It was such a relaxing time, with amazing staff, good food and wines. Enjoyed walking by the golf courses.

Great place let down badly by the food especially the strathearn.

What a fantastic New Year at Gleneagles As a celiac I could not believe the choice of food available to me in every restaurant and cafe. New Year’s Eve dinner was incredible, entertainment the entire evening was outstanding, Will definitely be returning with the family.

Absolutely fabulous experience. I am here for a Spa Day which is a treatment, use of the faculties and a 2 course lunch. Karen, my spa therapist was unbelievable: professional, friendly and did everything she could to help me relax and enjoy my treatment (‘the long exhale’). Every member of staff has been so helpful, kind and attentive. The spa itself is delightful and one of the best I’ve been too. I especially loved the relaxation room — comfy, peaceful and very chilled. Lunch was delicious as well.

Highly recommended and the staff can’t do enough to make your stay a pleasant one. If you get just one chance to stay at this fabulous hotel, take it. I did! Cheers. 😎👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

What a place. I could spend all day commenting about this place. Yes it is expensive but it is worth it. The staff are superb and everything is laid on to please the guest. Golf is superb, accommodation and food excellent, location fantastic. You have to go and stay to experience it for yourself.

The service is second to none. Such beautiful surroundings. Wonderful food in all restaurants and bars. Simply stunning.

This was my fourth visit for afternoon tea and unfortunately this time was very disappointing. Service was very slow. There was much less savoury items compared to previous years.

Food stunning, beautifully presented and tailored to the needs of a fussy eater too! Dormy house service from staff on arrival and during lunch was so well organised and felt really safe, not easy times serving people under the new rules but underneath every mask you could tell there was a real smile. Could not fault at all. Will be back as soon as I get a pay raise!

The hotel in all aspects is absolutely immaculate. Great golf, great spa, great food. Our daughter got engaged here and the staff were unbelievably helpful and we cannot thank you enough! Beautiful surroundings with a lovely scenic footpath around the golf course. The lodges are well equipped, beautiful and spacious.

Another superb experience at Gleneagles. Attentive service from start to finish. Beautifully appointed suite, expert massage treatments, lovely cocktails and outstanding food in Restaurant Andrew Fairlie. Without fault.

A lovely refurnished Retuarant In a beautiful setting. We were there for Sunday lunch which is a limited menu my partner went for the smoked salmon and roast which he enjoyed iAm gluten intolerant so I was left with the choice of 1starter and I went for the beef as well but it had been precut in the kitchen and kept warm and arrived on the dry side and not as rare as I wished. I live this Hotel but in this occasion it was not 5 stars It will be back to the Birnum restaurant next time.

The Afternoon Tea is just delicious. The staff are most helpful and delightful. Gleneagles itself is a beautiful building, very historical and has the most relaxing atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful place but food in The Birnam Brasserie extremely disappointing. I certainly did not expect to go to Gleneagles to be served cold, half cooked food. Would certainly not recommend this place to eat.

Secret Garden Afternoon Tea which Andrew Fairlie put his name to. What was meant to be a very special birthday afternoon tea turned out to be a comedy of errors. From there being no window seat booked for us as requested to no vegetarian menu and much more in between. Eventually the vegetarian in our party was offered an egg or cheese sandwich. One would expect a little more imagination in an establishment such as Gleneagles, especially as I am sure the 'secret garden' was stocked with wonderful vegetables. Unfortunately the bread was rather crispy on arrival and had to be sent back. A 5* hotel serving stale sandwiches! I could go on, suffice to say the whole day was spoiled. Whilst management have been polite and listened, we feel rather brushed aside. After all what is one spoiled birthday to the 5* Gleneagles?

Afternoon tea was a lovely experience. Staff friendly and attentive to begin with however we had to ask for plates and knives for our scones after the others had been removed. Hence 3 stats for this upmarket hotel destination.

Gorgeous hotel with fantastic facilities for adults and children. The rooms are huge and comfortable. There are so many places to eat and drink with cafes and restaurants inside. The swimming pool is really nice with children’s area, outside hot spa pool, quiet adults only swimming pool, jacuzzi tub, steam room and sauna. The restrooms are huge with lockers, bathrooms, toilets, vanity station fully equipped with hairdryer, lotion, tissues, cotton buds and cotton pads. Cleaned towels are ready available. There are water fountains there too. You can even get kids size (according to their age too) bath robes and bedroom slippers. This hotel has a huge gym and gorgeous spa too for adults. There is a huge den for the kids to play with a mini theatre, game console, table hockey, pool table, floor snake & ladder, scrabble, board games and etc. And clean toilets. Highly recommended hotel for both golfers and non-golfers.

Parking was easy. Service from arrival, check in throughout the stay including the restaurant and breakfast was faultless. Food in the Andrew Fairlie was excellent, room was great. Why only 4 stars then? A room, dinner and a few drinks for 2 people, £1200. It means I can't compliment the value for money, there are better value options in the 5 star bracket in Scotland.

Had the extraordinary delight of dining at Andrew Fairlie's restaurant last night! What a treat! Managed a quick cocktail in the bar first before heading through for a very warm welcome. Our waiters were so very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was outstanding — flavoursome perfection. I put the choice of wine for my main course in the hands of the sommelier and was delighted with how well it complemented the dish — it was a wine I'd never have chosen but thoroughly enjoyed. My husband and I loved the whole experience and will treasure the memory.
Definitely something very special for us and would recommend it to anyone who gets the chance.

For a preeminent world renowned golf resort, I very surprised the golf flyover feature on the web site does not work for both the Kings and Queens courses. Hope management will fix the issue. It’s a shame a customer has to raise this issue to management.

This is a wonderful hotel and charges accordingly. Great for a special occasion and we had a lovely room with a great view of the entrance, perfect for people spotting! We dined in the Andrew Fairlie restaurant which was an experience we won’t forget. Surrounded by beautiful scenery this place has it all.

Afternoon tea with my daughter's and friends. Lovely surroundings, friendly, helpful staff and the food was amazing. My daughter is gluten intolerant and the gluten free option at some places can be disappointing. Not so at Gleneagles. The gluten free selection was as delicious as the rest. It was a lovely relaxed afternoon. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

I booked the William Curley Afternoon Tea for a hen party and really cannot recommend the whole Gleneagles highly enough. A few of the party had severe food allergies and the team at Gleneagles really went above and beyond to cater for our needs. I got a phone call the day before just to confirm everything and assure me that every precaution was being taken with regards to the allergies. The afternoon tea itself was outstanding! We also got picked up from the train station organised by the concierge which was a great service and our luggage was sorted for us whilst we had our afternoon tea, as we were staying in near by Lodges. We all had a great day and would highly recommend Gleneagles!

The hotel is beautiful and most of the staff attentive and pleasant. The food lets the place down and if I was to rate food alone it would be 2.5/3. We dined in AF and felt quite disappointed with the ambience, stuffiness and bland tasting food. Breakfast was nice despite watery poached eggs with broken shell. Ho hum… The hotel and grounds are lovely to meander through though, making it a pleasure and a treat.

Stunning setting, beautiful interior. Incredible facilities… but some prohibitively expensive. Spa and massage was incredible. Outdoor pool a bit small but nice to visit. Breakfast choices are vast but dissapointed by the quality of some of the meat produce. The fish and cheese and fruit options made up for it though. A wonderful experience.

This is by far the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. What a beautiful place. Not one person had anything negative to say. Beautifully decorated and huge rooms. Fantastic views and a whole range of amenities throughout the hotel including shops, cafes, spa etc. The best place by far for a special occasion or just a weekend treat.

We stayed here recently for an anniversary and special birthday treat. From the moment we arrived we knew we’d be in good hands! The facilities are beyond fabulous and the staff are so helpful and friendly. We dined in their Strathearn restaurant and cannot have found fault with a single thing, even if we’d tried. As for breakfast… you’re in for a delightful treat! Excellent.

We only went to see some friends that were staying at the hotel. We met them in the bar area which was nice and spacious, good selection of drinks at a high price (£7 a beer, £12 25ml spirit and mixer), the girl running the bar was on her own and looked rushed off of her feet. The bar area is large with comfortable seating all around. Then they took us to the shops and spa. As expected the shops are all high end expensive items, but all very nice. It was quiet there with hardly any people at all. The spa looked lovely, with an outdoor heated pool and an indoor pool. The room was lovely and the bathroom was huge and well presented. His and her basin, white cast iron bath etc. They ordered breakfast in bed. Cold and hot breakfast.

This place is amazing. If you are ever lucky enough to stay there are so many things to do. Yes it's pricey but worth every penny. The golfing is out of this world and you are absolutely looked after. The food in the clubhouse is amazing.

Are lunch in the Birnham Brasserie. Nice setting, very nice food however the service was slow. Furthermore, the soup was quite watery and I felt a little robbed that it was £12. I have previously stated at the hotel and eaten there before and not had any problems. Fantastic hotel — the best I have ever stayed at.

Gleneagles is always an absolute pleasure, from winter to summer it's somewhere to unwind and relax in great comfort. A luxury retreat for all of the family. I can't quite explain the pleasure knowing that from 6 to 65 everyone is having a blast. As my 8 year told me this morning, it's 'awesome'. Wellies, boots, trainers and heels. The lack of pretence is a joy. We've been coming as a family for years and plan to come for many more.

Recently attended this Hotel via work golf comp. Must say it is world class. Staff are amazing, golf courses are top notch ⛳️

Dinner in Birnam Bistro. Setting was pleasant. Service was unremarkable and pretty slow. Food, when it came, was less than hot. Offered and accepted compensation. Wouldn't rush back.

Had a lovely afternoon tea. It is the first time we have been back since the refurbishment and the hotel is looking great. As always the food was wonderful and the staff were brilliant.

One of the most efficient hotels with a vast army of workers making the front of house a faultless experience. From the best breakfast in Scotland, a stunning spa experience and even gardeners stopping their work to offer to take group pictures… nothing was too much trouble.

I use the pool here, occasionally the coffee shop and I have used the playroom which is very good especially for younger children. The pool and changing facilities are clean, up to date, immaculately ordered, staff are courteous and respond very well to to mention of anything that needs attention. I have looked in at the new American bar. It's a classic, enticing design and not casual dress which is a good thing. Update: July 2017. The terrace outside the century bar was enticing while I waited for the family and you just have to remind yourself that the fiver you'll pay for a tea here includes the peace, the immaculate lawns, the impeccable service, the view…

Rooms are lovely, everything has been thought of. Restaurants are amazing, really great food and service. Spa is very relaxing with great facilities.

Kings course had a warm welcome and a monster of a course. Was soaking wet with standing water and bunkers were hard with little sand. Great greens.

I can thoroughly recommend the afternoon teas they are delicious, we dined there for a double birthday treat and wow was it a treat indeed.

I absolutely love coming here. I come every year to a house in glenmor. There is so many activities to do here. Love it.
