We tried your take away Sunday lunches for the first time today. They were beautiful! Lovely touch having the sauces in pots with each dinner too.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Had the lamb dinner. My daughter had the gammon. Plenty of vegetables. The meal was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Would definitely recommend and order again.

Ordered over phone today. Collected at 3pm 2 beef dinners the lady who took my order promised she would try to keep me chicken and she did! meal was amazing and they also wrote thank you key worker on the box it made my day see you next sunday for definite.

This place is amazing. The owners are running this place perfectly. Highly recommended for the food and hotel.

Had a take away beef dinner for two and honestly has to be the worst £20 I've ever spent. The veg was literally non existent I had one floret of cauliflower and brocoli as did my partner except he didn't have any brocoli even though we asked for all the veg it was no where to be seen, only thing our plates seemed to have plenty of was peas and carrots and as for the Cabbage there was literally about 5 clumps of it on our plates roasties were soggy and burnt to a crisp also I ordered extra roasties for a extra £3 and didn't even receive them, by the time I realised this though it was evening time as this was when we were having our dinners. Also there was no sign of a parsnip! I will never go here again only reason we did try someone else was because the ivor hael was closed and they're a tough dinner to beat delivered.

Amazing dinner and entertaining staff working hard to keep us happy at this difficult time will definitely be paying regular visits five star.

15 of us come tonight just a friendly catch up with our local car group unique ford well what I can I say the food was lovely from starters to main course and the deserts was spot on we had a lovely welcome and the staff was very helpful and friendly we will be back again thanks for a lovely night.

One word "awful" had our christmas doo there last saturday and it was terrible. 20.00 for tat an slops. The plates were cardboard section school plates, plastic cutlery and dont even get me started on the food quality. The whole place is ruff.

Tried putting this review on booking. Com. But was told to edit it before they would allow it. This is what I put… under no circumstances stay at this hotel and I stress in the strongest possible term do not stay at this so called hotel. Its crawling with spiders, cobwebs up at the windows, never been cleaned. The smell is horrific, changed rooms was told no one had stayed in there for over a week had the same problem, as well as that there was a turd in the toilet that had been there longer than a week and the water turned brown, so went to reception and checked straight out. Was told I will get refunded as we booked through booking. Com but will have to wait for it. Tried to find somewhere else as it was an event weekend everywhere was full and travelled over 300 mile just to leave very disappointing and upsetting. Never ate there hygiene rating only a 3… the room you book is nothing like the photo doesn't come close… hope to get my refund soon and I do not recommend staying here… ☹️☹️

We had our Christmas party there on the 15th. The food was lovely. Staff was friendly. Genuine good time.

A nice little hotel which is an excellent base if you have planned a visit to the Royal Mint, which is directly across the road. We arrived quite late, around midnight, we found the night porter, who was attending to his duties around the hotel, he was friendly and helpful and helped us check in and showed us to our room. The room was clean and comfortable and after a good nights sleep we got up, washed in our ensuite, dressed and went for breakfast. The breakfast was good and when the chef noticed that some items were running low, quickly cooked some more, again the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful and even allowed us to leave our car in the hotel car park whilst we visited the Royal Mint. A very enjoyable stay and friendly staff.

Place ok needs a good paint job inside and out maybe gents toilet near bar needs upgrading food was ok but need to change menu every week.

We got married here on 28/7/18. Jade & Tasha went above & beyond our expectations. It was better than we could have possibly done ourselves & to be fair, what you done, exceeded the image that we had in our head. Everybody complimented on the way it looked & complimented the buffet too. We were told that it was reasonably priced for alcohol too, which reflected in the fact that, our guests had literally drunk you dry out of Strongbow, Fosters & Disaranno. Good luck to Jade on the safe arrival of her baby & good luck to Tasha for her future functions. I will definately be recommending you to everyone I know. Have stayed here regularly. You get what you pay for and a bit more at The Three Saints. This is the quietest, most peaceful hotel in the area. We ask for a room overlooking the garden and surrounding woods. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Large flat screen tv's and big comfortable beds. A bit dated, but we much prefer it to the soulless Premier Inn and it's much cheaper, and a lot more personal.

We popped in for a cold drink after doing The Mint tour. The carvery smelt delicious and very popular, not an empty table in sight.

The Sunday lunch is lovely, staff friendly, my only complaint is the ladies toilets, I've been twice in the last 2 months and 1 toilet is out ov order, a good clean and decorate would benefit the toilets x.

Stayed here for one night as we were seeing the Rolling Stones in Cardiff, helpful, friendly staff good breakfast.

Food was good, very cheap and well cooked but the dining room was uncomfortably hot on a scorching day. It's a kind of 'no frills' place which looked clean and tidy. The female toilets were tricky for anyone getting drunk because of the 2 steps down then 2 steps up — you would have to watch your step! Staff were very nice and the food portions were generous. Carvery was £7.99 and drinks were also reasonable. Excellent value!

The staff are lovely and really helpful the beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. We ate in the hotel and the food was nice. The breakfast is help yourself hot and cold it is extremely good value for money.

Air con was on full and it was freezing in there as was the food. Lots on offer for the main course but wasn't that warm sadly. Dessert was plates of unevenly cut portions of cake with several requests and waits for cream as only one jug was provided. I'm my opinion you need to
Work a lot harder at making this place work as a wedding venue, Good luck!

Tired old and smelly could do with being knocked down and a hotel being built in its place to be honest. Decided not to take the chance and stay so left.

Stayed here for 2 nights, the bed is comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was good and chips from the bar tasted fine. The hotel is having some renovation works which I think will improve the look of the rooms. We had a problem with Wi-Fi not working in our room so we're offered a change of rooms. The rooms are all ensuite and have a small TV and kettle in them (we didn't use the TV but assume it works). It is opposite the Royal Mint so literally walked across the road to get to it. There is a bus service to the hospital down the road but doesn't go past the hotel. He hotel also has a carpark which is shared with the bar and restaurant which are all in the same building. I would recommend having your own transport if you stay here because besides for the Royal Mint everything else is a bit of a journey to get to.

Visited for the Sunday lunch buffet. My partner loved the food, good price but more of a local pub atmosphere than a restaurant.

Had a lovely family meal to celebrate a 70th birthday. The staff were very accomadating and the food was really nice.

Very friendly and a great price. Breakfast as good as any I've had. The place could use some sprucing up, and modernising, but clean and comfortable.

I have used this venue for a Chronic Kidney Disease Support Group once a month. They have provided excellent service and have always been very accommodating. I have heard they do a delicious Roast dinner on a Sunday, which I haven't had the chance to try yet but hope to very soon.

Quit a nice place some food a little uncooked spasious hall but small upstairs bar.

Food was great and the staff were friendly but entertainment was awful and the toilets were disgusting… no hand soap at all even at the start of the night. Nowhere near worth the £35 a head they charged.

Nice to see a family run business. We used the bar for a work party. I had food and it was very nice and reasonably priced.

Brilliant hotel, friendly staff; rooms are clean. Prices are reasonable and the locals are great. Against the Premier Inn, I would choose these guys every day. Plenty of safe parking too.

Stayed at the Three Saints Hotel las weekend. Great experience! The staff was so nice and it felt like they were one big happy family. We had the sunday carvery and it was absolutely amazing. So much variety. Cant recommend that enough. We had the bar food too and that was good too. Also a shout to the people who likes large comfortable beds! Had a great sleep. The hotel is just 20 min drive from Cardiff and at the foot of some beautiful hills. We went sightseeing and it was stunning. Highest recommendation from me and the wife.

Good place, however the decor could use an overhaul, years in the carpet, rickety stairs. Breakfast selection was mediocre, not much choice for vegetarians and not positioned very well to go out and eat. One up side is it is directly opposite the royal mint museum.

Tired and in great need of a refurb. Good if using only as a place to sleep with no extras.

The worst hotel I've had the miss fortune of staying in. From the moment I got outof the car I could tell I was going to be in trouble, the room smelt of sewage, it was helped when I opened the window but because there was a wedding party on I hadron shut the window to keep the sound out, I went to the restaurant for food but there were no staff to serve me so I left and went to pizza Hut The wedding party went on until 1am I wanted to go to sleep at 10pm no chance, after complaint about the noise nothing changed and just had to bear it. I was kept awake during the night by the extremely loud doors and poor sound proofing. In the morning the breakfast had no eggs or toast. Honestly if your thinking of staying here don't. Worst hotel I've stayed in this side of Asia.

Good value for money and friendly staff.

Did not enjoy it all, dinner was really salty and the lay out was terrible, I had to keep getting up to let people pass I was standing more than sitting to eat my food so even if it was good food, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it anyway. This place was recommended to me but looks like we came down on a bad day, very disappointed.

Basic accommodation. Room clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall value for money.

I recommend this place for anyone who is planning a wedding as our was outstanding and the staff are so friendly they make you feel like one of the family, 5 star's is not enough, not even 50, or 100 star's truly the best wedding venue place.

We had our wedding here on the 28th may and it was an amazing day the staff at the three saints were truly amazing and so friendly jason and the staff made our day for us everything was brilliant we didnt have to worry about a thing as jason and the staff did it all. We would recommend any one to use the three saints for their wedding or party its top class and has a friendly welcoming atmosphere thank you so much to everyone xx.

Tasty food really nice staff and clean toilets and bar. Had a burger and was very nice. Tried my wife's steak and it was lovely and cooked rare like we asked. My son enjoyed his burger too and the drinks were as expected cold abd tasty.

My husband and I stayed for the night, great value for money, great cooked dinner, all you can eat breakfast very good, and best of all is the staff. Thank you donna and mel winsborough.

Went to the three saints earlier today total rip off not a world buffet at all they where doing chicken nuggets and turkey dinosaurs all the Chinese food was spicy the Indian looked like mush it was more like a 10 year old pop and crisp party give it 1 out of 10 for the effort do not go here you wll be highly disappointed was not the only person to say how bad it was.

Cheap, Very cheap, to the point of almost neglect. While the bed was clean the the on site catering service good the rooms are very run down, dated, and needs desperate refurbishment. I found 2 of the light fittings in the room didn't work, and there was a long wait for hot water to arrive at the tap. Also in the bathroom, I found that the shower curtain had broken and was held up by some cable ties. And the tiles really could do with a good clean! despite these issues I slept soundly and ate well. If your short on money and literally looking for a place to crash, this is it.

Very dated overall, unclean and mouldy bathroom, carpet smelt of urine, totally overpriced.
