothing was too much trouble the food and service was fantastic everyone was so friendly would definitely recommend this place and would go back if in the area again. Very happy trip away made special by such a lovely experience here.

We had one evening meal here when staying in a cottage near by in may 2018. A spacious pub with separate bar & dining room & large beer garden. Very busy on the Friday night we were there. The food was good & our large party of 14 all to enjoyed their evening. A good selection of craft ales & lagers but the wine was expensive at £6.50 for a large glass. An ideal place for couples or families & only 10 minutes stroll from Settle.

We got married in Skipton on Valentines day this year and chose the Cravern Arms in Giggleswick for our wedding breakfast and guest accommodation. We always eat here when we are in the area so the venue choice really was a no-brainer. As expected the food was exceptional; creative, fresh and cooked and presented to absolute perfection. As the wedding was small we ate off the menu and they catered for all of our needs without question or fuss despite being Valentines night and busy with other guests. We stayed for two nights at the Cravern arms and the newly decorated rooms were clean and airy with a wonderful contemporary yet country vibe, the beds were also very comfortable and spacious, perfect after a busy and long day! The lighting and ambience of the venue is very well thought out and it’s just a lovely place to eat or sit with a drink. The friendly and warm staff were the cherry on the cake, they could not do enough to help and accommodate us and our guests. We were particular with the table layout and decoration and they went to every effort make it just perfect. Lastly we would like to thank Lynn and her team for making our special day extra special. Had a 3 course meal for 2 last night and it was fabulous! I was the lucky person to win their Facebook competition and wow, we were impressed.
Best place I have eaten at for a long time.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming and also knowledgeable about the menu when we asked a question.
Bottles of wine are reasonably priced and a good selection.
We will be coming again!

Called in for a late Sunday dinner last night with my partner, beautiful food. Proper Yorkshire pudding! Even made room for a desert and the sticky toffee pudding was fantastic. Really welcoming family run business, really organised and efficient. Found this place on search for sites and stayed over in the carpark with our campervan which was welcomed after getting food and beverages. Will stop in again. Local pale ale was beautiful. Thanks for your hospitality.

Went for our works Christmas meal this weekend, which was really good! Superb service, all 17 meals were brought out at the same time, hot, delicious and perfect size portions. No problem for them to cater to dietary requirements. Would recommend!

We made sure to book in advance although when we arrived (November) there were no other dinners. However that speaks more of Giggleswick off season than the food or service, both of which were fantastic. The burgers are of generous proportions served with a nice salad garnish and well seasoned fries. There is a great selection of local and national ales. Ample parking. Well recommended.

A great place to stay, convenient for Settle and the Dales. Welcoming and helpful, room spacious and an excellent breakfast. Quite peaceful despite proximity of a trunk road.

I have been meaning to write a review of The Craven Arms for quite some time! I first visited on 28th December, 2016, the day my dear Mum passed away. Dad and I chose her resting place at the nearby Brocklands Woodland Burial ground and we were searching for a suitable venue to hold a function for friends and family after Mum's funeral. We met Lynn for the first time and spoke to her briefly about using The Craven Arms in the near future. We loved how welcoming the staff were and how light, spacious and homely the place was and after eating lunch there we were convinced it was a venue we wanted to use. As our plans to give Mum a send off she would be proud of progressed, Dad and I spoke to Lynn about our arrangements and also the possibility of having a string quartet playing on the raised platform in the restaurant — Mum loved live music of all types and I spent time pulling together a playlist of some of her favourite songs for the quartet to play. Lynn was so helpful and open to all of our suggestions. On 10th January 2017, following a beautiful service in Long Preston and Mum's burial at Brocklands, we arrived at The Craven Arms. We were all made to feel so welcome and everything was perfect. Friends and family commented on how wonderful the food and service were and that the range of drinks on offer was excellent. I found out after the day that Lynn had even offered to prepare a gluten free sandwich for a family member which was hugely appreciated.

The Craven Arms is a fantastic place, great owners and brilliant staff. We stayed to complete the Yorkshire 3 peaks and they couldn't do enough to look after us. The location is perfect for walking it isnt that far from the motorway and only a 15 drive from the start of the 3 Peaks. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The breakfast is tasty, and if you are completing the challenge they will provide a spread for you early in the morning. I would highly recommend an evening meal too. The menu has some good choices and the quality of the food is excellent. I would definitely return to the Craven Arms in the future.

Delicious food and a good selection of drinks. A bit out of the way but if you're passing by it's well worth a visit.

Really lovely location, excellent food, and terrific staff. I would recommend this place to anyone. I took the kids in too and they do a good children's menu, but the food and decor are still of a very good quality so kid friendly but quite sophisticated.

Had supper here twice during a recent stay at a nearby B&B. Excellent food and very helpful, efficient staff squeezed us in without a booking. Nice mix of bar eating area and restaurant seating. Will visit again when next in the area. Soon!

First time at this beautiful location and what a fantastic way to spend it at the Craven Arms. The people were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very good. However the food was absolutely amazing. We ate there every night. We will be back without a doubt. Thank you.

High quality food & service. Fantastic setting on the outskirts of Giggleswick. And food to die for. Home made bread is the best I've ever tasted with an amazing soup of the day. Mains pork with crackling best I've had ever. Massive yorkies. Also they do gluten free food so celiacs well looked after. Yorkies again for my wife were massive & amazingly good. Great atmosphere and excellent service get yourself along you won't be disappointed.

A little gem of a hotel. Perfect Base for a visit. Tidy clean comfortable room, a comfy bar to rest the weary legs at the end of the day and grab a nite cap, wonderful friendly staff, and a good chef.

Tried to do the 3 peak challenge but was beaten back by the weather. Stayed over at the craven arms. Had a warm welcome and the staff are really friendly. Rooms are very clean warm. What can I say about dinner. Fantastic! Well worth the stay you won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful experience at ‘The Craven Arms’. Staffs are very friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable and delightful food (different menu every day! ). It’s a perfect location to explore the dale – Ingleton waterfall trail, Malham cove, a train ride from Settle to Carlisle and many more. We have to especially mention Nick’s hospitality and personal attention. We will surely visit ‘The Craven Arms’ again. This establishment is highly recommended.

We only had one night but the accommodation was excellent the staff very helpful and friendly and the evening meal was one of the best we have had for a long time After a good nights sleep the breakfast was superb with the freshest scrambled eggs and the local bacon, sausage, black pudding were all delicious Skipton is quite near worth a look around, nice with different shops and the ride up to Hawes through the Yorkshire Dales is breathtaking We will be visiting again without a doubt Thanks to all at the Craven Arms.
