Nice staff, nice room but will not accept cash since when has legal tender not been accepted.

We will stay again 💯 next time highly recommended to small family, rooms with sofa bed for the little ones.

Thoroughly recommend! Staff helpful and polite, cleanliness not 100% but certainly ok. The included breakfast had enough on offer and was better than we expected it to be. We had dinner included with our stay at sawyers bar and were delighted! … great staff and service and the food was amazing, the Sunday roast delicious. Would certainly stay again.

Loved this place. All the staff are super friendly and the room was just perfect for our valentine night away.

I have used this hotel since being build and trading under the Hampton by Hilton. Usually very good and great food at Sawyers, the only issue is after a hard day at work and you can not get a table for tea, you are left having to drive out for food ☹️ If you want to eat in the Hotel make sure you book in advance, or consider finding a hotel that can cater for residents.

Nice hotel. There are always plenty of staff around to help if needed. The staff are super. The rooms are decent sizes. Breakfast is free in the morning until 10am — bacon, sausages, scrambled egg, toast, and beans are available. There is a bar that serves alcohol all night.

A very modern highway side hotel with air condition, free Wi-Fi and breakfast. The decoration is very good and it uplift the said three stars rating. In someway the hotel furnishing is better than a four star hotel. The downside is the TV is small in the room. Breakfast was good and it seems there are some extra items from the usual. I think this is a great hotel for travellers going between Wales and England via M40 and M48. I have not used it as a base to travel around. Judging from the limited timetable of the bus, I think it would be difficult but doable.

Super friendly and helpful staff who happily placed our food items in their walk-in fridge. Perfect junction location 3mins drive away from the services and rightly priced. Spent 2 nights and had no issue. All necessary items were provided. Giving 4-stars as I was disapponted with the quality of sprung mattresses on the double bed and sofa bed we had in our family room. Us the parents were fine but the little one kept on waking up with the noise. Otherwise, two thumbs up!

Very nice hotel. Clean, easy to navigate and the rooms and in particular the bathrooms are well designed except the bathroom sliding door doubles up as a wardrobe door, it's tinted glass and located close to the room door so the level of privacy is not great if you're sharing. The mattresses are HARD so if you are used to soft to medium firmness ask for a mattress topper to be fitted before you arrive as these are available. Parking is free, breakfast is good if a bit limited when it comes to healthy options. Would stay again.

Nice, modern room with air conditioning. The bathroom is also nice with just a shower but for people who don't need baths it should be no problem. The room has a small sofa which I think was also a sofa bed but didn't check. Has the usual iron and ironing board (essential for business travelers) which is always nice. The breakfast is simple fare but good and the best thing is that they have take away cups for your coffee in case you are in a rush! There is a restaurant opposite the road which is an American bar and grill — nice food but don't expect healthy eating. Only the down sides are that there are no drawers in the room so you can't take out your clothes. There were only a few hangers in the wardrobe but I'm sure you could ask for more if need be. Lastly there is a brewery nearby so there is an odor that can be quite strong but you can't smell it inside the hotel and room.

Really nice hotel. All staff were friendly and helpful, all very well presented. Rooms were of a good size and very clean and modern. Nice size TV in the rooms. Although we didn't spend much time here due to traffic on route. I would recommend this hotel.

Location is excellent as a base for exploring and hotel is good too. A minor criticism is better fruit selection at breakfast but that is being very critical. As we were here for a Rolling Stones concert the hotel played their music all day fab All in all is great. Friendly staff too. Thanks.

Great idea from Hilton Hotels. A budget hotel with the customer service you'd expect from a Hilton. The food was good and with breakfast included in the price. The room was clean and tidy and upto date. Overall a good night's sleep.

Can't fault the place. Paid 51 pound. Well appointed room. Very comfy bed. Friendly professional staff. Quiet landings and soundproof rooms (there were babies everywhere but couldn't hear them) easy to find. Breakfast was brilliant. Simple stuff done well. Will use again and reccomend. Best hotel for this price range I've ever stayed in.

Good hotel, but in the middle of nowhere if you want to walk to anywhere. Room was pleasant, clean and quiet. A bit tatty in the bathroom though. Parking free and a couple of places to eat on same site. One a well known hot and cold sandwich shop, the other a basic restaurant. Breakfast in the morning was ok, cooked or continental DIY. No fried eggs though just scrambled.

The hotel is lovely outside and in. Very welcoming and room looked great. On first look the room was very clean and well decorated. The TV was very small but not major issue. Blackout blinds where amazing and you could not hear the m4 at all. The shower was great too apart from the soaps on the wall. Had to press the button quite hard and unbeknown to me if you push up the dispenser falls out and smashed in the shower sending bits of plastic everywhere… so that's where the likes end. The bed was extremely hard which is one thing, however the worst thing was when you had the fan on. The windows do not open and you can only reduce the heat to 18 which is still too warm for me. But I can live with that when the fan was on it made the bed seriously vibrate/shake for a few seconds and continues to do this every 10/15 mins so your dropping to sleep and then get woke up. I also went to the reception at 5am and asked for a blanket. He said they had no blankets but had plenty of duvets. We had a sofa which was more comfortable then the bed so he said no one was available till 7am but he would get one up as soon as housekeeping turned up he would have one sent straight away. He didn't which was very disappointing. Breakfast a great selection and even had a waffle machine! Hot breakfast not much choice but tasted fine. So check out is at 12 which is great for a chain hotel so seeing as I had no sleep me and my partner went up to our room till check out. At 11.

Clean and smart hotel in a good location for commuting to South Wales. Near the motorway surrounded by not much at all, best for business travelers rather than romantic getaways or families. Helpful staff and meeting rooms available. Plenty of good parking.

First time stayed at this hotel sat 28 April. Excellent value for money. Very clean. Lovely staff. Excellent breakfast, good selection of foods for everyone's taste. Will definitely be staying again.

Located very close to the M4 and free Parking. Room is good size and has A/C and Heating which is great. Rooms very well sound proofed, unable to hear any noise including the roadworks on the Motorway. Breakfast (which is included) was very good. Full English Breakfast, Toast, Waffles, Cereal and more. Wide variety of drinks and all self service so you can get exactly what you want.

Good quality, clean hotel for an overnight stay. Location is difficult without a car, on the M4 close to the bridge. You can get a taxi into Newport. Quick 25 minute drive to Cardiff. Clean, large rooms, really friendly and helpful reception staff and a good quality Hampton buffet breakfast.

Great hotel, handy for my work trips to Cardiff as easy to get to just after the bridge. Great staff, nice bar and clean and well equipped bedrooms. It's brought me back to the Hilton brand.

Nice clean rooms. Good value for money. Ample free parking. Friendly staff. At breakfast the staff find it a challenge to replenish quick enough at peak times. This is my third stay here. Only 30mins from Cardiff.

Rooms are comfy but basic. There is a limited selection of evening meals so tend to eat out. Gym is compact and small. Staff are friendly and will always try to help.

Good standard of accommodation all round. Room very comfortable. Used the gym. Hot breakfast items limited but good value.

Very nice & clean, staff very helpful. Only downside for us, it very hot everywhere, especially the bed rooms. Also breakfast was very disorganised if you went in after 9 (it was a Sunday, Saturday breakfast was fine) not enough tables, cups bowls etc, long waits for food as kept running out. But dispite this the food was good. Planning to stay again hopefully it won't be too hot next time.

Nice location and easily Accessible from M4. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful, but the duty manager lacks the same attitude and looked grumpy and wasn't as happy to help.

Great place. Clean with a complimentary breakfast big rooms and a bar. Highly recommended. Transit links are not great but if you're driving it's great.

Lovely hotel. Comfortable beds. Fixed windows mean AC is a must have if you get hot easy. Breakfast was great. For a quick stop over night it is perfect, with food just opposite. Will use again if ever my travels take me to Wales again.

For the price I paid and was overcharged, the room was substandard in features and stayed in more luxurious rooms, for less. Quite disappointed. Only saving graces, were the room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Highly recommended this hotel, beds are excellent and hotel room standards are high as expected at Hilton's. The front desk team have always been polite and the food is great and kitchen staff are always very polite and quick. Can't recommend enough.

Even without the free hot breakfast, this place would be better than a Premier Inn and MILES better than any Travelodge. The fact you get the free hot breakfast is the icing on the cake. The staff are very friendly, it feels like there are enough of them, and they genuinely seem to give a hoot about your comfort. The rooms are clean and nicely laid out in typical budget hotel Fashion but have a slightly more upmarket feel than a Premier Inn. One negative, there was no lock on my glass bathroom door, so whistle if you don't want anyone bursting in on you having a poo. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay. Very helpful and polite staff. Not the first time we have stayed and its a very comfy and pleasant nights sleep. Hotel is very clean and tidy. Not a spec of dust.

Very clean, easy to find nice rooms but and a big but the beds are not so good (hard) and Sharp sticking out edged that you top your legs open every time you pass.

A nice hotel. Our first stay was great and very good value. The rooms are cleaned and well appointed. The location is great, right next to the motorway (no road noise can be heard) and the free breakfasts are very good. The three stars us because on our last stay yesterday, the air conditioning in the room was broken which meant that the room was stifling hot, and the window was unable to be opened.

Absolutely love this place. Quality throughout and cheery staff. Great stop over for the night.

Excellent hotel with fantastic customer service. I use it on a regular basis for client meetings and love the fact that they have great coffee, free Wi-Fi and lots of easy parking at a convenient location. I have also attended breakfast meetings and the food is super too! I highly recommend the Hampton Hotel.

Hamptons are good everywhere. Beds are perfect, it's the perfect business hotel.

Had the best time ever. Can not name one negative point about the hotel. I would have happily spent a lot more for the service we got.
