Beautiful location with lots of restaurants around. Perfect place if you enjoy fresh air and long walks. The staff are very friendly, nice hot shower, delicious breakfast! Especially big thank you to the beautiful Duty Manager, Amelia Bonaccorso, her kindness and warm personality made our stay extra special! Highly recommend.

Stay for my birthday and staff were very welcoming. Gave us a prosecco 🥂 chocolate box and really made us welcome. Such a beautiful atmosphere and the suite with a sea view was amazing absolutely stunning.

We sat and chilled out, lovely atmosphere in the bar area. Good view looking out at the marins especially as it was a dreary rainy day. Very friendly, courteous and professional staff. We ate dinner which was fabulous with very generous portions and slept in one of the most comfortable hotel beds ever! Reception staff were very polite and professional (nothing was too much trouble. ) Would 100% stay at Malmaison Brighton again!

Our first time here (14/07/21, 6:30pm reservation) & having literally just finished our mains, I can honestly say that this was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the Marina, with our wonderful server… Ashleigh making it feel special & relaxed. There’s nothing worse than an over enthusiastic waiter/waitress. Ashleigh has been perfect, attentive, polite & non-intrusive. We’ll definitely visit again on our next visit. Thank you 😊

Ate in the restaurant … such fab service alstaff lovely and attentive for my daughters birthday and the food was amazing! Only downside was we were charged for starter we didn’t order (£8) couldn’t sort at time as pressure to leave as was a few minutes to 10pm!

Excellent staff in the restaurant, led by Charlie, whom I would employ at a drop of a hat!

My first complaint was about the bed having stayed in the hotel a handful of times I was left Absolutely angry the bed in room 344 on the 3rd floor is like sleeping on Concrete! Then to top off the visit a couple having a Domestic argument at 3am not having the Energy due to being on medication to go down and complain at 3 am and my partner being pregnant Im getting told they is nothing they can do about a refund staff come across rude no customer service skills at all AVOID Avoid a travelodge has better customer service then this hotel shameful really!

Me and my partner absolutely love malmaison brighton… staff are amazing and friendly… rooms are amazing and spotlessly clean… first night back open after being in lockdown and the staff are doing an amazing job thank you sooo much for another amazing stay… we will be back again soon ⛱

Amazing stay — fantastic room — great food — all in all one of the best.

Last night I had my 40th birthday dinner with friends. It was in the library which is beautiful. Ellie our host was amazingly friendly but professional. The food and space was great. No hassle to leave even sorted some speakers so we come have music during dinner. All my friends were impressed thank you.

Lovely views onto Marina. Comfortable bed, spacious room. Great room service and great selection on breakfast menu. Ample parking (just off site) in marina car park which is free.

The Christmas menu was great. The food is always brilliant, relaxing surroundings, good table service and well worth a visit especially for the Sunday buffet and roast.

Rude bar staff. Got told to go to my room if I wanted a drink as bar had closed wasnt even 9pm. Never been to any hotel and bar closes before 9 PM and I stay in hotels ever week.
plus I asked for one pint of lager and didnt even get a pint lol.

You definitely get what you pay for! Gorgeous food and excellent wine. Cracking bill too but totally expected and worth it! Thoroughly recommended for a special night out.

Lovely Sunday stopover for wedding anniversary. Leisurely Sunday lunch with unlimited Prosecco (they left the bottle with us in the end! ) then a lovely room with marina view (opted for no balcony as thought it was going to be cold and rainy) was a lovely relaxed day with a couple of comp drinks from the receptionist as it was our anniversary…

Booked a room for our 10th anniversary room meal and breakfast. Upon arrival at reception we we're given a complimentary upgrade on our room, explained everything we needed to know. Staff are very helpful friendly and nothing is too much to ask. Our room was amazing bed was so big and comfy very stylish. Lovely little mini fridge and condiments on the table obviously at an extra cost but still a lovely choice. We often eat and drink here and is one of our favourite places. Sophisticated chilled surroundings. Highly recommend.

Lovely staff, the manager is absolutely amazing and she's very accommodating. I'm a regular. And love this place. Perfect weather is an added bonus… and location for a romantic break. For fun and a good place to drink and eat. Offers are available on line… book in advance for best rates and deals. Rooms can be small worth paying for bigger room if your spending time in there wink wink! I booked a Saturday night 285 and room was tiny… make sure you check! … if they're fully booked your stuffed… and can't do anything about it…

Really enjoyed our stay here! Quirky and modern, clean and great location. Excellent view of marina and sea. The two barman really made our night — great conversation and superb cocktail makers. Looking forward to checking out other malmaison hotels in this lovely group.

Friendly staff, well located. Comfortable rooms. Lighting and decor is a bit… odd. Very slow Internet. Park in the concrete multi-storey car park, level 6 or 7 for board walk access to the hotel. (ignore the time restrictions)

I visited the Malmaison for a meal with friends. The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the marina and out to sea. We had a table outside and although the hotel was fully booked it didn't feel crowded or busy, there was lots of space. The decoration is tasteful and modern with lots of quirky items to spot, such as the antique diving helmet! I had a three course meal and everything was exquisite. The potatoes deserve special recognition, they were devine, almost as good as the Steak itself! The Chocolate torte I had for dessert was to die for… The staff were so friendly and attentive. The waitress who served us went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted. It was also highly appreciated that the chef came out of the kitchen to personally ensure sure that we were happy with our meals. Excellent customer service! Overall a thoroughly wonderful evening with friends which the hotel helped to make extra special!

Stayed here on business for 4 nights. The bed very comfortable, the shower didn’t drain too quickly and had a slight overlap of water when I had a long shower. The room itself style over substance, beautiful but tiny for the price my business paid. A cheque had been paid and banked but still tried to charge me for the room, quickly sorted though. Balcony overlooking the sea and harbour nice again but tiny and not well designed as you had to move around the door to open/ shut it with no handle on the outside Breakfast nice selection and nice service but a little pricey considering how much the rooms are.
Dinner though I’d eat elsewhere was slowwww and I thought quite expensive took 45 mins to get 2 burgers and chips, the 4 cocktails I ordered for the 2 for 12 deal took 20 mins and they were not that busy and we were sat rn the bar area when the football was on. Download the marina gold card and go to prezzo half the cost and really good service.

What a hidden gem. It was an amazing experience. When we arrived we was not sure where to park and called the hotel. They was very helpful. Once we had arrived we settled in and thought to have an afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was wonderful. A great unique twist which worked wonders. As we sat and had the tea we looked our over the marina which was just out of this world. The service is one of the best the staff are attentive and honest. They are delightful in the morning at breakfast and there was a lady from possibly Argentina with long black hair (sorry if it is wrong) her customer service is next to none. Polite, funny, attentive that is all you need in the morning, such a delight to deal with.

So after a long day in Brighton doing the 2017 London to Brighton mini run and travelling back to stay overnight in Croydon before heading home to halesowen we decided that This year we would stay over in Brighton. After doing the normal search on the net we booked 2 rooms at this hotel. So having done this year's run we headed to the hotel to book in, we parked on the car park which is free and no time restrictions even though the sign says it does. Finding the hotel was ok.
On entering the hotel we felt out of place that only posh people stayed here not us working class folk, but we were made welcome. Unfortunately one of the rooms wasn't and so we were offered a free glass of Italian dish water which every woman on the planet is drinking! We changed it for a coke instead.
When we went to our room we found it to be a disabled room which to be honest didn't bother us one bit. Once settled in I tried to make a coffee, now in any other hotel instant is the norm but here it's filter in a cup! Having managed to make a mess I managed to finally work it out. The bed was good lack of storage but that didn't matter, TV was big but some of the channels didn't work. Would I use this hotel again then yes already looking at next year for after the 2019 London to Brighton mini run.
Oh if you don't want to eat in the hotel there are plenty of places right outside the front door.

Hotel is beautiful with lovely rooms. Set right on the harbour. As a hotel four or five stars. However, don't eat in the restaurant. It was very disappointing, verging on pub food. Service was dreadful and at £70 a head you were left wondering who robbed you.

We must acknowledge you guys, from walking in the hotel, right up to leaving, you provided a fantastic experience and stay for myself and my fiancée for her birthday in the Ibiza Suite room 353, the welcome by the staff on the desk, the welcome drinks, showing us to our room and going through the technicalities of the features in the room, which was absolutely fantastic, it was a room perfectly apt for myself and my fiancée, so much so, the framed picture on the wall representing our favourite clubnight, backtobasics and our friends named at the bottom of it, Ralph, Dave and James, they couldn't believe it when we messaged them, the whole room was perfect! To top it all, you had placed a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room and a complimentary glass of prosecco each from the bar, which we were absolutely over the moon with so thank you so much for those gestures. The breakfast in the morning was delicious to say the least, set us up for the whole day, and we left our luggage with you for the afternoon while we went shopping.
We sincerely want to thank you all, especially Sylvie ( (I think that's the correct spelling) on the desk, and another young lady, who I am really annoyed with myself for forgetting her name, very young petite lady, working on the desk when we arrived on Friday 13th and checked out on Saturday 14th, they both were brilliant and welcoming, nothing was too much for them.

Loved my stay. The room was lovely and the afternoon tea was lovely. Spent the first night in the bar looking out on the marina. Richard was a lovely barman and host.

Really nice hotel. Bit more modern. Right on the marina so loads to do and places to eat. Great stay.

We had a 2 night stay on a meal and room basis, which was a very good price. The room was very small with practically nowhere to hang clothes. Things have to be left out on some little shelves. The bedside lamps are a stupid design and will not be long before they are broken off. The whole thing reeks of design over function. Location is great and is next to the only free car park in Brighton.

Sunday lunch with the family staff very pleasant but staff seemed to be struggling with a busy restaurant, food was good but main meal meat was tepid long wait for sweets, overall definitely room for improvement I would say one of the problems being that the restaurant was understaffed and surely it’s not that difficult to produce hot food! So much competition in Brighton come on Mal Maison get with it.

Really vibrant and funky after a recent refurb-this place really stands out. The staff are all about making sure you’re happy. Well located within Brighton Marina, with all of its attractions and just a great place to stay by the sea!

Went on a study day held there. Easy to find, great view across the marina, friendly staff, comfy conference room and delicious food. Would have stayed the night before had I not thought it was a bit expensive. Would certainly reconsider that now though.

Excellent hotel with lovely views over the marina. The staff are very helpful too. The area we feel could be improved is the hanging space for dresses and trousers etc.

Beware of the sea view rooms! Otherwise lots to like about this hotel. Clean, modern room, comfortable bed, great restaurant and very friendly staff. The only downside was the sea view or lack of it. I paid for a Mal Club Sea view expecting a slightly nicer room with a good view. We arrived in the dark and the room was lovely but we were very disappointed to wake to a partial sea view, only visible if stood right by the window. I’d stay again but not pay for the sea view.

The hotel has significantly improved over time. The bar has recently be renovated which is great. The rooms I have stayed in have been very nice and spacious with good views looking over the sea. The rooms are of reasonable value especially with some of the deals they run. If you need somewhere to stay in the marina I would highly recommend Malmaison.

We have just spent 3 lovely days @ Malmaison in the Brighton Marina. Excellent staff, tasty food & very comfortable room.

The hotel itself is beautiful, I stayed on a dinner bed and breakfast rate. They had run out if most starters on the menu so I was told we could pick off the main menu, when we got our bill we were charged £13.00 food supplement, £10.00 service charge, for what, surely that should be included in the price you pay to stay! Overall an expensive night away, beware hidden charges!

Great decor, great location. It was very nice to have free parking in Brighton! Would stay again.

Nice place for a work do. Canapes took some time to arrive but we enjoyed them.

Great location on the marina. There are lots of restaurants nearby. You can go for a walk around the marina. Rooms are well finished. There is a large asda nearby which stays open late. The hotel is easy to get to using the bus network.

The Malmaison Brighton make over is fantastic. We were there a year ago and the transformation is great! The friendly helpful team make such a difference. The parking close by is great and its free something we are not used to!

Stayed in Malmaison for two nights, including continental breakfast. We stayed in room 304 which is an inland view. Room was nice and cosy with disabled amenities if needed. Breakfast was typical continental style, basic but pleasant. Reception staff were particularly friendly.

Went for a quick coffee with family service was quick and professional with a friendly barman that made a great macchiato and … if it's not raining the view is amazing!

The Mal Maison is so lovely inside! Fresh and modern but dotted with vintage items. We had afternoon tea there and we're very well looked after. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Will definitely come again.

Amazing definitely worth a visit! The Hotel has just been refurbished and looks amazing! We had a party of 30 at the weekend… the food and service was wonderful. The bar staff were kind and efficient. A member of the bar staff named Walter was outstandingly brilliant!

Spending a couple of quality days with my boyfriend and its just a beautiful location and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Very beautiful hotel rihht by the water, perfect place to stay for vacation, also it is not that expensive like $150 a night, very good quality.

For overall of Seattle hotel is great! We got offer of a package double with view and We loved it! However, the food just ok and the room does not have wardrobe! The breakfast were yummy.

We had a really nice stay here. The hotel staff where helpful and attentive. Its not the hight of luxury but for the cost very good value for money. It is not central (a short taxi ride away from the centre of Brighton) but a lovely location by the sea and lots going on around the marina. With free parking you will save alot just getting a taxi or taking a lovely stroll to town from here.

Clean and tidy but sadly the King size bed is just 2 singles zipped together with a wafer thin mattress topper making you have to sleep as it were 2 singles. The higher end B&W speaker system is all well and good if you have an old style iPod/iPhone to doc with which we did not but sadly next door very much did and played very loud music all night. No air con. Very expensive for what you get, maybe the double room would have been a better option.

My favourite place to stay in Brighton, its just a nice place to be and the service is excellant.

For the price you expect somewhere in the room to put your suitcase. But there is nothing for the price you expect a wardrobe. But there is only a bar with 3 or 4 hangers on the side of the TV and not protected against dust for the price you expect someone at the front desk. Try to call you'll see what I mean whether calling from outside or from the room, expect some major delays before you reach anyone for the price you expect air conditioning. There is a small radiator in each room but expect to be very hot if the hotel is hot (first week I was there I had to sleep with the windo open) and expect to be cold if they have forgotten to turn on your radiator prior your arrival (second week I was there my room was about 12 to 16C and even after 3 hours radiator on high, I was barely confortable).
